“So what you’re saying is, someone like you — currently the weakest in your entire species — your people only get stronger the more you fight, to the point where, among the older generation, some of you can physically push planets around?

And your average lifespan runs several thousand years, even accounting for the fact that most of you die in battle, with essentially no recorded cases of dying of old age?

And on top of all that, individually, you’re each capable of faster-than-light travel?”Full novel: I, A Viltrumite, Have The World’s Strongest Chatgroup…? — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Drooling.

Absolutely drooling.

Even though this body he’d descended to Earth in came with an unusually heightened range of emotional expression, if he could actually get his hands on something like this, even his “big self” hearing about it would probably wake up laughing in the middle of the night.

Because this was exactly it — guided by the will of a former king, ruled by a Regent, a military empire that loved conquest, where the strong reigned supreme, keeping alive a delightfully old-fashioned, blood-soaked tradition.

One that also looked down on xenos and cared fanatically about the purity of its bloodline.

Where even breeding with a xenos without prior authorization counted as a crime.

Setting that last part aside — why did this sound so much like that garbage he’d dreamed up himself?

Whatever, that’s his failure, not mine.

There’s absolutely no way I’m letting my own Imperium turn out like that.

Nyos shook off the pointless train of thought:

“Leon, didn’t you mention something earlier about breeding with humans on Earth?”

Clark, standing nearby, had been completely lost up until this point, but his face went red the moment he heard that.

What exactly was the Boy Scout picturing?

Hard to say.

Leon pressed down the corner of his mouth and said:

“Viltrumite genes are extremely aggressive.

We can produce offspring with almost any species we pair with.

The child inherits some traits from the other parent, but overall, they’ll end up Viltrumite.

Their power level depends on genetic compatibility, but over generations, they all trend closer and closer to full-blood.”

Sealed deal.

How is this any different from having dinner spoon-fed straight to me?

Nyos silently pumped his fist — he figured this had serious potential.

If my future Custodians could learn to fly too, someday…

But he cooled off quickly, settling back into his Emperor persona.

Given all the monsters and demons waiting for him back home, this was a matter that called for caution — extreme caution.

“In that case, Leon, I think I’ll need your help.

Would you mind heading to my world to provide some materials?”

“Of course, Nyos.

You’ve seen my strength, and I’ve seen yours.

Isn’t that what helping each other out is all about?”

Leon raised a hand, gesturing around the room.

“Take this world, for instance — I might be able to easily take down any enemy with a physical body, but against those abstract, metaphysical things, there’s not much I can do for now.” Follow the newest chapters on NovelPing.

Clark raised his hand too, wanting in.

“Count me in as well.

If you need help, I’d be glad to lend whatever small strength I have.”

But that raised a problem — Leon had no idea just how strong a Viltrumite’s magic resistance actually was.

Same went for Superman.

On paper, their theoretical magic resistance didn’t look low at all, but somehow, something always managed to crawl out of some dark corner and get one over on him anyway.

Getting ambushed by the DC universe on a near-daily basis.

“Still, there’s quite a lot of groundwork that needs doing before something like this.

You should remember what I mentioned about malevolent entities — corruption, erosion, they get in everywhere.”

Nyos, naturally, was well aware of that already.

“I’ll do everything I can to protect you both, but you’re both completely free to say no — please keep that in mind, always.”

He could work his own people to death without a second thought, sure, but he understood well enough that outside help from another world deserved actual respect.

And with that, the three adults of the Strongest Alive Today (Reserves) had reached an agreement.

After that, they let the two worried kids in the group know everyone was safe.

Nyos kept at it a while longer — he seemed to have brushed against some fragments of knowledge from the Fate world.

He set up a few countermeasures in the area, watching over Ritsuka Fujimaru until the automatic return kicked in.

Back in his own world, Leon checked over his injuries once more.

They’d healed up surprisingly well — whether that was some effect of crossing worlds, or a boost from fighting Servants, he couldn’t say for sure.

