Holy hell, how can a body that’s already been incarnated serve as a vessel for a second person?

Then again, maybe it doesn’t count as a second person.

After all, Uraume just died, so this is just a seamless transition.Full novel: JJK: Starting with the Dog and Dragon Talismans — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Then, Levi saw layers of woven frost draping over Sukuna’s body.

Just like Uraume before, he had adorned himself in a white ice-woven kimono.

Levi stroked his chin, falling into thought.

Sukuna could actually use Uraume’s technique now?

It wasn’t strange for an incarnated vessel to use the techniques inherent to the body itself; that was how Sukuna obtained Megumi Fushiguro’s ‘Ten Shadows Technique’.

But obtaining the technique of the previous incarnated vessel was something that had never been demonstrated in the original story.

As for Yuji Itadori, because Sukuna had occupied his body for a long enough time, Yuji eventually gained Sukuna’s technique, ‘Shrine’.

By the same logic, Uraume had occupied this body long enough for the body to acquire ‘Ice Formation’, which allowed the subsequent Sukuna to possess Uraume’s technique as well.

“Now you two really will be together forever.”

Levi couldn’t help but say it.

Yuji was still looking up warily, watching Ryomen Sukuna, who had just broken free from the seal of his own flesh.

Hearing Levi’s words, he turned his head toward him in shock.

Because Levi had changed the plot, Sukuna had not yet opened his domain to turn all of Shibuya into powder and cause tens of thousands of casualties.

Therefore, Yuji didn’t hate Sukuna as much as he did in the original story yet.

And since he was naturally the type to care about others’ feelings, hearing Levi’s words, he even felt a bit of sympathy for Sukuna.

For a thousand-year-old man who had just lost a close companion and was forced to occupy their body, wasn’t this a bit too aggressive?

“Dismantle.”

Sukuna didn’t waste any more words.

With a cold expression, he pressed his fingers together and released a slash at Levi’s leg.

Yuji tried to warn Levi, shouting, “Get out of the way!”

But by the time he shouted, the slash had already landed on Levi.

A hole appeared in his pants, and then nothing happened.

“Hey, Yuji Itadori.”

Levi looked at Yuji.

Yuji was stunned.

“You…

you know me?”

“In a way.

My name is Levi.”

Levi said vaguely, “You should run.

Now that Sukuna has left your body and Satoru Gojo is sealed, go find your companions and escape together.”

“Sukuna’s hatred is all on me right now.

You guys be careful, don’t let some other cursed spirit pick you off.”

Yuji really wanted to refuse, but thinking of the others from Jujutsu High, he bit his lip and realized he couldn’t be stubborn, or he’d risk everyone else’s safety.

“Then, Levi…

be careful.”

Ignoring Yuji as he ran into the distance, Sukuna stroked his chin, looking at Levi with curiosity.

“Is your body hard enough to withstand a slash?”

“No, it’s more like the slash was simply ineffective.”

His figure flickered, appearing right in front of Levi.

Placing his palm against Levi’s chest, he whispered, “Cleave.”

Sukuna’s technique, [Shrine], possesses both slashing and fire attributes.

And Sukuna, the master of binding vows, divided his slashes into two types.

One is ‘Dismantle’, which can be fired instantly and repeatedly from a distance.

The other is ‘Cleave’, which can only be used at close range and adjusts its power based on the difference in cursed energy between the user and the target.

But at this moment, ‘Cleave’ remained silent on Levi’s body, causing no reaction whatsoever.

Levi, however, took the opportunity to throw a punch at Sukuna’s chest.

This punch was easily blocked by Sukuna reaching out his hand.

But Sukuna frowned.

“Your fist is as weak as an insect’s.”

“Where is your cursed energy?

How did someone as weak as you manage to kill Uraume?”

Levi gave Sukuna a brilliant smile.

Then, the part where his fist met Sukuna’s palm suddenly exploded.

Because he hadn’t felt any trace of Levi mobilizing cursed energy beforehand, it seemed to Sukuna like an instant-cast technique, causing him to be blown back without defense.

But when the smoke cleared, Levi couldn’t see Sukuna anywhere.

Until words came from a streetlamp by the road.

“I see.

You have no cursed energy?”

The white-haired Sukuna sat on the streetlamp, looking intrigued.

“No cursed energy, a body as fragile as an ordinary maggot, yet immune to all damage and capable of utilizing fire techniques.”

“A Heavenly Restriction?

You traded your cursed energy for a body that cannot be breached under a certain threshold of attack, and a technique that doesn’t require cursed energy to activate?”

“Very well.

It seems killing you won’t be boring after all.”

Levi reached out toward Sukuna, flames erupting from his palm.

However, Sukuna had already vanished from the spot.

“Without the enhancement of cursed energy, your movements are as slow as a snail.

I could take a nap before you even hit me.”

Sukuna appeared behind Levi, then vanished again, dodging the fiery fist Levi threw as he turned around.

The next moment, before Levi could see anything clearly, his body was sent flying.

His head smashed through something, and then something else.

Levi could only see the afterimages of reinforced concrete flashing past his eyes.

His body successively smashed through the walls of buildings and several reinforced concrete support pillars, only stopping at the third building.

Levi clutched his head and sat up from the ruins.

“It doesn’t hurt.”

Actually, it hurt a little.

After all, the Dog Talisman could eliminate all effects of lethal attacks on the body, but the sensation of non-lethal attacks was still preserved.

Levi brushed the rubble off his head and looked in the direction he had come from.

He saw that the walls of the three buildings had clear, human-shaped holes left in them, just like in a cartoon.

Sukuna stood in place, watching the Levi he had sent flying, confirming the feeling.

At the point of contact, it felt just like a normal human.

A sickening fragility, like crushing a soft bug.

But when the full force entered the man’s body, he was merely sent flying, without a single wound on him.

He still didn’t understand the mechanism of the other’s Heavenly Restriction.

“Fine then.

Let me see exactly how much damage you can withstand.”

Sukuna stood in place, his hands forming the Enmaten Hand Seal, and said calmly.

“Domain Expansion: Malevolent Shrine.”

An immense tide of cursed energy surged in every direction.

Cursed energy clung to the very space itself, turning everything it touched into a domain.

Layers of bleached bones rose from the ground, and an invisible atmosphere spread and stretched endlessly.

Everyone with cursed energy felt the same thing at this moment.

This place had become a slaughterhouse.

“Vrrr—!”

The earth groaned and the sky trembled as an ancient shrine radiating the aura of death and decay rose from the ground.

Countless white bones climbed up it, and Sukuna stood amidst the bones, like the herald of death descending upon the mortal world.

Sukuna looked down at Levi, the gaze beneath his white eyelashes icy.

“As an appetizer, let’s start with a thousand cuts.”
