Part 1: The Meathead Debrief
The dust cleared, leaving the forest clearing thick with the sharp tang of ozone, pulverized rock, and burnt loam.
Genta and Ibuki collapsed flat onto their backs in the crushed ferns, their broad chests heaving, completely drenched in sweat. Ibuki was tenderly nursing a swollen jaw and a bloody lip where the berserk kobold's club strike had rattled his skull against the granite wall.
I walked over with my wives, resting the [Heartwood Spine] casually across my shoulder and looking down at the two panting athletes with an amused, deadpan smirk.
"Not bad for your first real wilderness brawl," I nodded. "Decent coordination on the flanks. But your situational awareness needs serious work. When you've got a lethal advantage, you put the target down fast. Don't stand around posing for an imaginary crowd. High-tier monsters get massive emergency stat multipliers when their health dips into frenzy—which is exactly how that beast bypassed Ibuki's paralysis."
Before the boys could spiral into tactical guilt, Eve stepped gracefully from my side.
Her bronze marriage ring flared with a radiant, celestial golden glow. Raising her white star-wood staff, she whispered a soft, melodic incantation over their bruised frames:
🌟 [SPELLCAST: MASS HEAL (LV. 5)]Caster: Sol EveTargets: Genta & Ibuki✨ Vitals fully restored. Facial fractures, contusions, and soft-tissue trauma regenerated.
A soothing wave of golden, starlight-infused warmth washed over the two athletes. The ugly purple contusions on Ibuki's face faded instantly, the split on his lip sealed without leaving a trace of a scar, and both of their health bars slammed back to a glowing green 100%.
"Holy crap..." Genta breathed, rotating his shoulder in pure awe. "Eve, you're an angel. Literally."
"Thank you, Eve!" Ibuki sighed in profound relief.
I crossed my arms, staring down at the pair with a dry, unyielding glare.
"Glad you're fixed up. Now... quick question for the two resident meatheads: did both of you somehow completely forget about the five high-tier [God Potions] I literally shoved into your pockets thirty minutes ago in the kitchen?!"
Genta and Ibuki froze solid.
Slowly, mechanically, they turned their heads toward each other. For three full seconds, their brains visibly rebooted—and then both boys slammed their palms flat against their own foreheads in pure, synchronized stupidity.
"FUCK!" Genta groaned. "I had them right in my side pouch!"
"I forgot I even had an inventory!" Ibuki howled, clutching his hair in absolute mortification.
I burst out laughing, shaking my head. "Idiots. Just remember to pop them next time before your ribs get turned into kindling. And Genta—watch that Blood Aura skill. That health-drain mechanic hits like a runaway truck. You don't spam that without a dedicated healer anchoring your life bar."
Genta rubbed the back of his neck with a sheepish grin. "Got it, boss."
Part 2: The Edge of the Domain
We gathered the class and pushed deeper into the primeval trees, heading due west. The forest fell remarkably quiet. Other than those two Abyssal Kobolds, not a single hostile crossed our path for the next mile.
"Makes sense," I murmured, my boots splashing through shallow moss as the distant roar of rushing water grew steadily louder ahead. "We’re still technically walking inside my backyard."
Genta and Ibuki jogged up to my flank, confused. "Your backyard? What do you mean, Yuki?"
I stopped at the edge of the tree line, gesturing broadly across our path.
"Everything behind us—the cave, the trail, and that clearing where you fought the kobolds—falls entirely inside my [Alpha of the Area] territory grid. Within that zone, every single one of my allies gets a flat +100% boost to all stats, while encroaching hostiles suffer a crushing -100% suppression penalty. That's the only reason those Level 920 beasts felt like manageable mini-bosses to you."
I pointed a finger across the wide, roaring river cutting through the valley before us. On the opposite bank, the forest loomed darker, ancient, and completely uncharted.
"Past that water is the boundary line," I warned, my tone sharpening into absolute seriousness. "Once we cross that river, my domain ends. We'll be fighting raw, uncompressed wilderness monsters without training wheels."
FLASH.
Emerald light flared from my staff. Rena’s spirit manifested partially over my shoulder, her long elven ears twitching as she surveyed the distant ridge.
"Yuki is right," Rena briefed the listening class, her voice dead serious. "Past this river, we enter the true frontier wild. That territory belongs to regional Goblin Kings and high-tier Orc raiding clans. There is also an ancient legend of a rare, phantom-class [Mythril Boar Boss] that stalks the southern coordinates."
Her emerald eyes sparkled with playful excitement as she glanced down at me.
"It’s exceptionally lethal for an un-leveled vanguard... but it drops SS-Grade Mythic Meat, Divine Furs, and guaranteed rare daily-life crafting blueprints. I know how much your crafter's heart is itching for those, Yuki."
I let out a low, predatory whistle, cracking my knuckles. "Mythic meat and production blueprints? Yeah. We’re definitely hunting that pig."
Part 3: Crossing the Threshold
We called a brief tactical halt at the riverbank. I gathered my core council—Ridley, Shizuku, Eve, and Rena.
"Do we hug this bank south, or cross right here?" I asked.
Ridley adjusted her spatial pouch, her sharp student council eyes mapping the terrain across the water with cool precision.
"We cross here," Ridley stated with clear authority. "The western bank has far sparser underbrush. Visibility is wider, our defensive box will be easier to maintain, and the class won't get separated if we take a sudden ambush from the treeline."
