“Five points added.”

Gen kicked away the “Cursed Tool” at his feet and walked out of the alley without the slightest change in expression.

The man had started running the moment he saw Gen.

After wondering about it for a while, Gen finally remembered who he was.

He had been the head of the Zenin Clan in Gen’s generation.

His Cursed Technique was…

something like Blazing Courage?

Back when they had joined forces to hunt Gen down, this guy still had not grasped a Domain.

He had not even learned Reverse Cursed Technique.

The moment Gen threw out his first wave of grid-like Dismantle, he dropped.

Was it because he had signed a contract with Kenjaku in advance?

Gen casually shaped a piece of shadow cloth and wiped the blood from the toe of his shoe.

This guy was as disgusting as ever.

If he wanted to run, he should have just run.

Gen had not planned to kill him at first, but the man kept cursing him while fleeing.

Sigh.

Gen pressed his palm against the man’s corpse.

In an instant, a dense flurry of slashes cut the body into dust.

He had not understood what the man was cursing about, but that did not stop him from sending him off with a single Dismantle.

“Kogane.”

“Your current score is 65 points.”

“Oh, and look up a few people for me while you’re at it.

Dhruv, Ryu Ishigori, Kurourushi, Takako Uro, and Hajime Kashimo.”

“Okay!”

Gen’s Kogane bug circled through the air for a while before landing in front of him.

Dhruv, current points: 10.

Ryu Ishigori, current points: 46.

Current Barrier: Tokyo’s Second Barrier.

Kurourushi, current points: 29.

Takako Uro, current points: 35.

Hajime Kashimo, current points: 5.

Rules added: 1.

Gen looked at the scores and was not surprised.

Ryu Ishigori’s moves were far too broad and destructive.

If he ran into a situation where he had to fight for his life, the Cursed Energy he fired would probably be enough to blow up an entire building, and the resulting casualties would add some points beyond sorcerers alone.

But Kurourushi had already started moving?

That thing he had pinned down inside the Sendai Barrier had actually begun to act?

Gen thought it over briefly and more or less understood why Kurourushi had become active.

It was obviously because Dhruv had acted abnormally.

Originally, Dhruv would have spread his Domain over a wide area.

If Kurourushi was even slightly careless and ran into Dhruv’s Domain, he would lose a large amount of “Cursed Energy.” Because of that, after hunting for a while, Kurourushi would enter hibernation due to Dhruv’s presence.

But because of Gen’s interference, Dhruv had chosen to shrink his Domain.

That meant Kurourushi no longer had to fear Dhruv’s Domain and could move around freely.

Judging by that score, and considering that the Sendai Barrier did not have many ordinary people left, about three or four sorcerers had probably died to Kurourushi’s swarm.

The rest were ordinary people.

However, because of the Binding Vow with Kenjaku, Gen had no intention of returning to the Sendai Barrier.

As long as Kurourushi ran into Dhruv, he would once again face the threat of “death” and enter hibernation.

And coincidentally, the place where Gen had buried Kurourushi was not far from the stadium where Dhruv was.

Maybe Dhruv and Kurourushi had already started beating each other up.

As for Ryu Ishigori?

If Ryu Ishigori was in Tokyo’s Second Barrier, maybe there would be a fight between Ryu Ishigori and Hajime Kashimo.

Though that would probably happen later in the original story anyway, since Okkotsu had not killed Ryu Ishigori and had spared his life instead.

As Gen strolled down the street, he walked into a manga shop.

“Ah…

Naruto.”

Gen picked up a manga from the sales counter and flipped through it while thinking back to the Jujutsu Kaisen plot from before he had transmigrated.

Jujutsu High would definitely add rules during the Culling Game, and the rule allowing movement between Barriers should appear very soon…

As for that guy who was “on par” with Okkotsu, he seemed to be called Kinji Hakari.

Gen remembered that he went to Tokyo’s Second Barrier.

There should be a fight between Kinji Hakari and Hajime Kashimo.

Gen flipped through the latest issue of Boruto.

After reading a few pages, he silently put it back on the shelf.

Tokyo’s First Barrier, huh…

The people who appeared in the manga were Reggie, that self-destructing guy…

what was his name again?

Then there were Takaba and Hiromi Higuruma.

Higuruma…

He would take it one step at a time.

Although, going by points, the strongest person in Tokyo’s First Barrier on the surface was Hiromi Higuruma, the actual strongest was probably Takaba.

Holding a bag of chips, Gen walked out of the empty anime shop while eating.

“Hey, you over there!”

A young man’s voice came from beside Gen.

Gen turned his head.

In his line of sight was a man wearing half of a “Superman” outfit, while the other half of his body was almost completely bare.

Takaba?

Crunch.

Gen bit down on the chip in his mouth, then looked at the “Cursed Energy” flowing around Takaba.

Automatic Cursed Energy defense.

It could probably be used for offense too, and it might even activate when the man himself was unconscious.

“You’re one of those ‘Players’ too, aren’t you!”

“You’re just like a Player in an RPG, barging into people’s houses and rummaging through whatever you want!”

What was this guy talking about?

“I saw a bunch of weapons along the way just now.

Come to think of it, isn’t a ‘Hero’ supposed to collect weapons on the road?

So why did you just throw them away?”

“Oh, because I’ve already ‘graduated.'”

Gen looked at the weapons that had appeared in Takaba’s hands at some point.

They were all Cursed Tools carried by the Players he had defeated along the way, and Gen had not seen when or how they appeared at all.

Was it because of his Cursed Technique?

Gen thought about the effect of Takaba’s Cursed Technique.

It was probably something like creating things from nothing.

As for the physical defense that could take an explosion head-on, that was likely just the effect of the “Cursed Energy” around him.

Gen swung the weapon in his hand.

The weapon kept shifting, changing into all kinds of forms.

“What the hell!

A weapon that changes however you want is way too OP!

If it’s an administrator weapon, shouldn’t it be in the administrator’s hands?”

Gen suddenly felt his hand grow light.

Then his Kogane appeared beside him.

The Kogane had clearly changed in a strange way.

For example, it had grown a tiny hand, and that hand was holding the Caduceus.

Gen grinned, then raised his hand.

“What are you, Tom the Cat?”

[Dog: Dismantle]

The slash cut across Takaba’s body in an instant, but Gen noticed something.

Takaba’s eyes were not on him.

They were on the slash that had suddenly appeared.

So heavy…

No, was time slowing down?

Gen watched time abruptly slow, and within that slowed time, Takaba flipped into the air as if he were casually dodging the slash.

The transparent slash carved a deep trench into the street behind Takaba, while Takaba himself split into an upper and lower half.

Then, in Gen’s eyes, Takaba’s lower half did several flips in midair before finally seeming to realize that his upper body had not followed along.

It twisted back around and ran over.

“Because I’m an anime character!

Even if my top and bottom halves split apart, I’m totally fine!”

As Takaba spoke, he gave his mismatched lower half a hard twist.

His lower body spun like a top before finally straightening out, while Takaba himself spread his arms and legs wide.

“See!

Absolutely nothing happened!”

Then Takaba’s lower half hit the ground with a smack, as if the glue had given out, leaving only Takaba’s upper body to crash down from midair.

“Pfft.”

Gen burst out laughing, while Takaba pushed himself up from the ground and looked at him with expectant eyes.

“What the hell are you doing?

That’s hilarious.”
