The Heightened Senses could boost the awareness of an awakened to a very high level, also providing a better sensitivity for spirit essence in the surroundings that was almost impossible to see and feel until you have awakened a superior grade core.

Hadeon was in a good mood as he strode through the forest carefully looking for weak prey to hunt.
The temperature around the forest had noticeably increased a lot; the red cactus trees had grown bigger and wider, with more branches spreading from each of them, and the forest had grown much denser.
Hadeon had wrapped the red thick hide of the mole on his head and chest to avoid getting his hair burned.
Because of that, his whole body was now covered by the rendered fat that had melted from the hide, making his skin irritated as viscous oily liquid was slowly crawling from head to bottom continuously.
Hadeon smelled like charred steak as if he had just come out of a barbecue grill.
It wasn’t the best thing to wear while exploring a burning forest! But that’s the only way he could protect his hair and skin from the burns.
He sighed.
’At least I got this juicy meat to eat,’ Hadeon added as he took a large bite out of the roasted leg of the mole that he had cooked using his flames.
’So good!’
He swallowed it quickly, almost choking as he pushed it down in one
breath.
"Why do these vicious bastards taste this good?" Hadeon wondered as he finished the last piece of meat he had harvested three days ago.
He really loved eating their meat, maybe because they had once tried killing and eating Hadeon, and now he was the one eating them. It gave him a twisted sense of pleasure. Or maybe the meat of those moles was really that good?!
Hadeon didn’t care much about why he liked the meat so much. He was looking for other animals to hunt, as in the three-day patrol he hadn’t seen a single creature.
He needed to reach level ten as soon as possible. He was missing the lousy system a little bit.
The feminine voice hadn’t answered his calls since he had left the ash wastelands.
She had told his Master last time that she had to prepare for a new glitch, and for its use, Hadeon must reach level ten first.
Hadeon wasn’t sure what the next glitch would be, but he knew it would help him become stronger much faster.
And Hadeon still needed some answers from her— her origin and why she chose him.
*Thud*
Hadeon quickly dismissed his thoughts as a faint sound entered his ear, even lower than a whisper.
Thanks to his heightened senses, he was able to catch it.
Before he knew it, he heard another sound coming from the side as if someone had stomped their feet on the ground.
He carefully placed his hands on the red cracked ground as he felt a vibration coming from the north of the forest.
After pondering for a while, he hastened his pace as he shot through the Cacti forest, jumping across the deep fiery chasms like a deer galloping through grassland.
’My speed and control over my body has sure improved a lot!’
Hadeon laughed, seeing himself run through all obstacles, weaving through the crimson flames and sharp thorny trunks of cactus, even when he wasn’t at his peak condition.
The intensity and loudness of the sound had increased a lot. If he was right, the source of sound might not be very far away as he lowered his speed and strode carefully. His eyes locked into the far-away lands, dust and smoke rising slowly from the ground, filling the surroundings.
He could hear the cries of a beast and the sound of flame explosions.
"A human is fighting! Looks like I am getting blood on my hands today." Hadeon said excitedly as he saw a silhouette of a humanoid creature and a giant beast in the dust fighting each other.
’I should just look from afar. I don’t think they need help yet; whoever that is, he looks strong!’ He thought.
After thinking, Hadeon finally decided to just wait and watch the battle from the side.
’I might first get a hold of the person’s ability first.’ He added.
Hadeon remembered people getting mad seeing anyone near their prey while hunting.
