If Yuji had lost his whole arm, healing it with someone else’s Reverse Cursed Technique would have been almost impossible.

Fortunately, he’d lost only part of his hand.

Once he had enough cursed energy, Kaito stretched out a tentacle as far as he could and sent positive energy into Yuji.Full novel: Jujutsu Kaisen: I Became a Sukuna Blob? — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Gojo stood by, keeping his guard up in case Sukuna decided to make another appearance.

“Alright, try moving it. There shouldn’t be any issues,” Kaito said.

He was completely drained again, unable to squeeze out even a single drop of cursed energy.

The efficiency of outputting RCT to heal others was vastly inferior to healing oneself.

It consumed significantly more energy.

Flattening out like a pancake, Kaito sighed inwardly.

‘I wonder if there’s any way to increase my total cursed energy reserves,’ he thought.

He had to drain his entire pool just to manifest a Domain with a 50-centimeter radius.

Then, to maximize the technique’s lethality, he had compressed that radius down to a mere 10 centimeters.

There wasn’t even enough room to place the actual Shrine inside the Domain—he’d had to balance it on his head like a tiny birthday hat.

Yuji flexed his newly regrown fingers.

Yuji didn’t blame Kaito for cutting off his hand with a Domain Expansion.

In the end, it was his own fault.

He had seriously underestimated what Sukuna could do, not realizing the King of Curses could make a mouth appear anywhere on his body.

He had almost gotten Kaito eaten.

He needed to make sure he kept a safe distance from now on!!

Still, Yuji felt a little disappointed.

He kind of wanted to squish Kaito—the blob looked so bouncy and soft!

“Alright, that’s a wrap for today,” Gojo clapped his hands.

“Huh?” Yuji asked, confused.

“Aren’t you going to test me?”

“What just happened ‘was’ the test,” Gojo said.

“If Sukuna could have taken over your body, even for a second, he would have used it to swallow Kaito whole. Since he couldn’t, it proves your body really is a ‘cage.’ There’s no need for more tests.”

Megumi chimed in.

“Gojo-sensei, how are we going to handle this…? The higher-ups sent you here to clean up the mess. You’ll have to report the situation to them. These two…”

Megumi didn’t finish the sentence.

Yuji had ingested a Special Grade Cursed Object and now housed the King of Curses from a thousand years ago.

The Jujutsu higher-ups would absolutely demand his execution.

And Kaito’s physical body was literally a cursed object without even a humanoid shape.

It wasn’t hard to guess what their attitude toward him would be.

Gojo didn’t answer right away.

He glanced down at Kaito, who looked completely worn out, his eyes dull and tired.

“What do you think we should do?” Gojo asked.

“…Slaughter those scum,” Kaito replied flatly.

He then added, “That’s what you were originally planning to do, anyway.”

‘S-Slaughter them?

He was originally going to do it?’

Yuji and Megumi’s jaws dropped, too stunned to speak.

Gojo didn’t look shocked.

Instead, his interest was piqued.

“Oh, really? Do I kill them all in the future? When? Right now, or during a later incident?”

“I’ll explain everything later,” Kaito said, propping himself up.

“There might be someone watching the area right now, and there’s a high probability I’ve already been noticed. Let’s find a safe place, get Itadori settled in, and then I’ll give you the full rundown on the crises of both the present and the future.”

“Nearby…” Gojo’s Six Eyes swept over their surroundings, analyzing every trace of data.

He didn’t find anything out of the ordinary.

“Alright, let’s head back to Jujutsu High for now.”

“WHOOSH!”

Using Cursed Technique Lapse: Blue to compress the space around them, Gojo teleported the group away.

All that was left behind was the devastated high school campus.

The moon was high in the sky, and everything was completely silent.

Few hours later.

A weak cursed spirit, drawn by the leftover cursed energy, crawled into the area.

It slithered around for over ten minutes, checking every spot where the fight had happened.

In the end, it stopped right where Kaito and the others had left.

Another hour passed.

Nothing happened.

On a distant mountain near the peak, there was a perfect view of the school below.

Deep underground, a large cavern was held up by a thick network of tree roots.

Several figures waited in the silence.

Kenjaku, dressed in dark blue monk robes, stood with his hands tucked into his opposite sleeves like a Minecraft villager.

“Let’s go. That cursed spirit has recorded the cursed energy residuals. I’ll have it wander around outside for a few days before bringing it back.”

There were four other figures in the room.