Shizuku nodded, resting her hands on her hips. "Agreed. Sparser brush gives my Ice Domain better sightlines to slow incoming projectiles."
"Safest route for the students," Eve chimed in, gripping her white staff.
"Cross it is," I smiled, thoroughly impressed by their seamless coordination.
Before we mobilized, I stepped between Shizuku and Eve. Grinning with unbothered alpha confidence, I slid my arms around their waists, letting my hands rest firmly against their hips to deliver a warm, lingering squeeze that made both girls flush pink and lean into my sides.
We took twenty minutes to harvest the immediate bank.
Putting their new Legendary spears, bows, and knives to work, the students hauled in dozens of massive, shimmering river fish and harvested a dense cluster of glowing mana mushrooms along the rocks, packing the bounty safely into their spatial bags.
With provisions secured, we forded the river.
Stepping onto the western bank, a subtle, cold shiver rippled across my skin. The golden-iron hum of my territory faded away.
We were officially off the grid.
Part 4: The Softness of Love
I fell back to the rear of the marching column, keeping my cosmic lenses dialed in to sweep our backtrail for tracking signatures.
A minute later, soft, hesitant footsteps slowed down beside my pace.
I looked over. It was Hifumi, our class's other student council vice representative.
She was clutching the hem of her travel shirt, her head ducked low, her cheeks burning crimson. For a long moment, she walked beside me in complete silence, nervously fidgeting with her fingers before she suddenly reached out, desperately grabbing onto my hand.
Her grip was tight, her palm warm and trembling.
She looked up into my cosmic eyes. Her voice barely carried over the rustling leaves, thick with raw, quivering vulnerability.
"Y-Yuki... I really, really like you," Hifumi whispered, her heart visibly hammering against her ribs. "Can I... can I please be with you, too? Can I join your family?"
I slowed our pace, shifting my fingers to interlock firmly with hers. Keeping my eyes sweeping the trees, I looked down at her soft, flushed face.
"Are you sure, Hifumi?" I asked quietly. "This isn't a game. Once you take my ring, you're bound to me forever."
A nervous, breathtaking smile broke through her anxiety. She nodded with fierce, unyielding resolve.
"I’m sure! I've... I've always liked you, Yuki," she confessed, tears pricking her eyelashes. "Even back on Earth, I watched you every day from across the room. I wanted to talk to you so badly... but I was always too shy to walk up to your desk. And... and I was terrified you'd never like a girl like me..."
I tilted my head, genuinely curious. "Why would I ever think that?"
Hifumi bit her lower lip, ducking her head in mortified shame. "B-Because... because of my body! I don't have a sculpted athletic build like Rika, and I'm not a stunning model like Eve or Shizuku... I’ve got this soft, pudgy little belly..."
I stopped dead in the center of the dirt path.
I looked at her trembling shoulders, letting out a soft, thoroughly amused chuckle.
"You really thought I’d judge a girl on that?"
Before she could stammer out an apology, I reached out with my free hand. Through the thin fabric of her travel shirt, my warm fingers playfully, gently poked the soft, delicate swell of her tummy.
Hifumi squeaked, her entire body jumping as if shocked by static.
I didn't pull away. I slid my palm flat against her stomach, smoothing my warm hand over her soft waistline with an appreciative, masculine grin. Thanks to [Sensory Sensitivity (Lv. 1)], the contrast of her plush, feminine softness compared to the athletic girls was incredibly grounding and intoxicating.
"Listen to me, Hifumi," I murmured, my voice dropping into a deep, commanding register. "This belly isn't fat. Not even close. These are incredibly soft, feminine, and insanely sexy curves. I love every single inch of it."
Hifumi completely short-circuited.
Her face went so violently red I thought she might faint on the spot. Her breath hitched in her throat as she stared at me with wide, disbelieving eyes, completely overwhelmed by my unapologetic acceptance.
I didn't give her time to overthink.
I hooked my arm firmly around her waist, hauling her soft, trembling body completely flush against my chest. With my other hand, I brushed a stray lock of hair from her eyes, tilted her chin upward, and claimed her lips in a deep, breathless, and intensely passionate kiss right there in the middle of the trail.
SHIIIIING!
The second our lips met, our souls locked.
A blinding cascade of iridescent, prismatic mana detonated from our joined hands, lighting up the forest canopy like a miniature sun!
Up ahead, the entire marching column gasped, spinning around in stunned silence to watch the spectacle.
A swirl of radiant, rainbow starlight coalesced around Hifumi's left ring finger. The energy crystallized into a heavy, magnificent solid gold band, crowned with a glowing, iridescent Rainbow Opal.
Simultaneously, a matching Rainbow Opal shot across the light, locking into the fifth open socket of my master band with a resonant, metallic CLACK.

Before we could even part for air, a rush of light swept across the path.
My eight wives came sprinting back to the rear of the column, encircling us with beaming, tearful smiles.
Rena's emerald, Ridley's sapphire, Shizuku's ruby, Lilica's Mithril-Eye, Eve's bronze, Rika's moonstone, Jamie's tanzanite, and Meko's white topaz flared simultaneously in a blinding, synchronized pulse through our household link.
A massive wave of pure warmth, unconditional love, and absolute security flooded through the connection, washing away the very last of Hifumi's lingering insecurities and welcoming her into our unbreakable family.
I broke the kiss with a breathy smile, resting my forehead against hers as she clung to my shirt, weeping happy, overwhelmed tears.
"Welcome home, Hifumi," I murmured, gently squeezing her soft waist. "You're ours now."
