Chapter 17: Passion (+18)

Infinity: Reborn

Lilith’s restraint shattered. She captured Sera’s lips again, this time with commanding hunger that surprised even herself. Her hands found Sera’s waist, pulling their bodies flush together in the warm water.

“Then feed I shall,” Lilith whispered against Sera’s mouth, the words flowing from her with unexpected authority.

Sera gasped as Lilith’s hands began exploring her body with confident precision. Lilith marvelled at her own boldness—these weren’t Jacob’s hesitant touches but something primal and instinctive. Her fingers traced the curve of Sera’s breasts, thumbs circling nipples that hardened beneath her touch.

“Lady Lilith,” Sera moaned as Lilith’s mouth moved to her neck, trailing kisses down the sensitive skin.

“Just Lilith,” she corrected, her voice a sultry purr she barely recognised. “When we’re like this, I’m just Lilith to you.”

Lilith’s mouth found Sera’s breast, tongue swirling around the nipple before taking it between her lips. She suckled gently, then with increasing pressure as Sera’s breathing quickened. Her hands continued their exploration, sliding down Sera’s stomach to the junction between her thighs.

How do I know exactly what to do? Lilith wondered briefly before the thought dissolved in the heat of desire. Her body seemed to operate on instinct, guided by some ancient knowledge embedded in her succubus form.

Sera’s head fell back, exposing her throat as Lilith’s fingers found her centre. “Oh gods,” she whispered as Lilith began stroking with deliberate patience.

“Look at me,” Lilith commanded, surprising herself with her dominance. When Sera’s eyes met hers, Lilith felt a surge of power that had nothing to do with magic. “I want to see your face when you come apart for me.”

Her fingers moved with increasing urgency, circling Sera’s most sensitive spot before dipping inside. Sera’s hips bucked against her hand, water splashing around them.

“Please,” Sera begged, her voice breaking.

“Please what?” The words left Lilith’s mouth unbidden, teasing and demanding at once.

“Please don’t stop,” Sera gasped, her eyes locked with Lilith’s violet gaze.

Lilith added another finger, curling them forward to find the spot that made Sera cry out. Her thumb continued its circular motion, building Sera’s pleasure with relentless precision.

“That’s it,” Lilith encouraged, watching Sera’s expression transform with approaching climax. “Let go for me.”

Sera’s body tensed, her inner walls clenching around Lilith’s fingers as she cried out. Lilith maintained her rhythm through the waves of pleasure, drawing out Sera’s orgasm until she collapsed forward against Lilith’s chest, breathing heavily.

“By the old gods,” Sera murmured against Lilith’s skin. “That was…”

“We’re just getting started,” Lilith promised, her own need pulsing between her legs.

After allowing Sera a moment to recover, Lilith guided her to the bath’s edge, positioning herself with her back against the smooth stone. She spread her legs invitingly, her blue skin glistening with water and arousal.

“Your turn,” she said, her voice husky with desire.

Sera moved between Lilith’s thighs with reverent determination. Her touch was gentler than Lilith’s had been, more exploratory. She traced the contours of Lilith’s perfect form, hands gliding over her breasts and stomach before venturing lower.

“You’re beautiful,” Sera whispered, leaning forward to press her lips to Lilith’s inner thigh.

Lilith’s wings fluttered involuntarily as Sera’s mouth moved higher. When Sera’s tongue finally made contact with her centre, Lilith gasped, her tail curling reflexively around Sera’s arm.

“Yes,” she hissed, one hand tangling in Sera’s wet hair to guide her. “Just like that.”

Sera’s tongue explored with increasing confidence, circling and flicking before pressing inside. Lilith felt her mana heart pulse with each wave of pleasure, magical energy building within her core alongside physical desire.

This is nothing like before, Lilith thought hazily. Neither Jacob’s experiences with women nor her own solitary explorations had prepared her for this intensity. Every nerve ending seemed hyper-sensitised, responding to Sera’s touch with overwhelming feedback.

As Sera added her fingers to complement her tongue’s movements, Lilith felt herself approaching the edge. Her hips moved of their own accord, seeking more contact, more pressure, more everything.

“Sera,” she moaned, the name a plea and praise combined.

When orgasm claimed her, Lilith’s back arched, water cascading around them as her wings spread wide. Magical energy crackled visibly across her skin, small arcs of violet electricity dancing between her horns.

