The morning of day two.

In the crisp mountain air, the students all took off running at once.

Takuma Kunimi ran steadily and silently.

Karen was right beside him.

"Kunimi! Don't slow down!"

"...Got it."

Behind them came the cheers of the heroines.

"Go, Kunimi!!"

"Takuma! Look over here!!"

"You can do it! ♡"

But—

Takuma never looked back.

He simply kept running.

(...This is practice. I need to stay focused.)

The morning training session consisted of sparring matches.

Sweat dripping from his face, Takuma stared seriously at his opponent.

"...Hah!"

"Whoa!" This chapter is updated first at g.com.

Neither side gave an inch as kicks and strikes flew back and forth.

Even the girls watching from the sidelines found themselves holding their breath.

"Takuma's amazing! He's so coo—!"

"Whoa... He's seriously not looking at anything except the match."

"The fact that he won't even look over here is somehow making my heart race even more. ♡"

No matter how much they waved from the spectator seats— no matter how loudly they called his name—

Takuma remained completely focused on training from beginning to end.

The afternoon session eventually came to an end.

It was time to pack up and head home.

Takuma changed out of his dobok and let out a long breath.

"Phew... That was a good training camp."

He stretched his shoulders.

"I feel like I got stronger."

Mikiko immediately stepped forward.

"Hey, before we go home, let's stop somewhere! We can get ice cream!"

Karen raised her hand.

"Let's hit a hot spring! It'll help with the soreness!"

Urara smiled brightly.

"We've still got some fireworks left. Wanna watch them together? ♡"

"Come on, let's at least check out some of the tourist spots while we're here."

The girls unleashed everything they had.

However—

Takuma thought about it for a moment.

"...Nah. I'm going home. I wanna start recovering as soon as possible."

"WHAAAAAAAAAT?!"

Karen stared at him.

"Dude... At this point, being able to reject every single event they throw at you is actually impressive."

Mikiko sighed.

"You're seriously hopeless..."

Takuma climbed onto the bus.

Through the window, he could see the heroines standing there in stunned silence.

He leaned back in his seat.

(...Training camp is for training.)

(It's not a vacation.)

And with that—

Mr. Oblivious himself had accomplished the impossible.

He had somehow made it through an entire two-day, one-night training camp— without triggering a single youthful romantic event.