Aside from a blue-haired youth with a stitched face, none of them looked remotely human.

One had a literal Mount Fuji for a head, another had branches growing out of its eye sockets, and the last looked like a giant red octopus.

Jogo didn’t understand.

“Is it really necessary to be this cautious? That unexpected anomaly looked incredibly weak.”

They had watched from a distance and couldn’t hear what was said at the school.

Before Gojo arrived, they just made sure the vessel really swallowed Sukuna’s finger.

“Who knows if it’s necessary,” Kenjaku shook his head.

“Call it a hunch…”

Kenjaku suddenly stopped talking.

Then, he burst into uncontrollable laughter.

“HAHA! INTERESTING… HOW TRULY INTERESTING! HAHAHAHA!”

…

High in the night sky above the school, Satoru Gojo hovered.

He looked down at the weak cursed spirit slithering away, seemingly operating on pure instinct.

His face was entirely devoid of expression.

A sphere of glowing blue light formed at his fingertip.

He flicked it away.

“BANG!”

The cursed spirit was instantly annihilated.

Gojo remained expressionless, exuding a chilling sense of dread.

He scanned the area one last time with his Six Eyes before disappearing into the night.

Back in the underground root cavern, Kenjaku’s laughter finally died down.

“Let’s head back. We’ll take the underground route.”

Ignoring the ‘is this guy insane?’ looks from the Disaster Curses, Kenjaku felt a surge of anticipation.

He had lived for over a thousand years.

His ultimate master plan involved merging his old friend with one hundred million Japanese citizens to create a powerful Cursed Spirit.

His lifelong pursuit could be boiled down to a single word.

‘A strange, unknown variable…

I wonder how much surprise and chaos you’ll bring me?’ Kenjaku thought.

‘I’ll be watching.’

Tokyo Jujutsu High.

Inside a heavily warded secret room, completely plastered with protective talismans inside and out.

Kaito sipped a Coke, hummed a tune, and happily watched TV.

He had to admit, Japanese prank shows really knew how to torture their guests.

The heavy door creaked open.

Gojo walked in, his expression unusually gloomy.

Seeing his face, Kaito could guess the result.

“Kenjaku didn’t show up?”

“…It was just a single cursed spirit. Like you suggested, I waited until it was about to leave before exorcising it.”

Gojo practically collapsed onto the sofa next to Kaito, carrying a six-pack of beer in his hand.

Kaito glanced at the beer.

If he remembered the official fanbook right, Satoru Gojo couldn’t handle alcohol and didn’t really like drinking.

But it made sense.

After Gojo had brought them back to Jujutsu High, Kaito had accompanied him to this warded room.

After carefully choosing his words, Kaito had dumped the entire canonical plot of Jujutsu Kaisen onto the Strongest Sorcerer.

His best friend’s corpse being hijacked.

The invasion during the Goodwill Event.

The Shibuya Incident, resulting in the mass slaughter of ordinary civilians.

Nanami’s death.

Tokyo being reduced to a demonic wasteland.

The initiation and purpose of the Culling Game.

Master Tengen being controlled and reduced to a mere husk to maintain the barriers…

If things had progressed normally, unfolding one by one, Gojo could have managed his emotions perfectly fine.

But he couldn’t handle getting completely spoiled on the entire tragedy all at once.

A massive chain of critical information had been condensed and ruthlessly uploaded into Gojo’s brain in the span of fifteen minutes.

It was basically a mini-version of Unlimited Void.

Following the lore-dump, Kaito had warned Gojo that Kenjaku might have noticed the anomaly and could show up at the school to investigate.

So Gojo had warped back to Sendai, hid in the sky, and monitored the area for hours.

Only to come up completely empty-handed.

It was enough to make even Gojo want to drink his frustrations away.

‘What a shame,’ Kaito thought, a little disappointed.

He had hoped for a quick speedrun of the plot.

Pop—

Pop—

Gojo cracked open two cans of beer, sliding one over to Kaito.

“I understand the current situation. I’ll take care of all of it. So… what exactly is this crisis happening sixty-eight years from now?”

Kaito unhurriedly shimmied his way onto the top of the beer can.

Should he tell Gojo a sequel plot?

That wouldn’t make sense.

The crisis wouldn’t seem serious enough to justify the huge cost of time travel just to give a warning.

Kaito took a small sip of the beer.

‘Mmm~ ice cold.’ His mind cleared.

My name is Kaito, and I’m about to start lying!!
