Chapter 7: The First Ripple of [Magnetic Allure]

Immortal World : MILF Dual Cultivation

The Boundary Wall loomed ahead like an impenetrable fortress of white jade and reinforced steel, exactly as imposing up close as it had looked from a distance.

Lin Tian walked the paved road toward the checkpoint, his windbreaker flapping in the toxic breeze. Dried blood still stained the hem from last night, but his posture had nothing in common with the hunched, defeated scavengers shuffling around him.

Back straight. Eyes cold, already cataloging every guard position like a man debugging an unfamiliar server network.

His destination was the Task Hall — the only place a bottom-rung disciple could legally acquire resources. But first, he had to get past the gate.

As he neared the checkpoint, the crowd shifted. Male scavengers thinned out, replaced by higher-ranking outer disciples and sect guards.

True to the System’s earlier analysis, the matriarchal weight of this world showed clearest right here. The patrols guarding the inner gates were almost entirely mature, formidable women, sleek crimson-lined armor tracing curves that did nothing to soften how deadly they looked.

He kept his head level, alert.

Back on Earth, he’d been the kind of man who vanished into any room he entered. Dressed in literal trash, he expected nothing here but disgust.

A faint hum stirred at the back of his mind.

[System Notification: Entering high-density target zone.]

[Passive Ability: [Magnetic Allure] - Stage 1 is fully active.]

[Scanning vicinity for compatible targets (Age 30+)... Multiple targets identified.]

An invisible wave of dense, scorching Yang energy pulsed out from his core. Not a physical force — a localized aura that reshaped the air itself within ten meters.

His skin warmed. The air around him thickened, carrying a masculine gravity that made no logical sense for a malnourished eighteen-year-old.

A cluster of older female disciples near the gate stopped mid-conversation.

Their arrogant expressions faltered, one by one, heads turning as if pulled by something none of them could name.

He kept his composure, heart hammering. *Is the System really this potent?*

Torn clothes, ground-in grime — none of it should have mattered to women who normally looked through scavengers like empty air. They were looking at him now like he’d walked in wearing something else entirely.

A Guard Captain stepped forward to block his path, crimson armor gleaming, a long sword strapped at her waist. Early thirties. Stern scowl already in place.

"Halt. Outer Sect boundaries." Her voice was sharp, uncompromising. "State your business, scavenger."

"I’m an Outer Disciple, heading to the Task Hall." No tremor in his voice — none of the fear lower-ranked disciples usually carried into this checkpoint.

He stepped half a pace closer to hand over his battered ID token. The moment he crossed into her space, the [Magnetic Allure] hit her like a tidal wave.

Her breath caught, audible even over the wind. The scowl dissolved into something closer to confusion.

She inhaled without meaning to, nostrils flaring as the scent of pure Yang energy bypassed whatever discipline she’d built over a decade in that armor.

For a woman running cold Yin-based cultivation, isolated for years in a role that demanded she trust no one — this scent hit like something she’d forgotten she was starving for.

[Target: Guard Captain Liang | Age: 35 | Cultivation: Qi Gathering Level 4]

[Aura Effect: Active. Target is experiencing extreme sensory intoxication.]

"The... the Task Hall?" Her voice dropped an octave, softening into something husky. Her eyes drifted over his jawline, lingering there longer than protocol allowed.

"Yes. Could you point me in the right direction?" He kept it simple, testing the edges of what this thing could actually do.

Back on Earth, he couldn’t hold eye contact with a cashier long enough to finish a transaction. Here, armed with a System built for exactly this purpose, he felt like something circling prey that didn’t yet know it was prey.

"It’s... it’s just down the main pavilion road." Her professional bearing had already cracked. In some half-conscious attempt to close the distance between them, she reached out to guide him.

Her armored fingers brushed his bare wrist.

The contact sent a jolt of heat straight up her arm. She gasped, soft and stifled, yanking her hand back like she’d touched a live current.

A deep flush spread across her face — a Qi Gathering Level 4 veteran, reduced in half a second to something closer to a flustered girl.

"T-take the left path at the second courtyard." She couldn’t hold his gaze anymore, chest rising a fraction faster under the armor. "Stay safe, Disciple."

"Thank you, Captain." He let his voice sit low, deliberate.

He walked past the checkpoint, leaving her and the staring cluster of disciples behind him. Once he was out of earshot, a thrilling grin cracked across his dirt-streaked face.

Qi gathering Level 4. She could have ended him with a single clean strike and never broken a sweat doing it.

A passive skill — one he hadn’t even actively triggered — had turned her into a stammering mess just from proximity.

He looked down at his own hands, still grimy, still malnourished. The power sitting dormant beneath that skin had nothing to do with muscle or Qi cultivation.

His greatest weapon wasn’t the wrist-blade hidden under his sleeve.

It was this — the ability to walk into a room full of women who could crush him without effort, and make every single one of them hesitate first.

In a world where power sat almost entirely in female hands, an aura built to unravel exactly that kind of woman wasn’t just useful. It was the single most broken advantage anyone in this sect could possess, and none of them would ever see it coming, because nothing in their training had prepared them to distrust attraction itself.

This is Stage 1. He turned the thought over slowly, testing its weight. If a passive he hadn’t even willed into action could do that to a Level 4 Captain, what happened when he actually tried against someone standing at the true peak of this sect?

He adjusted his torn collar and pushed the thought aside for now — there’d be time to chase that question once he wasn’t standing in a checkpoint line with a target on his back.

The massive double doors of the Outer Sect Task Hall stood open ahead, already busy with disciples filing in and out.

He straightened his spine and walked toward them, a cold, calculating fire settling behind his eyes.

Whatever waited past those doors, he was done showing up to anything in this world empty-handed.
