Prince was his real name and also his status, so everyone in the kingdom called him Lord Prince, instead of Prince Prince, which would sound much weirder.
Each class went inside the teleportation gate one by one, and the same for Prince. He followed the waves of his classmates and entered the teleportation gate.
The Class coordinators of each class went inside too, after letting students in first.
The air around the dungeon was heavy; it was what Prince had felt when stepping inside his first dungeon raid task.
"Hello, Lord Prince~" the words hit the back of his ears.
When he looked back, he saw a slender female figure, wearing an academic uniform. Her blonde hair fell over her back, and her crimson eyes met his.
He recognised her as soon as he met her gaze; she was Yella Vel, the daughter of the academy’s principal.
"Uhh, Yella, so you are in my class this year too?" He repeated the same words as he did in the past.
"Of course, I was always in your class since our first year," She replied.
"By the way, why are you here? I mean, what work are you going to assign me?" Prince asked gently.
"Not really, Lord Prince, I’m here to find out the capable students to clear this dungeon raid."
"Hmm, you are right. If we send someone randomly anywhere, we will not be able to clear this dungeon within the time limit, since they will notice our teamwork through this magical artifact on our uniform."
In their academic uniforms, there were magical artifacts stuck on them that were connected to different orbs that helped the Coordinators check on students’ performance.
"How about we divide the class into four groups. Each group will have at least a strong student, since the boss monster would be C-rank, so I’ll choose someone who can have the upper hand on a C-rank monster, and the rest of the students will take care of low-rank monsters." Yella suggested an idea.
Prince did not object to her idea. His mind was somewhere else, so he simply nodded.
Everyone in class gathered around her as she announced something important that would help them in the future.
She continued. "Listen up, everyone. I’ll divide us into four groups, and every group has the same goal: to defeat the dungeon boss."
Almost everyone seemed to have no issues with her suggestion.
As she said, she divided her class into equally strong students. Unfortunately, a single student was still not convinced.
Snow Quen, silver-white hair flowing in air, with natural blue highlights, and her blue eyes fixed on Prince.
"I don’t want to be in the same group as Lord Prince," Snow said, her gaze piercing at him.
Snow was part of a fallen noble family and did not like the Prince from the very start. Not only Prince, but everyone with the status of Royalty.
She did not really care whether the person in front of her is royal, noble or commoner.
However, in Prince’s previous life, they eventually got closer and became closer than close friends.
Upon seeing her behaviour like this, Prince couldn’t help himself, and a small chuckle escaped his throat, which made Snow more annoyed, as if Prince was making fun of her.
"Can’t you adjust, Snow? We are all set and the team I’ve put together works well," Yella said, looking worried.
"Uhh, I-I will— Let’s do our best." Snow had respect for the Academy’s principal as well as her daughter, so she didn’t argue anymore.
Each group went in a different direction, having at least 3 strong students in the group.
After a few hours, Prince’s group, led by Snow, seemed too tired from continuous walking, without finding a single monster to fight.
Yeah, they managed to reach the 10th floor of the dungeon without having a single fight with any monster.
"Don’t you guys think we are coming back to the same place again and again?" someone from behind said.
"I think so too..."
In his group, Snow, Aiden, and Prince were the strongest ones. As their steps grew deeper in the dungeon, they heard someone’s footsteps coming from the left side.
They instinctively got alert to the source of the sound and stopped moving further, waiting for the sound to reveal itself.
The students majoring in magic started casting spells. Weapon-majoring students pulled out their weapons, like swords and spears, and aimed at the sound.
Aiden Arian, the male representative of Class A, also one of the strongest summoners in the Ellen Academy, started summoning the spirits.
Thud!
Thud!
The sound grew closer and closer. In Prince’s vision, he saw some other students, not the ones from his class, but from a different class.
Prince frowned at the Class B students in the same dungeon allotted to Class A, because Miss Lumina had said each class would get a separate dungeon, and yet here were Class B students in the same one.
The female representative of class B was Lacy La Senin, with long green hair and confused-looking purple eyes—the princess of the Senin Empire, and a Silver High Core, with Assassin Class.
Seeing her like this, Prince remembered that she was one of the supporters of Kale’s party, and probably a member too.
But the fact that she was not present on the day when they killed him, left Prince puzzled.
