Chisaki, still detached from reality, walks over to Rei, “Oh Rei, you scared us, good thing you are alright.” She said while tears went down her cheeks.
“Don’t Worry, Chisaki, I’m ok, want a hug?” Rei opened his arms to embrace Chisaki, she accepted the hug as Runa and Ryuki scream not to.
Chisaki leans out of the hug, “You’re bleeding, Rei.” “I know.” Rei says, with less emotion, and a sharp look on his face, he turns around, pulls the rod from the wall, and sends it straight through Chisaki’s Forehead.
Right as it’s impacting her head, she lets out a cry, and her facial expression changes.
Rei and Chisaki were destined to be together, from the first time they met, Amane and Ryuki knew, they were the ones for each other.
They were supposed to be in a sweet, calm romance, with Clichés, and heartwarming scenes, but they never managed to get there.
They were meant to have a lovely wedding, they were meant to say ‘Til Death Do Us Part, but the window to say that had already passed.
Rei pulled the rod from Chisaki’s Head, without showing emotion.
A single tear rolls down his cheek, but he seems annoyed by it, and wipes it away.
Ryuki looks to Chisaki’s Corpse, now surrounded by a crimson pool, he sees her face, her purple hair that always glows, now dull.
Her face was one of despair, sadness, confusion and love all at once.
Her emerald eyes that once brought joy to all near it, now darkened by the blood running down her face.
Ryuki pukes, he can’t bear the sight of Chisaki like this, in this perfect town, where nothing bad happens, there’s no way someone would die like this.
It must be a dream.
Ryuki thinks.
He looks at the hole in Rei’s Chest, blood is no longer coming from it, instead, what’s left on him, drips down to the floor.
Ryuki throws up again.
Rei is dead, no, Rei was dead.
He’s alive, how else could he be standing right there?
But he just killed Chisaki, and he saw him dead against a wall.
How is he moving, and why did he just kill Chisaki?
Is Chisaki dead?
Wait, how did Rei die anyway, we just turned around and he was against a wall, what if Chisaki killed him?
Ryuki was lost in his delusions, trying to avoid the inevitable truth, they disturbed a place that truly was cursed, and now are seeing what happens when you do.
Ryuki comes to terms with what happened, they both died, still confused by how Rei was moving, he decided to try something, he picks up the saw, and charges for Rei.
“Ryuki, What are you doing?” Rei says, with a grin of happiness comparable only to that of a sadist watching someone cry in agony.
