A bright moon hung high in the night sky.

Beneath a large tree stood two dark silhouettes.

The male with waist-length yellow hair looked somewhat anxious, appearing a bit sneaky.Full novel: I Built a Bloodline Across the Beast World — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

In contrast, the other male had jewel-like eyes that remained fixed on a specific spot, looking as though he was ready to enter a combat state at any moment.

Caesar was a little stunned, his mind racing as he tried to think of any possible way to persuade Reya.

“Reya, even if you don’t do it for yourself, you have to think about Misha.

Her fertility is already low, and you’re rumored to be infertile.

If you two become mates and Misha never gets pregnant with cubs, how will the tribe look at her?”

Reya’s expression turned solemn, but he remained silent.

Seeing this, Caesar continued to push.

“What if she is fertile, and the problem is only with you?

She would have to bear the stigma, affecting her for the rest of her life.

Don’t you think that’s unfair?

What little female doesn’t want a cub of her own?

Just look at how much she likes that black bear cub, and you’ll know.”

Reya pursed his lips.

“I got it.”

Caesar knew when to stop and didn’t press the matter further.

By the time Reya returned to the wooden cabin, Misha had already finished her bath.

She raised her voice and called out, “I’m done washing.”

Immediately after, Reya pushed the door open, entered, and silently carried the bathtub outside to empty the water.

After waiting for about fifteen minutes, Reya finally came back inside.

Seeing him dripping wet, Misha knew he had taken a bath too.

“Reya.” She walked up to him, her breath warm and sweet.

Having experienced system missions across multiple lifetimes, pride and shame were no longer things that held her back.

She took the initiative, wrapping her arms around Reya’s neck, her doe eyes sparkling brightly.

Growing up, Reya had never had such intimate contact with a little female.

His body instantly stiffened, and he stared in a daze as Misha’s soft pink lips landed on his.

Soft, fragrant—it was a scent uniquely belonging to little females.

His large hands involuntarily encircled her slender waist.

His Adam’s apple bobbed, and his body grew searing hot.

Misha’s eyes curved into a smile as she pulled back to leave, but Reya firmly held the back of her head.

A forceful kiss swept over her.

Reya’s kiss lacked technique, driven entirely by raw instinct.

At times, he even bumped against Misha’s teeth, and before long, the taste of blood lingered in their mouths.

Misha couldn’t help but let out a soft whimper of pain.

“Mmm~”

The sound seemed to act as encouragement.

Reya scooped her up by the waist and walked toward the grass nest on the floor.

The nest was lined with thick animal skins, topped with a tiger pelt.

His passionate kisses trailed along her neck and collarbone.

It was a strange sensation, thrilling like an electric shock yet inexplicably pleasurable.

The bandeau and Beast Skin Skirt she had been wearing were already long gone.

He was remarkably well-endowed.

But just as he was about to cross the final threshold, Reya suddenly stopped.

Misha’s lust-filled eyes looked up at the male in front of her with confusion, her voice soft and saccharine.

“What’s wrong?”

The fiery desire in Reya’s eyes was no less than Misha’s, but there was also a deep struggle within them.

Misha could feel him losing his momentum.

“System, the target doesn’t seem to be up for it,” she complained inwardly.

“Impossible.

Absolutely impossible,” the system immediately replied.

“Then what’s going on here?” she wondered.

Was it because she was “too ugly,” affecting Reya’s performance?

Her expression grew serious.

Pursing her lips, she asked, “Reya, do you find me too ugly?”

Reya quickly shook his head, planting a reverent kiss on Misha’s forehead.

“It’s my problem.

Don’t worry, I will always take care of you, provide for you, and stay by your side.

Even if we don’t form a Mate Beast Mark, it’s fine.”

She thought, “Uh…

thanks a lot.”

Feeling her pride had been insulted, her mood instantly plummeted.

She put her clothes back on and said flatly, “I can take care of myself without you.”

Internally, she was going crazy.

What she needed were cubs and points!

Nonsense like “I’ll provide for you” was fine to listen to, but not to be taken seriously.

If Reya hadn’t been her mission target, she would have dusted off her hands and left right then and there.

Sure enough, mission targets were never that easy to conquer.

She would have to think of another way.

The two of them spent the rest of the night in silence.

When Misha woke up the next morning, fragrant meat had already been cooked in the stone pot.

Reya was feeding the little black bear goat’s milk, looking every bit the picture of a perfect husband.

Aside from failing to cooperate with her in making cubs, Reya was truly impeccable in every other aspect.

Even knowing she had hunting abilities, he never once suggested she go out to hunt in the forest.

Instead, he stuck to his duty, heading out to hunt early and returning late.

Just as Misha finished her breakfast, footsteps sounded from outside.

Reya put the black bear cub down and looked outside warily.

“Who is it?”

“It’s me, Bo Ya, and my mate, Cui Na.”

Misha wiped her mouth and stepped out of the wooden cabin, finding that Cui Na and Bo Ya had also brought their little female cub along.

The little cub’s curious eyes darted around, looking quite energetic.

She couldn’t help but complain internally.

These parents were truly careless.

Bringing the little cub out into the wind right after she had just recovered!

If it weren’t for taking half a Body Strengthening Pill, the little female cub would probably catch a fever the moment she went back.

Bo Ya held half a prey in his hand.

“We’re here to express our gratitude.

If it weren’t for the little female Misha yesterday, our little cub might have…”

Recalling the danger of yesterday, even a male like Bo Ya choked up a little.

Cui Na beside him also had red eyes.

Only the little cub herself was happily blowing bubbles, completely oblivious.

“I just happened to know a way to cure the little cub’s diarrhea.

Thanks to your trust in me, it worked out.” Misha smiled, gently poking the little female cub’s soft cheek.

Seeing her interact with the little cub, Reya felt a sudden pang in his heart.

Bo Ya patted his chest, solemnly declaring, “If you ever need help with anything in the future, just ask.”

Misha didn’t stand on ceremony.

Her eyes darted around before she said, “Actually, there is something.

The reason I was able to make it in time when your little cub got sick yesterday was because Reya thought to bring over our extra goat’s milk.

He doesn’t talk much, but he’s very thoughtful.

Since he hunts alone in the forest, I always worry about him when I’m home.

I’d like you to help look after him out there.”

Reya was somewhat surprised, not expecting Misha to say such a thing.

They had clearly ended last night on a sour note, yet she was still looking out for him.

A trace of warmth flowed through his heart, and his gaze softened as he looked at her.

Bo Ya curled his lips into a smile.

“That’s nothing at all.

I’m heading to the forest to hunt shortly anyway.

Reya, come with me.

I’ll take you to where the prey is most abundant.

I promise you won’t come back empty-handed, and Misha won’t go hungry.”

Bo Ya was very enthusiastic, and coupled with Misha’s request, Reya did not refuse.

After escorting Cui Na and the little female cub home, Bo Ya came back to get Reya, and the two set out for the forest together.

With nothing else to do at home, Misha simply played with the black bear cub.

However, an uninvited guest suddenly arrived at the house.

“Misha, I want to talk to you.”
