The man in the blue brocade robe tried to break free, but Qin Yun’s grip felt like forged steel, and no matter how much force he used, he couldn’t escape.

His expression twisted with rage as he shouted, “You bastard, let go of me right now! If you don’t, I’ll have your entire family wiped out!”

Qin Yun’s face turned cold as he twisted sharply. A crisp crack rang out as the man’s right hand broke, and he let out a piercing howl of agony.Full novel: I Become Invincible After the Fairy’s Embrace — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Qin Yun’s fist struck his face in the next instant, and the man’s entire face caved in as bones shattered.

He collapsed to the ground with only a sliver of breath left.

Qian Susu went pale with terror, tears streaming uncontrollably.

Qin Yun said, “It’s alright now, he won’t hurt you anymore,” trying to calm her.

Qian Susu shook her head through her tears and said, “Grandfather, Brother Qin Yun, hurry and run…”

Even though the man in the blue robe was only a distant relative of the Prince of Chu’s Residence, injuring him meant Qin Yun and Ancestor Xuantian would be arrested and punished.

The cloudship hadn’t departed yet, so they still had time to escape. If they fled now and hid for eight or ten years until the incident faded from memory, they might survive this disaster.

Qian Lingxiao rose to his feet, and a group of young men and women quickly surrounded them as he said, “You hurt someone related to the Prince of Chu’s Residence and think you can run?”

Qian Susu forced herself forward, trembling but determined as she said, “Brother Lingxiao, it… it was my fault. This… everything started because of me. I’m willing… willing to take the punishment for them…”

Qian Lingxiao sneered and shoved her aside as he said, “You? Take the punishment? What are you? Just a concubine-born girl with the nerve to step forward? You’re getting bold. Get out of my way!”

Qian Susu nearly fell, but Qin Yun steadied her, and her eyes reddened even more from humiliation and grievance.

Qin Yun glared coldly at Qian Lingxiao and said, “She is your younger sister. How can you treat her like this?”

Having never had parents or siblings, Qin Yun had always envied those who did. If he had a younger sister, he would risk his life to protect her.

Qian Lingxiao said, “You can’t even protect yourself, yet you meddle in someone else’s business. How I treat her is my matter. What does it have to do with you? Not just pushing her—if I beat her to death, no one would dare say a word.” His gaze turned icy as he continued, “You injured someone from the Prince of Chu’s Residence. That is a grave offense. Kneel now and await judgment.”

The young men echoed him. “Kneel!”

“Didn’t you hear the Young Prince? Kneel!”

Qin Yun looked at Ancestor Xuantian and asked, “Can I use heavy force?”

Ancestor Xuantian froze for an instant, realizing Qin Yun had sensed something and suspected a connection between him and these people. Otherwise, he wouldn’t have asked. New chapters come out on novelping . com first.

Ancestor Xuantian replied, “Teach them a proper lesson. If they develop killing intent, then kill them.”

Qin Yun nodded, then reached for Qian Lingxiao.

Qian Lingxiao snorted and said, “You overestimate yourself. A 6th stage Heavenly Meridian Realm dares touch me?”

He had a 2nd stage Innate Realm cultivation level, and he didn’t even bother to move as one of the purple-clad young men beside him punched toward Qin Yun. Innate true qi surged from the man’s fist, erupting with great power.

Qin Yun clenched his fist and punched back.

With an explosive bang, the purple-clad young man’s Innate protective true qi shattered, his fist broke, and he flew backward, smashing through several chairs.

The young men and women around them turned pale. He was a 1st stage Innate Realm cultivator, yet Qin Yun, only at the 6th stage Heavenly Meridian Realm, sent him flying with a single punch and destroyed his arm.

Qian Susu stared in shock, thinking Qin Yun was unbelievably strong.

Qin Yun shifted instantly and appeared before Qian Lingxiao, reaching for his face.

Qian Lingxiao unleashed his Innate true qi, strong enough to send Qin Yun flying. But Qin Yun didn’t budge; instead, he tore through the incoming true qi with one hand.

Qian Lingxiao’s eyes widened in disbelief, wondering what kind of monster Qin Yun was. Before he could react further, Qin Yun’s hand clamped down on his face, fingers digging in as his facial bones cracked, ready to crush at any moment.

Qian Lingxiao felt true fear for the first time, realizing how terrifying Qin Yun’s strength was.

A cold voice suddenly echoed as a gaunt middle-aged man in black robes stepped out from the shadows.

A terrifying aura burst from him, filling the entire cabin. Qin Yun bore the brunt of the pressure but held his ground through sheer physical strength.

Qian Susu whitened at the sight; she recognized him as An Mo, the Prince of Chu’s Residence’s fifth-ranked cultivator. His cultivation level was unfathomable, and she never expected him to be accompanying Qian Lingxiao as a path guardian.

An Mo’s eyes narrowed slightly as he said, “So you’re a body cultivator. No wonder you can withstand my aura. Impressive talent, but relying on a bit of strength to cause trouble—aren’t you a bit too arrogant?” He raised a finger toward Qin Yun. “Since your elders didn’t teach you, I’ll teach you myself.”

A force shot through the air toward Qin Yun.

Right before it landed, Ancestor Xuantian appeared in front of Qin Yun and waved his hand, dispersing the attack instantly.

He asked, “May I know who you are?”

Ancestor Xuantian replied, “You’re not worthy of knowing. You said you wanted to teach him on behalf of his elders. I’d like to see what qualifications you have.” Ancestor Xuantian then appeared before An Mo in a flash and struck him with one palm.

A thunderous boom resounded as An Mo was sent flying, smashing through the cabin wall and skidding across the floor before coughing up a large mouthful of blood. He lay there, gravely injured and horrified.

He trembled as he asked, “Who… who are you?” He knew Ancestor Xuantian had held back—otherwise, that slap would have killed him outright. He never imagined Ancestor Xuantian’s strength could be this terrifying.

Ancestor Xuantian said, “I told you. You’re not worthy of knowing.”

An Mo immediately tried to salvage the situation as he said, “Sir, this is the Young Prince of the Prince of Chu’s Residence. I am An Mo, guest elder of the Prince of Chu’s Residence…”

Ancestor Xuantian cut him off coldly, “I don’t care who you are. Apologize. Now.”

An Mo’s face stiffened.

Anyone who wasn’t afraid of the Prince of Chu’s Residence clearly came from a frightening background. They had likely kicked an iron wall today. He inhaled deeply, then commanded the young men and women, “All of you, go to the third cabin. Without my permission, do not come out. If you do, don’t blame me for what happens.”

They retreated. Qian Susu hesitated but followed them.

She was still worried about Qin Yun and Ancestor Xuantian, hoping the situation would somehow end peacefully. Offending the Prince of Chu’s Residence brought them nothing but danger.

An Mo closed the second cabin door and turned to Ancestor Xuantian, saying, “Sir, may I ask that you allow our Young Prince to be released first?”

Ancestor Xuantian replied coldly, “Whether he is released or not depends on him. Do whatever you want.”

Qin Yun then released his hold. Qian Lingxiao collapsed to the floor, his face pale.

An Mo said, “Young Prince, apologize.”

Qian Lingxiao lowered his head and said, “I offended you earlier. Please forgive me. I won’t dare again.”

Ancestor Xuantian’s expression eased slightly.

Qian Lingxiao was arrogant, but not hopeless—had he dared continue provoking them, Ancestor Xuantian would not have spared him.
