Su Yang’s eyes narrowed as his tongue was hit by a mild taste of sweetness and a soft texture. It was very juicy. He held his cheeks as his body trembled. ’So good.’ He couldn’t stop swallowing. The meat melted in his mouth within a few seconds.
He licked his lips. "If I had seasoning, it would’ve been even tastier." He patted his thigh, shaking his head as he missed out on an exquisite dish.
But that thought didn’t last much longer as he began to sweat, with heat building up in his body. His entire face was dripping with water. He swiftly removed his robes and got down to his underwear, yet it was no use as the heat was still growing within him.
He didn’t wipe off his sweat as it was trying to cool him. "No wonder humans wouldn’t dare to eat Demonic Beasts." He realised. Luckily, he had tasted only a small piece, hence it wasn’t powerful enough to harm him. His entire body was reeking of the stinking smell and was wet.
’Still not cooling down.’ He took a deep breath and wondered, ’How to decrease or digest this thing quickly?’
"Yes, Phoenix Stance." He stood up and began cultivating. He flapped his hands like a bird and surrounded himself with Nirvana Flames. His eyebrows lowered in relief as his body started to cool down. He tried to maintain his breathing pattern as he didn’t stop the Phoenix Stance.
Su Yang didn’t use Nirvana Flames directly inside his body as he couldn’t control them perfectly, and he was afraid that his organs would be burned unknowingly. They were indeed healing flames, but at the end of the day, they were flames that could burn his enemies under his command.
After one full round of the stance, he pulled a cloth from his storage pouch and wiped his body. "I would’ve liked a nice, cool bath at this time."
He put on a new crimson robe as the old one was wet.
He opened the cheat panel to check whether eating the meat had improved anything.

Scanning the luminous window in his vision, he exclaimed in shock, "One bite caused me to gain one Wisp?"
His eyes shone like torches as he turned to the dead tiger’s carcass. He rubbed his palms. First, he didn’t forget to scrutinise himself internally and externally. He sure didn’t have inner vision like powerful cultivators, but he could sense his own emotions.
"Most humans who devoured Demonic Beasts usually suffer from mental breakdowns and are unable to control their emotions." He tried to recall the people who mocked him for being weak, and then clenched his fist. ’I’ll kick their butts for sure.’ Indeed, he was furious!
He took a breath and remembered the cake made by his elder sister. "It was too sweet." He groaned. "And had salt in between." He spat as he almost felt as if he’d tasted it again.
He burst out laughing. "Ahahah." It took a few minutes for him to calm down. "She was so confused. Hahah." It was him! He was the one who put a bit of salt in it. She was always annoying him, so he had to get his revenge.
’Yup!’ Su Yang patted himself. "I’m perfectly alright."
His mental state was in perfect condition.
"This thing could yield about 400 to 500 kg of edible meat." He wasn’t an expert at butchering, much less estimating the amount of meat from a carcass. He lightly decided on a random figure.
He picked a sharp-looking rock from the corner and got to work.
Su Yang glanced at bundles of meat wrapped in leaves. He exhaled. "I’ll sleep now."
He turned to the corner where he had placed the internal organs of the tiger. He wasn’t interested in eating them, so he decided to sell them. "They’ll fetch a good amount of pills."
He yawned as he stretched his hands, feeling sleepy. He lay down directly on the ground and drifted off, snoring!
Su Yang opened his eyes as bright sunlight kept hitting him for a few hours. He stood up with light-hearted movements and got out of the cave. The sun had almost risen to its peak. "It’s close to noon." He shook his head to wipe out the remaining drowsiness.
He swiftly freshened up. Then he picked a piece of tiger meat. It was already cooked by Phoenix Descent, so it could be devoured directly. He threw a big piece into his mouth. He didn’t wait for the heat to build like before; he directly started Phoenix Stance.
Time ticked by as he stopped once in a while to take a bite whenever he sensed that he ran out of energy, and kept continuing the stance.
The moon had risen, yet Su Yang didn’t stop. More than three days passed as he didn’t stop even for a minute.
Su Yang put on another crimson brocade robe, as the previous one was reeking of sweat, fully drenched. "I need to wash them." His lips twitched as he recalled his carefree life in the Su Mansion. "I should’ve brought a maid along!" He felt it was a waste of time.
He folded the wet robe and placed it in an extreme side of his storage pouch. He then glanced at the tiger bones in the cave. They could also be sold for money. He had finished everything except for the internal organs he had left to sell.
He opened his cheat to check the progress he had gained over the past three days.

’Just one more Wisp and I can break through to Minor Perfection of Blood Qi Realm.’ He grinned, folding his hands behind his back.
He then checked his mental condition by simulating different emotions and whether he could control himself. "Good, I’m in perfect health. It might be due to Phoenix Stance." He held his chin, raising his brows in delight. "From now onwards, no need to worry whether I can digest Demonic Aura."
He smiled as he pulled out a glowing crimson orb, one inch in size. "Demonic Core."
It was condensed, dense energy of Demonic Qi. It was shining in a golden-dark colour. "Demonic Beasts are far stronger in the same realm, not just due to physical strength but also due to their large reserves." He muttered, rubbing the burning-hot crystal in his hand.
Demonic Beasts cultivate more Demonic Qi Wisps and condense them into a pure, hard substance, which is the Beast Core. Due to that, beasts can keep fighting for more time and are stronger than average humans.
"Human bodies aren’t strong enough." Su Yang sighed as his elder sister’s words echoed in his mind.
’If humans try to condense more Blood Qi, they would cripple themselves. However, in higher cultivation realms, humans do have their own energy cores.’
"Hmm!" Su Yang threw the details to the back of his mind and focused on the orb. "Should I try to use this as well?"
He didn’t use it before, as he could feel bloodthirsty intent and the remaining tiger’s will on it. "What if I try a small bit?" He decided to try it out.
