The duo enters the house, and let out a sigh.
They have been through alot.
“What happened to that Dante guy?
I thought he was meant to train us.” Ryuki says, while looking around for curses.
“Probably didn’t want to deal with us and put the job on other people.
Seems like the type of guy who would do that.” Runa said.
Runa pulls out the Cursed Tool Gojo lent her, it looked like a normal katana, but when she focused on it, sensed the cursed energy on it.
Ryuki had a sword, not much longer than a dagger, but it was a bit thicker than one.
At the end of the hallway, a curse crawled around the corner, it looked like a dog, well, it looked like it was meant to be a dog.
It was made of saggy green flesh and had no eyes, its teeth were in disarray and rotting, blood dripped from its eye sockets, then another one came around the corner, purple in colour.
Ryuki and Runa got into a fighting stance and the Curses charged at them.
One of them tries to latch onto Runa’s arm, but she sends the blade right through its neck, the other one heads for Ryuki, only to have the knife shoved through its head.
The duo moves on, and keep exploring the cabin.
They see a large scratch following the wall, but it wasn’t from a claw, it was a human’s desperate struggle.
They turn a corner and see another Curse Dog, but this one is struggling, its being pulled through a door, clawing and whimpering.
When it fully goes out of view, a cry comes from the room, and the blood of a curse splats on the door.
Ryuki and Runa square up for whatever is in that room.
Before hearing a little laugh, and a person walks out of the room, drenched in the blood of Curses, bearing a nasty grin and a look that feigns compassion.
Something is off.
