It was seven days in a flash.
There were a lot of disciples at the training grounds of the Sword Peak Sect.
It would be today that the five representatives who would enter the Ancient Secret Realm would be decided.
The Sect Master came into the arena.
“The rules are simple.”
“Victory is won by those who deserve it; defeat is the end of those who don’t.”
The final 5 will be standing for Sword Peak Sect.
The people were very excited.
Lin Xuan was drawn number 17, Mu Qingxue was drawn number 23.
The first enemies they had were the ordinary outer disciples.
Both wars were of short duration, only three moves each.
Lin Xuan struck out his adversary with just one sword, but not necessarily in the strongest manner, but rather in the most perfect.
Mu Qingxue’s fight was even stealthier.
The crowd was thoroughly amazed.
“When did these two grow to be so powerful?”
High up in the sky, Zhang Sang looked on silently.
“There’s still a lot they haven’t learned.”
The second round proved more difficult.
Lin Xuan’s opponent was a disciple of the Third Peak of the Body Tempering Ninth Layer.
Lin Xuan would eventually find the right moment after dozens of exchanges, and finish off with Flowing Wind Sword, adding to the thunderous applause.
In the meantime, Mu Qingxue faced an inner disciple that was famous for his blazing fire skills.
Fire raged all over the arena, yet she remained cool as she condensed an ice lotus in her hands.
The lotus bloomed.
The fire was extinguished in a flash.
One victory.
Even the elders on the peak jumped up in surprise.
At the end of the day, there were only five disciples left.
Lin Xuan.
Mu Qingxue.
Zhao Tian is the Chief Disciple of First Peak.
The genius of the Second Peak – Luo Chen.
And the Third Peak’s strongest disciple, Han Lei.
The Sect Master smiled with satisfaction.
Henceforth, the five of you will be Sword Peak Sect’s representatives in the Ancient Secret Realm.
Cheers rang out in the arena and Zhang Sang gazed out to the horizon.
Outside the mountains, a huge golden gate began to form between heaven and earth.
This is the Ancient Secret Realm of the Past…
It had finally started to dawn upon him.
