Haruta Shigemo was startled, a look of confusion suddenly crossing his face.

“Wait…

you, you barely have any cursed energy.”Full novel: JJK: Starting with the Dog and Dragon Talismans — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

“Your cursed energy level isn’t even as good as Jujutsu High’s support staff known as Windows.

You’re just a plain old ordinary person, aren’t you?”

That said, because Levi’s grand entrance from the sky just now was so flashy, Haruta Shigemo wasn’t entirely sure.

But he still dropped his act of pretending to be helpless, stood up, brushed the dust off himself, and wore an expression of ‘I guess I have no choice.’

“Fine, I was just ganged up on by a bunch of bastards, and now I’m enjoying the good fortune that let me escape letting me escape that trap.”

As he spoke, Haruta Shigemo picked up his blade and pointed it at Levi, mimicking a punk’s tone with a pout: “Don’t waste my time, you bastard.”

Levi smiled.

“Don’t worry, I won’t waste too much of your time.”

Levi grabbed Haruta Shigemo’s ponytail and dragged him toward the battlefield where the two Sukunas were.

By now, their battle was likely nearing its end.

As for why he was heading to Sukuna’s battlefield, it was naturally because Levi needed to prevent a sneak attack from a passing Mahito, since he himself couldn’t see cursed spirits.

Given Sukuna’s personality, it was impossible for him to cooperate with anyone, including cursed spirits.

It was hilarious; the guy would even fight himself.

Furthermore, Sukuna looked down on Mahito quite a bit.

If Mahito dared to appear before Sukuna, he’d be destined to be sliced apart instantly.

Meanwhile, Sukuna couldn’t do anything to Levi.

Talk about a game of rock-paper-scissors.

While Levi was lost in thought, the sound of crying and begging for mercy came from behind him.

“It hurts, it hurts!”

“I’m sorry, please let me go!

I know killing people is wrong, ugh…”

“Please let me go!

I’ve realized my mistake!”

Haruta Shigemo apologized with tears and snot streaming down his face, squirming incessantly on the ground.

The reason Levi could drag him by the hair was, of course, because his limbs had been completely incinerated by Levi.

The wounds at the stumps were sealed by carbonized flesh, preventing continuous blood loss.

After all, Levi didn’t have cursed energy.

Dealing with a curse user who could reinforce their body with cursed energy, he had no other way to restrain the opponent.

So he simply burned off all four limbs.

Since Levi also had the base physical strength stacked from the other Levis, he was much stronger than an ordinary person, so lugging him around wasn’t much of a struggle.

Haruta Shigemo was still wailing.

While Levi tried to sense the cursed energy in his own body, he found the time to chat with Haruta.

“What exactly are you apologizing for?

You don’t actually think that just because you apologize and say you’ll change your ways, others have any obligation to forgive you, do you?”

“To be able to make apologizing and begging so practiced, just how many times have you successfully begged for your life?

Your luck is just too good, isn’t it?”

“Besides, I’m not from Jujutsu High.

Whether you kill them or not has nothing to do with me.

No need to apologize to me.”

Haruta Shigemo was in so much pain that tears and snot flowed: “You…

what on earth do you want me to do?”

Levi kept moving forward, using Haruta Shigemo to mop the floor, and looked back slightly with a smile: “You’re lucky.

Your cursed technique is very useful to me.”

“So don’t worry, I won’t kill you.

See how lucky you are?

Why not accumulate a bit more luck value?”

Haruta Shigemo was in a trance, speaking with a sob: “What are you even talking about…”

Haruta didn’t understand his own cursed technique either; he only had a vague feeling about it.

Coupled with the intense pain, it was difficult for him to grasp Levi’s words.

At that moment, Levi suddenly heard a sound and said to Haruta, “Shut up for a second.”

Haruta Shigemo didn’t react at first and kept crying until Levi gave him a kick, only then settling down.

Levi walked to a corner and peeked around, discovering a group of people fighting just ahead.

More accurately, it was three people battling what looked, to Levi, like empty air.

