Kyoto Jujutsu High.

“WHAT?! WE’RE GOING TO FIGHT SATORU GOJO?!”

Kasumi Miwa, the blue-haired girl with the strange bangs, slammed her hands on the desk and shot up in shock.Full novel: Jujutsu Kaisen: I Became a Sukuna Blob? — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

All the students at Kyoto Jujutsu High were gathered in the classroom, and none of them looked any less shocked than Miwa.

They had been dragged out of bed at dawn for a school-wide emergency meeting, only to hear news this absurd.

Kyoto Jujutsu High vs.

Satoru Gojo?

Did they think the school’s history was getting a little too long and decided to end it?

Standing at the podium were Principal Gakuganji and Utahime Iori.

“A direct confrontation isn’t guaranteed,” Gakuganji said.

“As I just explained, at four o’clock this morning, Satoru Gojo attacked every single member of the Jujutsu Headquarters. The Big Three Sorcerer Families and other affiliated clans have already verified the authenticity of this report!”

“Gojo made no attempt to cover up or hide his actions. However, his ultimate goal remains unclear.”

Gakuganji surveyed the room, taking in the students’ faces—some grim, others utterly lost.

“If Satoru Gojo has turned into a Curse user with the intent to shatter the balance of the Jujutsu world, or worse, attack non-sorcerer society… then even if our chances of victory are infinitesimally small, we must fight back!”

“But on the other hand…” Gakuganji sighed.

“If his only intention was to dismantle the current power structure of the Jujutsu world…”

Gakuganji didn’t finish the thought.

But everyone in the room understood perfectly.

As long as Gojo didn’t destroy everything, if he only wanted to make some changes and set new rules, they would just let him.

Gakuganji leaned on his cane and felt a vein throbbing in his forehead.

God only knew how high the old man’s blood pressure had spiked when he was abruptly woken up in the dead of night to receive that report.

He was considered the leading figure of the conservative faction.

He had crossed paths with Satoru Gojo more times than he could count.

He generally knew the approach Gojo had been taking to reform the Jujutsu world up until now.

Educating students, nurturing a new generation of allies, and taking a step-by-step approach to slowly phase out the corrupt authorities.

While Gakuganji vehemently disapproved of Gojo’s usual attitude and methods…

he hadn’t actually opposed that specific strategy.

It was, relatively speaking, the most moderate approach with the least amount of chaotic fallout.

So why did Gojo suddenly choose such a harsh and direct approach?

Gakuganji couldn’t figure it out.

“Principal,” Aoi Todo spoke up, breaking the silence.

“You’re a member of the Jujutsu Headquarters too. Why didn’t Gojo come after you?”

Miwa gasped.

“Principal! Did you secretly abandon the darkness and side with the light?! Have you been cooperating with Gojo-sensei this whole time?!”

All eyes in the room instantly locked onto the hunched old man.

Even Utahime, standing right next to him, was giving him a suspicious side-eye.

Gakuganji’s eyelid twitched violently.

“…I have no idea.”

From what he knew, he was the only member of the Jujutsu Headquarters still alive and answering his phone.

“This is an unprecedented incident that impacts the entire Jujutsu world!”

“All Grade 1 and Grade 2 sorcerers, the Big Three Families, and both the Kyoto and Tokyo branches of Jujutsu High are mobilizing. The ‘Windows’ are actively tracking Gojo’s location. We need a unified plan of action before they find him!”

Time shifted to noon.

Kaito had only been awake for a short time.

Gojo finally woke up after Kaito pinched his philtrum hard.

“Ugh—” Gojo groaned, pressing a hand to his head as he sat up.

“Where are we?”

“The Kyoto Tower’s 100-meter observation deck is right beneath our feet,” Kaito pointed down with a tentacle.

“Where do you think we are?”

“Kyoto? Why are we here…? Oh. Right. I remember.”

Gojo looked at the circle of rotten oranges around them, and memories of the previous night quickly came back to him.

‘…Yeah, I really shouldn’t drink.’

It wasn’t that Gojo regretted slaughtering the rotten oranges.

Armed with the intel Kaito had provided, his short-term actions were inevitably going to become much more radical.