Before the sensations could fully subside, Lilith pulled Sera up for a passionate kiss, tasting herself on the half-demon’s lips. Desire still burned within her, barely diminished by her release.

“I need more,” Lilith whispered against Sera’s mouth. “I need to feel you against me.”

With fluid grace, Lilith repositioned them, guiding Sera until their legs intertwined, centres pressed together in the warm water. She rolled her hips experimentally, drawing a gasp from both of them as pleasure sparked anew.

“Move with me,” Lilith instructed, establishing a rhythm that Sera quickly matched.

Their bodies rocked together, water sloshing around them as the friction built exquisite tension. Lilith watched Sera’s face, captivated by the play of pleasure across her features. She reached forward, fingers finding Sera’s breasts, pinching and rolling her nipples as their lower bodies maintained their sensuous dance.

“Lilith,” Sera moaned, her movements becoming more urgent. “I’m close again.”

“Together,” Lilith demanded, her own pleasure spiralling toward release. “Look at me while we come.”

Their eyes locked as their movements became frantic, desperate. When climax claimed them simultaneously, Lilith felt something new awaken within her—a hunger deeper than physical desire. Without conscious thought, she reached for Sera’s life essence, drawing it into herself through their connected bodies.

Energy flowed between them, visible as faint luminous threads connecting their hearts. The sensation was indescribable—pleasure multiplied exponentially as Sera’s vitality poured into Lilith, feeding her demonic nature. Lilith’s mana heart expanded, absorbing the energy with insatiable greed.

Too much, a distant part of Lilith’s mind warned. You’ll kill her.

With tremendous effort, Lilith severed the connection, cutting off the flow of energy before it could drain Sera completely. The abrupt cessation left both women gasping, clinging to each other in the cooling water.

“What… was that?” Sera asked weakly, her body trembling against Lilith’s.

Lilith held Sera close, supporting her as the half-demon’s strength ebbed. “I fed from you,” she admitted, shame and satisfaction warring within her. “I’m sorry—I didn’t mean to take so much.”

“Don’t apologise,” Sera murmured, her voice faint but steady. “It was… incredible. I’ve never felt anything like it.”

Lilith helped Sera to the bath’s edge, concern replacing desire as she noted the pallor beneath Sera’s normally vibrant complexion. “Rest,” she instructed, summoning a shadow servant to bring refreshments. “I took too much of your energy.”

Sera smiled weakly. “Worth it.”

As Lilith cradled Sera against her chest, she marvelled at what had just transpired. The feeding had been unlike anything she’d experienced before—not just physically pleasurable but spiritually fulfilling. For those brief moments when their essences had connected, Lilith had felt complete in a way she never had as Jacob.

Yet the ease with which she’d nearly drained Sera frightened her. Her body had known exactly what to do, acting on instinct to satisfy its demonic hunger. If she hadn’t stopped herself…

“Here,” Lilith said, accepting a goblet from the shadow servant and helping Sera drink. “This will help restore your strength.”

Sera sipped the sweet liquid, colour gradually returning to her cheeks. “So that’s how a succubus feeds,” she observed, her voice stronger. “The stories don’t do it justice.”

“I haven’t… it’s been quite…,” Lilith struggled to explain, not wanting to reveal too much about her situation.

“Been a while since you’ve fed?” Sera asked with surprising perceptiveness, her eyes reflecting understanding rather than judgement.

Lilith nodded, relieved at Sera’s interpretation. It was easier than trying to explain the impossible truth about herself.

“Well,” Sera said, a playful smile dancing at her lips despite her weakened state, “I happily volunteer to be your regular meal whenever you need sustenance. Consider me an enthusiastic donor to your continued wellbeing.”

Despite her lingering concern, Lilith couldn’t help but laugh, the sound rich and melodious in the steamy air. “You might want to reconsider that generous offer when you can actually stand again without swaying.”

“I seriously doubt it,” Sera replied, her amber eyes meeting Lilith’s with unmistakable sincerity and a hint of desire that transcended her exhaustion. “I knew exactly what you were when I agreed to this journey, Your Majesty. I just had no idea how exquisite being your sustenance would feel. The stories don’t capture even a fraction of the experience.”

With gentle care, Lilith helped Sera from the bath, wrapping her in plush towels and tenderly drying her skin before effortlessly lifting her into her arms. She carried Sera to a bed the shadow servants had prepared nearby, laying her down with a gentleness that belied her demonic nature.

