Chapter 11: Wow, His Situation is Terrible!

I Woke Up and What Do You Mean “Wishes”? Are You Saying I’m a Genie?!

I am pulled out, and the first thing I see is a ruin filled with treasure. I look down, and the condition of the person who summoned me is horrendous. Wow, his situation is terrible! He is zombified, unable to even stand, and in the background, I can hear zombie noises that sound exactly like something out of a horror movie.

Just like in the previous situation, I begin to recite my dialogue: "I am the powerful Genie of the lamp, Mir—"

But he interrupts me, speaking so fast that I can barely keep up; it feels like he is talking at twice the normal speed. "My first wish is to be saved from the zombification, have my wounds healed, and be teleported near the new capital of this country!"

Without fully processing it, I snap my fingers and end up granting his wish. As I already expected, the lamp's compulsion to fulfill requests is just too strong. Since wish magic depends heavily on a powerful intent, it becomes impossible for me not to obey, even without properly processing the words.

In the blink of an eye, we end up near a city. It seems that after having his wish granted, he feels much better; he stretches out and lies down on the ground, relieved.

Forced by the lamp's will, I am obliged to ask: "What would be your second wish?"

He thinks for a brief moment and replies: "A magic bag containing twice the amount of treasure from that vault!"

I recall that absurd amount of wealth from before. Even though the place was in ruins, the sum was already unbelievable. Double that? You could live off that for a long time, even longer than an entire human lifespan.

I snap my fingers, and a leather bag appears on the ground. It doesn't look big from the outside, but when the youth looks inside, it turns out to be practically overflowing with gold. Does it work like those spatial expansion bags from fantasy stories or isekai, where you can store a massive amount of items? Well, I'm not curious enough to ask that in the middle of our conversation.

"What would be your last wish?"

He answers immediately: "I wish for advanced knowledge in multiple fields!"

I snap my fingers, and out of nowhere, the youth begins to scream, pressing his hands against his head, seemingly in excruciating pain. He stays collapsed there for a solid ten minutes. Apparently, I am forced to witness the process until the wish is fully concluded. After a while, he finally begins to calm down and catch his breath. My task fulfilled, I return to the interior of the lamp.
