I opened my eyes and found myself in the silence. The world is mesmerising, the wind gusts through the blue-grey grassy landscape as far as the eye can see.
Scattered ruins of the city lay all around me. Mother nature has already claimed the ruins as theirs, vines and moss mixed with the stone bricks, warning any intruder that this is their territory now.
I felt my mouth opening, but no words came out. The red, rosy sky glimmers as stars become brighter and brighter. The yellow clouds swirl, separated and rejoined, over and over again.
I tilted my head up at the sky, I don't remember when the bright rosy sky turned into a beautiful starry night... I can see the beauty of the cosmos beyond this world. The galaxies, the stars, the planets... Making me feel so small, yet I know I am as mighty as a giant.
I take in a deep breath, closing my eyes for a moment before opening them.
White trees surround me; I'm in an enchanting forest now. Each tree with beautiful silver leaves flutters in the absence of wind, creating a beautiful symphony, and when the moment is perfect. The light shone down, and the leaves reflected it; it's the most majestic and beautiful thing that any living being would've seen.
Black tears started falling as I turned my head to my right, and I noticed she was there.
I don't remember how long I was standing at this spot, but there she is. I can't see her face, but I know that she is important to me. Who is it? Why can't I remember you?
No matter how much I run and reach out toward that girl, I could never get close to her. I reached my hands out to her, but only to miss her as her long hair fluttered away.
As if the universe is denying my desire for that girl, without that girl. I feel incomplete.
My heart aches, to the point that it would've been better if I disappeared from the world... But I can't, I know the girl I see in my dream is out there... I just need to find her...
I widened my eyes as I noticed that I'm now wielding a sword. Why? Is that girl my enemy? But why would I want to kill that girl...
Turning my head toward the desert, I see groups of beings attacking the girl, who is beautifully and elegantly dancing. Dodging each strike with barely any space between her skin and the blades.
I tighten my sword as I dash and strike down the foes who are after that girl's life.
Ahhhh... I see, I am now wielding the sword to protect that girl with my life... And yet, why won't you let me see your face?
At that moment, everything starts to melt away like snow in the summer, all except for the girl.
She finally turns her head in my direction, staring back with her beautiful purple eyes.
I stared at her eyes, being mesmerised, and the girl responded with a gentle smile.
I tried asking who she was, but no sounds came out. After all, this is the world of silence.
The girl chuckles, the only sound I have ever heard here, and for the first time. I am now realising that her hair is white like the winter snow. How beautiful...
She turned around and started walking away in the direction of the light.
I stood in the darkness. I did not make any attempt to go after her; I did not feel saddened or dejected from her departure... She didn't speak, but I could feel that she said: "We would first meet in 10 years."
The back of the girl is slim and gentle, but to me. It looks like a pillar supporting the weight of the universe.
What kind of burdens is she carrying? When can I lessen your burden with you?

Ahhh... No wonder...
I looked at myself, realising that I am currently dreaming.
This was all a dream. Everything was... But I cannot deny that it is as real as my life.
I blink my eyes, staring in the direction of the light. The girl has long disappeared.
Despite realising that this is a dream. Deep inside me, I made a promise. I will wait faithfully... For you. My saviour... And my other half.
The void started cracking, and white lights shone through the cracks. Everything around her starts collapsing, and she can feel the motion of falling into the void before making the sleeping woman wake up. Her red eyes shone lightly in the dark.
She yawned and rubbed her eyes. Her skin stings from the abnormally cold temperature inside this abandoned room.
Taking in her surroundings and breathing in the cold, damp air.
'What a shitty prison cell'
She scoffs as she lies back down on the bed.
'... I kept having the same dreams for 5 years...'
Exhaling, she stood up and proceeded to exercise. She needs to move her body and muscles to ensure that her blood keeps flowing and keeps her warm.
'Too bad they took away my ability to use magic or skills.'
After exercising for 30 minutes, she took a rest.
'... The landscape in my dream looked beautiful. I wonder if it looks like that outside of this place.'
Sitting against the cold, black, sleek wall, she exhales white mist.
'I already forgot what the outside looked like...'
She chuckles at her suffering.
'30 thousand years since I've been here...'
She closed her eyes as she remembered the dream she had just had. The beautiful purple eyes, the winter white hair fluttering, as the girl elegantly dances past every strike from her foes.
"10 years, huh?" Her coarse, weak voice echoes out. She hadn't spoken in quite some time.
'I can wait for 10 more years...'