As Sera drifted toward sleep, her breathing growing deeper and more rhythmic, Lilith sat beside her, watching over her with a storm of conflicted emotions swirling inside.

The feeding had awakened something primal within her—something ancient and hungry that both thrilled and terrified her. This wasn’t just roleplaying a character anymore; she was becoming Lilith in truth, with all the power, desires, and ravenous hunger that entailed. The boundary between Jacob and Lilith was blurring with each passing day.

Vespera Nightingale knelt at the forest clearing, her fingers hovering above dark stains that marred the earth. To untrained eyes, these might appear as mere shadows cast by the afternoon sun filtering through the canopy. To her, they told a different story.

“Blood,” she murmured, her human disguise perfectly maintained despite her growing unease. “Solarian blood.”

The battle had occurred perhaps a day earlier. Five distinct patterns of blood splatter marked the clearing, yet not a single corpse remained. Vespera pressed her palm against the largest stain, closing her eyes to better sense the lingering magical residue.

Power had been unleashed here—significant power. The magical signature left behind spoke of spells far beyond what typical Inquisitors wielded. Whoever these Solarians had faced was no ordinary opponent.

“Seventh circle,” she whispered, genuine surprise colouring her voice. Few beings in this age could cast such powerful magic. Vespera herself knew only a single eighth circle spell—a devastating working that would leave her drained and vulnerable for days afterward.

She rose, circling the clearing methodically. The absence of bodies was telling. Either the victor had been fastidious in removing evidence, or the bodies themselves had been… consumed. The thought sent a chill through her that had nothing to do with the forest’s cool shade.

“Seraphina, what have you gotten yourself into?”

For decades, Vespera had maintained a constant magical connection to her granddaughter through the protective amulet she’d crafted. That connection had vanished yesterday, plunging her into a cold panic she hadn’t felt since finding Seraphina in that Solarian prison.

Then, mere hours ago, a flicker—Seraphina’s magical signature had briefly reappeared, moving rapidly across the landscape. Too rapidly for normal travel. The signature had tracked northwest, directly toward Solarian territory, before vanishing again as suddenly as it had appeared.

“Flying,” Vespera concluded, studying the pattern of magical residue. “Someone transported you through the air.”

But who? And to where? The second disappearance troubled her deeply. Had her captor discovered the tracking enchantment? Was Seraphina being held in some magically shielded location? Or was something else entirely at play?

Vespera moved to the centre of the clearing, where the magical residue was strongest. Kneeling once more, she pressed both palms against the earth and closed her eyes, reaching deeper with her senses.

Beneath the Solarian magic, nearly masked by its brightness, lurked something darker. Something ancient. The magical signature was unlike anything Vespera had encountered in centuries—not since the fall of Nocturne itself.

“Demonic,” she whispered, her perfect human disguise flickering momentarily as shock rippled through her. “High demonic.”

Not the lesser demonic energy of half-breeds like Seraphina, nor the middling power of lesser demons who occasionally slipped through from the Wastelands. This was the magic of the ancient houses, the noble bloodlines that had ruled Nocturne before its fall.

Vespera’s mind raced. Had some ancient demon lord emerged from hiding? Was Seraphina in their clutches? The protection amulet should have activated if Seraphina felt threatened, unless…

Unless Seraphina hadn’t perceived the encounter as a threat.

Rising to her feet, Vespera made her decision. The magical trail, though faded, was still discernible to one of her abilities. It led northwest, toward the Solarian border—the very direction she’d sensed Seraphina moving before her signature vanished again.

“Foolish girl,” she muttered, though the words carried more worry than anger. “What game are you playing?”

Vespera adjusted her travelling cloak, ensuring her human disguise was flawless. The border regions were dangerous even for one as skilled at concealment as herself. Solarian patrols had increased threefold in recent months, their zealotry fuelled by rumours of increased demonic activity in the Wastelands.

If Seraphina had indeed crossed into Solarian territory—willingly or otherwise—Vespera would need all her centuries of cunning to follow safely.

“Hold on, little one,” she whispered to the empty air. “Whatever trouble you’ve found, I’m coming.”

With a last look at the bloodstained clearing, Vespera set off northwest, following the faint trail of demonic magic. After centuries of careful hiding, of preserving what little remained of their heritage while keeping Seraphina safe, Vespera was stepping directly into danger.

But she had little choice. Seraphina was all she had left—the last living reminder of her beloved son. And Vespera would face the entire Solarian Empire alone before abandoning her to whatever power had spirited her away.
