Chapter 11: The Young Master’s Coming of Age Ceremony

Interstellar Game: Becoming The Strongest With A Broken Point System

Arthur stared at the system window in disbelief.

"...System."

"Can you repeat that again?"

DING!

〘The player cannot equip this weapon due to its requirements.〙

〘Requirement One: The wielder must be an Iron Angel.〙

〘Requirement Two: The wielder must possess Transcender-grade or higher potential.〙

Arthur’s eye twitched.

"...Seriously?"

The system continued.

〘Warning.〙

〘Due to the weapon’s current state, direct physical contact by the player poses a significant risk to the player’s life.〙

〘Would the player like to inspect the weapon from within the inventory?〙

Arthur let out a long, frustrated sigh.

"...No."

He dismissed the prompt with a wave of his hand.

"So I get an incredibly rare Named Weapon..."

"...and I can’t even use it?"

He gazed at the improved status window.

Arthur pinched the bridge of his nose.

"What a waste."

After calming himself, Arthur looked toward the final unopened gift box.

"...System."

"Open the Premium Starter Riki Cultivation Gift Box."

DING!

The final gift box dissolved into countless streams of azure light before converging into another system window.

Arthur read its contents.

〘Non-Enhanceable〙

• Low-Grade Riki Absorption Manual ×1

• Common Riki Condensation Pill ×10

• Beginner’s Riki Breathing Technique ×1

• Standard Meditation Cushion ×1

• Minor Riki Recovery Potion ×5

"..."

He let out another sigh.

"...Of course."

Without another word, he dismissed that prompt as well.

Arthur rose from his chair and made his way toward the door.

Whoosh.

The automatic doors slid open.

Standing just outside was a woman clad in white-and-silver Iron Angel armor.

Her long black hair was tied into a neat ponytail that reached the middle of her back, while a pair of deep sapphire-blue eyes calmly watched over the corridor.

She was Seraphina Vale.

Arthur’s personal knight.

His bodyguard.

And the woman who had personally trained him in the sword since he was a child.

She was also the very first person Arthur had seen after awakening in this world.

The moment Seraphina noticed him, she placed a fist over her chest and bowed with a smile.

"Young Master."

"I trust you are looking forward to today’s ceremony."

Arthur smiled.

"How could I not? It’s not every day distinguished ladies from across the galaxy visit a young man with gifts."

His words made Seraphina laugh lightly.

"You are right, but I do believe there is more to look forward to than just the gift presentation."

"This is your opportunity to establish a social circle of your own. After all, many of the young lords present today will be attending the Imperial Academy as well."

Arthur shrugged with a nonchalant expression on his face.

"I doubt much of a social circle would be formed after I turn down all their marriage proposals."

"Nonsense. They won’t be so shallow as to cut off ties simply because you turned them down."

Seraphina smiled knowingly.

"In fact..."

"I dare say it will only encourage some of them to pursue you even more."

Arthur blinked.

"...Seriously?"

She gave a small nod.

"Young Master, those gathered here today are the daughters of Star Lords."

"They were not raised to surrender after a single rejection."

"If anything..."

"A challenge often makes victory seem all the more worthwhile."

Arthur could only let out a soft laugh.

"...Well."

"I suppose that’s one way of looking at it."

He adjusted the cuffs of his ceremonial coat before smiling faintly.

"Then I guess I should look forward to it."

Seraphina returned the smile.

"I have no doubt today’s ceremony will be one you remember for the rest of your life."

Arthur smiled.

He glanced down the corridor before asking,

"Do you happen to know where father and Florain are?"

Seraphina nodded.

"The Master and Young Lord Florain are already in the banquet hall."

"They are assisting Her Ladyship in welcoming the guests who have already arrived."

Arthur nodded.

"I see."

"Then we’d better not keep everyone waiting."

Seraphina stepped aside before gesturing respectfully toward the corridor ahead.

"This way, Young Master."

Arthur gave a small nod and followed behind his personal knight toward the banquet hall, where the coming of age ceremony awaited.