But all in all, it couldn’t have been too far off — his adaptability had, at least, given him a slight edge in resistance to bladed attacks.

Stretching his limbs a bit, Leon took off and opened up the live chat.

Looked like Ritsuka Fujimaru had woken up not long after they’d left.

Right now, she was sharing some of the knowledge she’d remembered.

[The Tiger of West Junior High]: So you become a Heroic Spirit, huh, that’s kind of enviable.

I heard that us sorcerers, if we’re not killed by cursed energy, end up turning into super-super-scary curses instead.

[Mala Donkey Head]: I’ve been learning Sarkaz history from Her Highness Theresa lately, and there’s something kind of similar there too.

She said Sarkaz who die in battle get carried across and return to the myriad souls as well.

So…

the people who did that to my parents — once Mr.

Leon deals with them, do they get to go there too?

The little bunny behind the screen murmured that last line without ever sending it.

[The Tiger of West Junior High]: @Orange-Haired, Gold-Eyed Menace to Humanity Speaking of which, Ritsuka, did you get the bonus reward from using that special summon?

[Orange-Haired, Gold-Eyed Menace to Humanity]: Oh, right!

A moment later, Ritsuka posted a selfie.

In it, armor plating clung to her arm, and she gripped a greatsword that looked far too large for her frame.

Leon recognized it instantly — it had come from King Hassan.

[Orange-Haired, Gold-Eyed Menace to Humanity]: It said this is power I awakened myself, by breaking through my own limits — it’s called Saint Graph Adherence.

Since using it, I’ve had all this power surging through me.

[Not-a-God Yellow Weasel]: Ritsuka, you should be aware this is an ability similar to that other version of you.

The truth of your world might well be tangled up in it too — and if it’s genuinely your own power, be careful of the cost as well.

[Orange-Haired, Gold-Eyed Menace to Humanity]: I know, Mr.

Nyos.

After that brief reminder, Nyos started sharing his own haul as well.

[Not-a-God Yellow Weasel]: Might be that I came out with the smallest reward of all of us.

It said something like “not authorized to grant you a title,” and gave me knowledge instead.

[Kansas Farm Boy]: Still sounds pretty impressive, though.

Here’s mine.

The screenshot showed a trait.

[Son of the Yellow Sun C+]

[The amount of energy you can draw from a yellow sun is slightly increased; combat performance under a yellow sun is slightly enhanced.]

A plain, unremarkable little buff — “slightly,” it says, but who knows what tier Superman ends up jumping to once he’s fully leaned into it emotionally.

That whole “win or lose, either way I leveled up” business was the nastiest trick of all.

And then Leon’s own reward popped up too —

[Viltrumite Hand-Blade (Provisional Name)]

[Rank: C.

Type: Anti-Personnel Noble Phantasm (?)

Effective Range: 1.

Maximum Targets: 1.

An utterly unremarkable motion — anyone could pull it off.

But in the hands of a Viltrumite like Leon, it becomes a weapon that ends lives without fail, unstoppable in every encounter.

Whether against aliens or his own kind, it has yet to meet its match.

The only question is — how many more worlds will these blood-soaked hands travel through, and how many more lives will they take, before it’s through?]**

The instant he touched back down on Earth, Leon suddenly felt like there was an extra empty container somewhere inside his body.

Don’t tell me this is my NP gauge now?

Though, this description — he had a suspicion it’d been written by Alaya or whatever, secretly taking a jab at him.

Next time we meet, I’ll crack you a Grand-rank reward too, how about that.

He forwarded it to the group along with his thoughts.

[Orange-Haired, Gold-Eyed Menace to Humanity]: Wait, it’s a Noble Phantasm?!

Does that make Leon my very first Servant, hehe?

Huh, would’ve been nice to have a stat monster like this back when I actually played the game.

Sanjou’d straight back to the Throne of Heroes.

Not paying the group’s reactions much more mind, Leon turned his attention to his phone.

A news alert had just popped up — sounded like some villain was causing trouble.

Well.

Might as well give it a try?
