"Lord Prince."
A familiar female voice rang out clearly. As Prince heard it, he turned left, toward the sound.
It was Yella’s voice. She quickly grabbed his arms tightly, close to her chest.
"What are you doing here?" Yella said, a small smile spreading across her face.
"Ugh, that’s just umm..."
He turned his face, and saw a male figure.
Jet-black hair, a cold blue gaze, looking straight at him.
He had a smile on his face and waved his hands at Prince, which almost made Prince feel angry.
He was Kale Sandrium, the author of ’Villains are destined to die’ and the guy who killed Prince Van Fyugel.
It was Prince’s first time seeing his face after regressing.
For a moment, the entire academy around him seemed to fade into the darkness.
Every instinct in his body wanted to close the distance right now, consequences be damned, and finish what should have ended the very first time around.
But charging in blind hadn’t worked out for him last time either, and it certainly wouldn’t work with an audience of several hundred students watching.
He forced his expression back into something neutral, and made himself look away first.
Snow’s eyebrows twitched, eyes narrowed as she shot a glare at Prince. "I knew it; he’s no more than a playboy." She muttered under her breath.
Prince felt as if someone was cursing him, and he looked over at Snow.
Yella looked at Snow too. "By the way, I heard your condition is not good for participating in the next test."
"Yeah, but I’m fine now," Snow replied.
Yella turned to Prince and grabbed his arms more tightly. "Hey, Lord Prince, our hair and eyes have the same color. Why don’t we match our surnames then?"
Prince totally ran out of words.
"Ahem!"
But Snow didn’t look disturbed at all.
The one who had been silent until now, Flame, finally managed to gather the words to speak.
"Lord Prince, umm... you need to be aware."
He asked her the reason.
"When I passed by the infirmary, I heard some students were talking to the doctors, saying it might be you who used dark magic on Snow, because they saw you with Snow the other night."
"What bullshit."
’Even if I told them, it was Elisha who used dark magic on her. They won’t be able to do anything.’ Prince thought.
"It can’t be true," Yella added.
"Yeah. That’s not true."
"Ahem! Ahem! Students, pay attention here!" announced the coordinator of class A on the mic, Miss Lumina. She stood on the stage, and beside her were the class B coordinator, Mr. Rick; the class C coordinator, Mr. Ber; and the class D coordinator, Miss Nova.
"Here’s your next test." She announced.
"The next test will be held on an island. Every class will be allotted a green zone; you need to collect 5 color flags of your class."
"Class A needs to collect five Red flags, Class B five Blue flags, Class C five green flags, and Class D five yellow flags."
"Flags are hidden all over the island. There are two other colors of flags too: Black and White."
"One Black flag will increase your flag’s strength by one, and one White flag will decrease your flag’s strength by one."
"Black flags will only appear at night." She backed off a few steps, and Coordinator Ber stepped forward.
"There are no such rules; you are all grown up. Just don’t kill each other. You need to protect your flags from being stolen, and remember: whichever team has more flags will win."
"Only green zone flags will be counted, so make sure to stay inside the green zone with your flags while time runs out."
"You all have 1 night and 2 days; the test will end at 11:00 am. And yeah, the island is filled with different types of monsters, including C- or B-rank monsters."
"You can even steal the enemy team’s flag, it won’t add to your own flag count, but it will decrease theirs."
"Oh, and not to mention, you can’t take other color flags inside your allotted green zone."
Prince clenched his fists. "This time, it will be my victory." He muttered.
"Snow, you will not participate in this test." Flame said, with worry across her face.
Snow shook her head. "But I’m fine now."
Yella lost her grip on his arms. "Our class has only a few strong students, including Snow. Sadly, our class will lose strength by one. But I strongly recommend you stay back here."
"I will suggest you not to go there," Prince said.
"Whatever, Prince, it’s up to me whether I’ll go or not. And as you can see, I can walk on my own." Snow replied.
"..."
"Fine, if you think so."
