I pushed open the heavy doors and walked inside the room.

Duryodhana stood near the balcony, while Dushasana and Shakuni whispered in a nearby corner.

As I walked closer, Duryodhana didn’t turn around, but his face said enough.Full novel: karna: undefeated warrior — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

He was still consumed by his anger.

”Listen carefully, Duryodhana,” I said in a low voice.

He slowly turned his head toward me.

His eyes were bloodshot, filled with a rage that looked ready to burn the world .

”You still have a chance to become the ruler,” I said, stepping closer.

“You only need to wait.

Once they make a single mistake, that will be your perfect opportunity.”

Duryodhana opened his mouth to argue, but I raised my hand and stopped him.

”Until then, I don’t want you to do anything against Dharma.”

Shakuni smirked from the corner, but I ignored him entirely, keeping my eyes locked on Duryodhana.

”This world runs on Dharma,” I said.

“Whether you accept it or not, the universe does not care.

If you follow it, you can move forward with it.

If you go against it, it will cast you aside and destroy you completely.

So, remember my advice.

Don’t let anger drive you into adharma.

Train harder.

Grow stronger.

In this cruel world, strength is the only thing that truly supports a man.”

His face was still with anger.

”There’s one more important thing I need to tell you,” I added.

“I am leaving for Mahendragiri for intense spiritual practice.

I don’t know when I will return.”

A brief trace of anxiety flashed in his eyes, so I placed a hand on his shoulder to reassure him .

”But when I come back, if you still haven’t found your peace, then I will use my own strength to conquer a hundred kingdoms for you.

I will make sure you are the one who bears the title of Samrat.”

The moment he heard those words, a wave of relief washed over his face.

”I have always trusted you, mitra Karna,” Duryodhana said, his voice filled with emotion.

“You don’t need to worry about me.”

He pulled me into a tight embrace.

When he stepped back, there was a faint, genuine smile on his face.

”We will talk about everything else after you return from Mahendragiri.”

With that, he personally walked me out of his palace.

The next morning, I prepared to leave Hastinapur.

I had just started riding toward the city gates when a desperate, shouting voice echoed from behind me.

The voice felt incredibly familiar.

”Your Majesty!

Your Majesty!”

I pulled the reins and turned my horse around.

Running toward me, completely out of breath, was a very familiar face.

It was Vidhyadhar. This story is hosted at g.com.

For a moment, a wave of amusement washed over me.

Ah…

right.

I had brought him with me to Hastinapur, and after entering the chaotic city, I had completely forgotten about him.

”Hahaha!

Vidhyadhar!” I said, trying hard to hide my grin.

“Did you enjoy your stay in Hastinapur?”

Vidhyadhar stopped with his hands resting on his knees, panting heavily.

He looked up at me with an expression so utterly speechless that I almost laughed out loud again.

Before he could start complaining about being left behind, I straightened my posture and spoke in a serious tone.

”Go get your horse immediately and come with me.

I need to discuss something important with you.”

Vidhyadhar opened his mouth to speak, then closed it again.

What could a loyal minister even say about his king’s incredibly careless way of doing things .

In the end, he could only obey.

He quickly fetched his horse and followed behind me.

As we rode away from the towering stone walls of Hastinapur and headed southeast toward Mahendragiri, I brought up the real matter.

”Vidhyadhar, I am leaving for Mahendragiri,” I said, keeping my eyes fixed on the road ahead.

“While I am gone, I need you to watch over the entire kingdom of Anga.

If any emergency arises, you have my full authority to deploy the army.

It will take few months or years ”

Vidhyadhar shocked ,surprised that he almost fell completely off his horse.

After stabilizing himself, his face once again showed absolute bewilderment at my words.

After a short while, without saying another word, he pulled his reins and turned back, leaving me to continue the journey alone.

As I turned to leave, I caught the faint, exasperated sound of his voice carrying over the wind” you better come back quickly, otherwise I will resign from the post of magamandri, and run away from anga….”

I just laughed it off and urged my horse forward.

As I rode toward Mahendragiri, my thoughts drifted back to the reason for this sudden journey.

It had all started on the day I met Bhishma and the five Pandavas.

After surveying the streets of Hastinapur, I had returned to the palace just before dawn.

Inside, I saw servants preparing fresh flowers for a pooja.

Curious, I followed them and soon saw Mother Gandhari performing worship before a sacred Shiva Linga.

The room was filled with a quiet, divine presence.

Even with the soft sound of ritual instruments in the background, the atmosphere felt deeply peaceful.

The moment my eyes fell upon the Shiva Linga, all my anxious worries about the future seemed to vanish instantly.

My mind became completely clear.

Without even thinking about it, I sat down quietly in a far corner and entered a state of deep meditation.

For the last three months, I had been trying to find a clear path to remove the curses upon me.

I had already completed my practice of the

Parnas ,Once i finished dhatu transmutation, the body will begins to generate a special spiritual energy called Tejas, but only in small amounts.

The body begins to generate Tejas in considerable amounts.

Tejas was extremely important.

In spiritual philosophy, it is the inner fire, the divine radiance born from pure discipline and awakening.

As it rises through the body, it changes in nature across different energy centers

At the Manipura Chakra, It takes the form of the fire element.

The ordinary fire of digestion transforms into a spiritual fire, giving rise to intense willpower, absolute discipline.

At the Anahata Chakra, It takes on the quality of the air element.

Here, Tejas becomes a warm, magnetic aura that naturally draws others toward the user.

At the Vishuddhi Chakra ,It enters the stage of space.

The Tejas becomes absolute purity in speech.

At the Ajna Chakra ,It reaches its absolute highest form.

There, Tejas becomes pure cosmic insight and intellect.

This Tejas was the natural enemy of all curses.

In ancient records, when a powerful person was burdened by a curse, they often went into deep exile to perform a Tapasya.

The enormous amount of Tejas generated by such intense penance would completely burn away the heavy karmic weight of the curse, sometimes even transforming it into a divine blessing.

the curses placed upon me are also heavy, To completely erase them, I needed an astronomical amount of Tejas.

If I relied only on standard cultivation, even if i open my Manipura chakra now , it would take many painstaking years.

That was when the sight of the Shiva Linga gave me my answer.

In my previous life as Varun, I had been a deeply devoted worshipper of Lord Shiva.

But in this current life as Karna, I had devoted myself entirely to worshipping my biological father, Surya Deva.

That when a idea hit me ,I would perform a severe Tapasya dedicated to Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati.

A penance conducted entirely without food, water, or sleep would create a tremendous surge of Tejas within my core.

And the best part was that I would not even need to consciously direct that fire against the curses.

The spiritual fire itself would naturally seek out and burn them away.

Even if Mahadev and Mother Parvati did not personally appear before me to grant me boons, simply dissolving the curses would be more than enough.

When I had finally emerged from that deep meditation, the ritual hall was completely empty.

But near the Shiva Linga, right beside where I sat, someone had quietly placed a fresh flower, sacred ash (vibhuti), and sweets.

I immediately understood that Mother Gandhari had left them there, choosing not to disturb my trance.

I silently thanked her from the bottom of my heart.

Because of her silent kindness, I had found the ultimate answer to my limitations.

I applied the vibhuti to my forehead, ate the blessed sweets, and held the fresh flower for a brief moment before rising to leave.

The memory faded as my horse continued its steady pace.

I lifted my eyes to the distant horizon.

The sacred, mist-shrouded peaks of Mahendragiri were already coming into view.

My guru, Lord Parashurama, was up there.

And under his mighty shadow, I was about to begin a penance hoping that will change my destiny