The higher-ups were no longer just terrible administrators temporarily maintaining the stability of the Jujutsu world.

They were a bunch of decaying trash actively holding everyone back.

Some of them might have even been secretly controlled by Kenjaku already.

How was he supposed to build a better Jujutsu world with these parasites infesting it?

“The last time I drank was back when I was still a student. Things got pretty out of hand that time too, but it definitely doesn’t compare to this,” Gojo remarked.

He stood up and walked to the very edge of the observation deck’s roof, looking down at the city of Kyoto.

Kaito yawned and moved over to the edge too.

“We were planning to do something big anyway… If we didn’t make a scene, it would be hard to get things moving. This actually works out well.”

“…Fair point.”

High-altitude winds whipped past them.

They stood in silence for a moment.

Gojo pulled out his phone, unlocked it, and chuckled softly with a look of ‘I knew it’.

“Over a thousand messages and hundreds of missed calls. I guess I kept a lot of people up last night.”

“So, what’s your plan now?” Kaito extended a tentacle.

“Also, pass me some more cursed energy.”

Gojo gave him some cursed energy to absorb while quickly scrolling through his phone messages.

“Since our final confirmed location was here in Kyoto, everyone’s gathering nearby. They only left Itadori back at the Tokyo campus, with Megumi staying behind to watch over and protect him.”

“I’m thinking of picking out a few people I trust, a few people who hold power, and the ones who will support the future, and holding a small meeting to share some of the intel you gave me. What do you think?”

Kaito nodded.

“For small issues, call a big meeting. For big problems, keep the meeting small. That makes sense.”

“But only reveal the intel related to Kenjaku.”

Take out the root of all evil… The source of this chapter is g.com.

and that solves 90% of the problems.

“Everyone’s attention is focused squarely on you right now. I don’t want to expose my existence to the entire world just yet, so I won’t be tagging along.”

Having absorbed enough cursed energy, Kaito pulled his tentacle back.

He considered the current situation for a second before adding:

“Send me back to Tokyo Jujutsu High. I need to have a chat with Megumi Fushiguro.”

“And just to be safe, have Fushiguro spam you with messages. If you don’t receive a message from him for more than ten seconds, warp back to the school immediately.”

Kyoto Jujutsu High’s lecture hall.

“Ugh, I can’t stand that guy!” Maki complained, crossing her arms in annoyance.

“Just yesterday he was on a mission, casually sharing gossip about Megumi in the group chat, and overnight he pulls off something this insane!”

“…Are we seriously going to war with Gojo-sensei?” Panda asked cautiously, scratching his head.

He discreetly surveyed the people gathered in the room.

There weren’t many representatives from Tokyo Jujutsu High.

From the first-years, it was only Megumi, and he was held up with other matters.

(Yuji had just been brought in, and Nobara hadn’t enrolled yet.)

The second-years were just him, Maki, and Inumaki.

Okkotsu was still overseas.

The two third-years had left previously due to conflicts with the higher-ups and hadn’t shown up today either.

Then there was the second-year homeroom teacher, Kusakabe.

And Principal Masamichi Yaga.

The Kyoto faction was much larger.

While their first-years weren’t allowed to participate, all of their second and third-years were present.

Along with Utahime-sensei.

And Principal Gakuganji, who was presiding at the front of the hall.

As for the Big Three Families…

The Zen’in Clan had brought the most members, followed by the Kamo Clan.

Unsurprisingly, the Gojo Clan had the fewest representatives.

Grade 1 and Grade 2 sorcerers were scattered throughout the room.

By the looks of it, almost all the top people in the Jujutsu world were present.

After some arguing, everyone had mostly agreed, at least in words, to Gakuganji’s plan.

What they really thought inside was a mystery.

Now, this large group of fighters waited in tense silence for an update from the ‘Windows’.

Panda was a bundle of nerves.

If things happened like Gakuganji’s first scenario, and Gojo-sensei really became their enemy, did they really think the people here could defeat him?

‘If a fight really starts, should I just lie down and try to look cute?’ Panda wondered what pose might make Satoru Gojo feel sorry for him.

Buzz—

A phone notification broke the silence.
