After leaving the supermarket, she met with a real estate agent and listed both her house and shop for sale.
Then she headed to the warehouse. It was already noon, and as she passed by a famous and delicious bun shop, she queued up and bought all the popular items: pan-fried buns, meat buns, leek pockets, hot soy milk, fried dough sticks, scallion pancakes, seaweed rolls, and other pastries and buns.
She sat inside the shop, eating and drinking her fill before leaving. Even during her meal, she didn’t waste time—she used her phone to order signature dishes from various five-star hotels and popular restaurants, having them delivered to the warehouse.
Over the next few hours, the four suppliers delivered their goods to the warehouse one after another.
After they left, facing the goods that filled over two hundred square meters, Xie Zhizhi felt overwhelmed.
“How long would it take to collect them one by one?”
She wondered if using her mind to collect them would work.
Staring at the vegetables in front of her, she tried using the method she had envisioned—controlling with her mind. She focused on the fresh carrots on the ground without blinking.
Two seconds later, the carrots on the ground disappeared!
At the same time, she could sense that a carrot had appeared in one of the slots in the Space warehouse. As long as she willed it, she could control every corner of the warehouse, which undoubtedly delighted her.
“This method really works!”
Another one of her envisioned uses for the Space had been confirmed!
She then began collecting the supplies on the ground in batches. Her mental control went from clumsy to proficient, leaving the poultry for last.
When the warehouse was filled with a thousand slots, the Space upgraded!
After a minute, once the upgrade was complete, she could enter.
Xie Zhizhi stopped what she was doing and entered the Space, timing it carefully.
A flash of white light appeared, and she shielded her eyes with her hand. When she opened them again, she saw that the neatly arranged shelves were now stocked with a wide variety of modern items—food, drinks, and all sorts of goods, dazzling and abundant.
A strange sense of security and satisfaction filled her heart.
After the upgrade, she could sense that the warehouse had expanded and grown larger, with fifty more rows of empty shelves added at the back.
It was magical, truly magical!
Her eyes swept around and settled on her left side. The wall that had originally bordered the shelves was now empty, replaced by a large white arched door.
She walked over, grasped the handle, and opened the door, her face filled with anticipation…
“Woof!”
To her surprise, a large, pitch-black dog charged straight at her.
Xie Zhizhi was knocked to the ground, the dog’s meaty paws resting on her shoulders as if embracing her. Its head nuzzled against her cheek again and again, its smooth fur brushing against her arm.
This time, it was her turn to scream, nearly losing control of her expression.
“Oh! Who are you?”
The Big Black Dog realized it had been too rough and quickly got up, even trying to extend a paw to help her up, though its paw structure made it impossible!
“Woof!” It still wagged its tail excitedly, its big round eyes looking at her before turning its head to show her the scene beyond the arched door.
Xie Zhizhi quickly stood up, understanding its meaning, and blinked curiously. “You want me to go in?”
The Big Black Dog nodded.
Amazed, she followed it, smiling as she asked, “You can understand what I say? And you can understand my meaning?”
“Woof!” The Big Black Dog trotted happily beside her, responding.
And just like that, she was led by the four-legged little fellow on a big tour around the area beyond the arched door. The area outside the warehouse stretched as far as the eye could see, roughly the size of a commercial district, making it impossible to judge its true extent.
In the distance stood several small hills, with a winding path leading to a two-story, rustic-style cottage about a hundred square meters in size. To the left of the path flowed a crystal-clear stream shrouded in mist, emanating an aura of Immortal Qi—could that be the Spirit Spring Water?
To the right of the path lay a vast expanse of fertile farmland, beneath a clear blue sky.
“So beautiful.”
Absolutely breathtaking.
Though the Space was not vast, the air was fresh and pleasant, and aside from a dog, there were no other living creatures. A tranquil and leisurely life was just like this.
All of these were things she had dreamed of possessing, and now they had come true—except for the dog.
“Little black dog, you stay here by yourself. I have to go.” Xie Zhizhi crouched down and patted its head. The remaining questions could wait until she had more time to explore. For now, preparing the supplies was the priority, as a sense of urgency and tension lingered in her heart.
With a wave, she turned and left the Space.
“Woof!” The Big Black Dog watched the disappearing figure with reluctance, its dark, round eyes brimming with joy and excitement.
Woof, Master, look at Dahei!
…
Outside the Space, Xie Zhizhi quickly gathered the remaining daily necessities, ingredients, noodles, and other supplies. Whatever couldn’t fit into the warehouse compartments was placed directly inside the small cottage in the ecological Space.
The live chicks were set free to roam and live in the farmland.