There was Maki Zenin, wearing glasses and a ponytail, attacking with a naginata.

An old man who was so fast he was almost just a blur, Naobito Zenin.

And Kento Nanami, wearing a suit vest and holding a blunt sword.

Levi remembered that in the original story, these three were supposed to fight the ocean cursed spirit Dagon first.

During the fight, Toji Fushiguro would run out and take Dagon’s head.

After leaving Dagon’s domain, they would encounter the volcano cursed spirit Jogo and end up being instantly killed and taken out by a single move.

But now, they seemed to be just fighting ordinary low-level cursed spirits.

It must be that his battle with Uraume and Sukuna had changed the direction of the original plot.

Maki Zenin slashed at something again.

As she pulled back her naginata, Levi could almost mentally reconstruct the cursed spirit’s flesh being carved based on the resistance and rhythm of her movements.

Levi let out a helpless sigh.

Without awakening cursed energy, he naturally couldn’t see cursed spirits.

Just now, he had held onto a sliver of hope, thinking he might have already awakened and just couldn’t control it yet.

As expected, things weren’t that simple.

He had been too optimistic.

Fortunately, he had kept Haruta Shigemo.

He really needed something like ‘luck’ right now.

And the fact that he could think of this and spare Haruta’s life should also be considered a part of Haruta’s luck.

Levi looked back at Haruta Shigemo and found that the marks from his cursed technique hadn’t appeared on his face yet.

It seemed the accumulated luck wasn’t enough.

Finally, after a few more exchanges, Maki Zenin withdrew her naginata, seemingly shaking off the bloodstains, and stopped attacking the air.

Presumably, the cursed spirits had all been killed.

Naobito Zenin stopped his movements, stroked his pointed beard, and yawned.

“Maki, you’re really slow.

Your efficiency is too low.

You should just hurry up and go home.”

“Shut up, you old geezer.

I’m more useful than you.”

Maki Zenin snapped back at Naobito.

Just then, Kento Nanami suddenly turned his head toward Levi’s direction, frowning slightly: “Who’s there?”

Hearing this, Maki immediately picked up her naginata and assumed a cautious stance.

Naobito Zenin glanced at Levi and immediately started mocking Maki.

“Heh heh heh, Maki, didn’t you see that Mr.

Nanami didn’t even pick up his blade?

This is clearly an ordinary person.

The cursed energy on him is pitifully low, just like yours.”

Hearing this, Maki’s brow relaxed slightly.

She didn’t pay any mind to Naobito’s sharp tongue and just rubbed her forehead with a bit of a headache.

She wasn’t good at comforting panicked ordinary people.

Maki rested the naginata on her shoulder: “Hey, you there.

The Curtain that was blocking civilians has already disappeared.

Leave this place quickly before you get dragged into any major trouble.”

Levi, however, stroked his chin as he looked at Maki’s red-rimmed glasses and asked, “Excuse me, could I borrow your glasses?

I can’t see cursed spirits.”

“Hmm?”

Maki touched her glasses in surprise.

Naobito gave a drunken burp and laughed loudly: “How clever.

As soon as I said you didn’t have cursed energy either, he realized you use those glasses to see cursed spirits?”

Maki looked at Naobito irritably: “It’s obviously not that, right?

He at least knows the term ‘cursed spirit.’ He’s probably been in contact with other jujutsu sorcerers and found out information about me.”

She then looked at Levi and said with some impatience, “It’s useless for an ordinary person to see cursed spirits.

Just find a place to hide.”

“I’m sorry, but I can’t save everyone.”

However, as Levi fully emerged from the corner, the group finally saw that he was actually carrying a human whose limbs were carbonized.

All three of their expressions changed, and they became alert once more.

But Naobito Zenin soon let out a surprised sound: “Eh?

Isn’t that the lucky curse user from earlier?”

“Just as we were about to deal with him, a swarm of cursed spirits gushed out and separated us.

I even said he managed to escape with his life.”

“Was it you who did this, kid?”
