beep of medical machines.
Outside, darkness covered the city.
A nurse quietly entered the ward.
Her movements were so calm and precise that even her footsteps seemed nonexistent.
In one corner of the room lay a Russian gangster recovering from his injuries.
Despite his condition, the cruelty in his eyes remained unchanged.
His gaze followed the nurse as she moved through the room.
A dirty grin appeared on his face.
“Looks like today is my lucky day.”
After finishing with another patient, the nurse slowly approached his bed.
As soon as she came close enough, the gangster suddenly grabbed her wrist.
Looking at her with lust-filled eyes, he spoke in Russian.
“Will you take care of me tonight?
You’re very beautiful.”
The nurse showed no fear.
Her cold eyes met his, and a faint smile appeared beneath her mask.
“Why are you in such a hurry?” she replied calmly.
“The game has only just begun.”
She prepared an injection and gently inserted the needle into his arm.
A few seconds later, the gangster’s smile disappeared.
His eyes widened.
His heartbeat suddenly accelerated.
Thump…

Thump…
The monitor began screaming warnings as his pulse became dangerously unstable.
Immediately, the nurse changed her expression and rushed toward the door.
“Doctor!
Doctor!
Emergency!
The patient’s condition is critical!”
Doctors and medical staff rushed into the room.
Machines began sounding alarms.
Orders were shouted from every direction.
The team desperately tried to stabilize him, using every available procedure to save his life.
Amid the chaos, the nurse quietly stepped back.
She removed her mask.
For the first time, her true expression was visible.
A chilling, devilish smile slowly spread across her face.
Without emotion, she watched the gangster’s heartbeat line flatten into a single straight line.
The man was dead.
Without attracting anyone’s attention, she turned around and disappeared into the dark hospital corridor.
Aru’s Introduction
The hospital emergency had barely settled when the same woman entered an abandoned basement hidden beneath the city.
The air was filled with cigar smoke.
A single old man sat in the darkness.
He was her only contact.
Aru removed her gloves and casually tossed them onto the table.
There was neither guilt nor exhaustion in her eyes.
“The gangster is gone?” the old man asked without looking up.
Aru let out a cold chuckle.
“Six months of preparation.
Six months spent getting close to him.”
She leaned against the table.
“And in the end?
Just one small injection.”
“He always claimed he could see through every trap and every scheme.”
A mocking smile appeared on her lips.
“But he never saw his own death coming.
His arrogance killed him.”
Elsewhere…
At the top floor of the tallest building in the city stood a luxurious office.
The city lights sparkled outside, but inside the room, the atmosphere felt cold enough to freeze blood.
The stood in front of a massive window with his back turned.
A giant screen displayed multiple classified files.
Without turning around, he spoke to the man beside him.
“Do you know what the most dangerous weapon in the world is?”
He pressed a button on a remote.
A blurry image of a young woman appeared on the screen.
“Not the weapon you can see.”
His voice echoed through the room.
“It’s the one you never notice until it’s too late.”
The image sharpened slightly.
“This woman’s name is Aru.”
The Kingpin’s eyes narrowed.
“Six years ago, she was one of the military’s greatest assets.
The most disciplined.
The most talented.”
His expression darkened.
“Then one night, she betrayed her comrades and vanished as if she had never existed.”
“Some say she’s dead.”
“Others believe she’s still alive.”
“But the truth is…”
He slowly turned around.
The room fell silent.
“She doesn’t merely complete missions.”
“She erases them.”
“Her mastery of disguises is so terrifying that she could stand right in front of you, kill you, and disappear before you ever realized who the murderer was.”
“Hahaha…”
The Next Assignment
Without wasting any time, the old man placed five files on the table.
“Your next options.”
Aru sat down and opened them one by one.
India: Steal an ancient diamond protected by elite security.
Reward: $20 Million.
Africa: Maintain constant surveillance on a high-value target.
Reward: $55 Million.
Romania: Retrieve a stolen dog.
Reward: $70 Million.
Aru burst into laughter.
“Seventy million for a dog?”
She shook her head.
“What am I now?
A pet ninja?”
The old man took a slow puff from his cigar.
“That isn’t just a dog.”
“It’s the most treasured possession of one of Germany’s wealthiest families.”
“They’d sacrifice their entire fortune to get it back.”
Aru shrugged and picked up the remaining files.
South Korea: Eliminate a family and make it appear as an accident.
South Korea: Eradicate an entire bloodline.
Reward: Blank Check.
The room became silent.
Aru carefully studied the final file.
The moment she saw the address, a frightening gleam appeared in her eyes.
A twisted smile slowly spread across her face.
She slipped the fifth file into her jacket.
“Forget the diamonds.”
“Forget the dog.”
She stood up and walked toward the exit.
“The bloodline job…”
Her smile widened.
“That one sounds far more interesting.”
Outside, a black car waited for her.
She stepped into the darkness.
“South Korea…”
Aru whispered softly.
“I’m coming.”
