Anyway, Yu Xi has to silently thank Ruo Yun for her dance performance.

Ruo Yun’s dance is indeed a good template to “replicate.” At the very least, Ruo Yun’s talent was definitely much better than all the other trainees in the dance studio combined, bar Yu Xi, of course.

Yu Xi had watched the singing and dancing performances and listened to the music so many times—well, thirty-three times to be exact—and yet the performances did not provide much help to her, at least not until it was Ruo Yun’s turn to dance and sing the song out.Full novel: Kiss or Die — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

At the time Ruo Yun was performing on stage, Yu Xi had to sort out all the things in her head again to complete the “perfect” presentation for her performance after Ruo Yun’s.

However, even if it were so, Yu Xi’s dance performance was still different from all the other trainees.

It was also different from Ruo Yun’s.

When it was her time to perform, Yu Xi had subconsciously changed some of the movements in the so-called “simpler version” of the dance that the trainees had performed.

Some of the movements in the original dance videos were changed to simpler ones that were practiced by the trainees for this trainee assessment.

For example, a movement that needed two consecutive waves in the original dance video was changed into one wave in the simpler version of the dance performed by the trainees.

And now, Yu Xi, who has a great perception of dance due to years of practice in her past, has unconsciously corrected these kinds of things that had been simplified to a more advanced version.

The timing of the song is even more unsettling because of the beat and the more advanced dance movements.

Because this song must be sung and danced at the same time, many people will find that their breaths will become unstable, and they will pant or miss some lyrics in between singing the whole song.

But this kind of problem never happened to Yu Xi.

There were not many trainees in the dance studio who could sing the high notes in the song, but Yu Xi sang everything so perfectly without vibrato.

Her voice sounded clean and light.

Very magnetic.

After the song ended, everything ended in a deafening silence.

The whole audience had turned so quiet that anyone could have heard a pin drop if one were to fall to the ground.

One of the seven members of the Wild Card, Ding Ren, was the first to wake up from his stupor, and he let out a cough to get everyone’s attention before giving Yu Xi a sincere compliment, “Very good.”

Then, these two words were followed by applause from the audience.

“Wow…”

“Is she really Yu Xi?

She… She is not a fake Yu Xi, right?”

“Where did this person come from?

Why do I have no impression of her before this?”

“Wow, she is simply awesome!

Why do I feel like her dance is much more standard and better than the ones shown in the dance video?

Is that weird?”

“Just how fast is this Yu Xi progressing?

With such speed and talent, I fear that no one would be able to beat her.”

“I am in love with her voice.”

“Just how could this kind of person remain invisible in the past?

This kind of talent should have been known to others long ago, right?

This does not make any sense to me.”

There was a lot of discussion in the audience, and the silence quickly turned into an uproar.

Ruo Yun frowned deeply as she listened to the praises of Yu Xi from all over the place in silence.

She then glanced up to fix her eyes on the shining girl on the stage.

Wen Han slightly furrowed his brows at the noise as he calmly stated, “Please give us some time to discuss.”

As soon as Wen Han finished speaking, the other members of the group huddled together and started discussing their thoughts.

The only problem was, why did the rest of his members talk so animatedly and so concentrated on someone?

Another thing to add was: why is the object of their discussion on who would come out on top of this trainee assessment so obvious?

As soon as Wen Han gave an input into the discussion and asked his team members who they thought had the best performance, seven pairs of eyes, including his own, immediately glanced in Yu Xi’s direction.

The answer was definitely too obvious.

It was a unanimous vote, with no sort of argument or even the slightest clash of ideas.

Does this mean that the girl in front of him will automatically come out on top in this trainee assessment without any suspense?

Although most people present do recognize Yu Xi’s strength in this assessment from her previous performance, they still felt that something was strange.

In fact, this whole situation was just strange in itself.

Can someone really suddenly do a 180-degree reversal and make so much progress in so little time?

And there is most definitely more than one person who has this idea stuck in their heads.

Wen Han straightened his face as he faced all the trainees in the room, opened his lips, and said, “Okay, we have now finished our discussion.

The trainee with the highest score in the assessment time is—”

Although Wen Han has not yet named the candidate with the highest score in the trainee assessment, his eyes have already landed on Yu Xi, so the result of the discussion of the Seven Princes of Spectra is very obvious.

It was Yu Xi.

The person who came out on top was Yu Xi.

But then, before Wen Han could say Yu Xi’s name, a sharp voice interrupted him.

“Wait a moment!

Stop!” Qin Lu Lu suddenly stood up from her seat with a little anger and panic on her face.

She, Qin Lu Lu, will not allow this farce to continue!
