Deep within the secluded, gravity-altered domain of the Hyperbolic Chamber, Master Kaizo stood amidst intense, crushing atmospheric pressure.

The chamber’s environmental control was dialed to an insane 10,000x Earth’s gravity.

Despite the brutal force flattening the surrounding stone into dust, Kaizo completed his forms effortlessly, his body emitting a steady, blinding pressure that crackled like blue lightning across the training floor.Full novel: LEGENDS : Beyond the imagination — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Finishing his session with a heavy sigh, he stepped out into his private cybernetic armory.

Equipping his high-tech cyber suit, he pulled his signature blade, Kai, from its magnetic sheath on his back.

The moment his hand gripped the hilt, a towering, shining specter of ancient aura materialized behind him, crackling with raw, unmatched energy that caused the entire armory wall to vibrate.

Meanwhile, at the newly acquired high-tech Lockout Base, Sha and Rihasa were lounging on plush leather sofas in the main living room, completely absorbed in a high-octane video game on a massive holographic screen.

The room was littered with snack wrappers and empty soda cans.

BEEP!

BEEP!

BEEP!

A loud, piercing alarm tone echoed through the main living quarters.

Exchanging confused glances, the two boys paused their game and headed up the glass elevator to the command center on the top floor.

The main terminal sparked to life, displaying a direct video transmission from Master Kaizo.

For the very first time, Master Kaizo was not wearing his iconic mask.

He had sharp jawline features, striking white eyes, and messy, fluffy blue-white hair.

“WOAH!” Sha yelled, pointing directly at the screen in disbelief.

“You look so cool without the mask, Master!”

Rihasa squinted, leaning closer to the holographic display with his arms crossed.

“Cool? I don’t know man… blue hair, white eyes, sharp jaw… he looks like an alien. Definitely an alien.”

“He is not an alien!” Sha argued back, waving his hand.

“He’s just built different!”

“How can you be so sure?” Rihasa retorted quickly.

“We literally fought a giant alien monster named Mika just a few days ago! Anything is possible in the Powerverse!”

Tez walked into the command room, tying his arm wraps tightly.

“I actually like the cyber suit and blade. He looks a bit like BoBoiBoy Fang Master.”

“RIGHT?!” Sha laughed loudly, slapping his knee.

“I thought the exact same thing!”

“ENOUGH OF YOUR STUPID CONVERSATION!” Master Kaizo’s voice boomed through the surrounding speakers, a visible vein popping on his forehead.

“I did not build you a multi-million-dollar headquarters for you to sit on your rear ends all day! It has been fifteen full days since the Frera incident, and you haven’t done a single shred of training! I explicitly told you never to drop your guard!”

Sha rubbed the back of his neck nervously.

“Come on, Master, give us a break… we’re taking a little rest…”

“A REST?!” Kaizo barked back, his white eyes flashing.

“It has been two whole weeks! Have any of you lazy fools bothered to check the base’s Help Box?!”

Tez raised an eyebrow, tilting his head.

“Help Box?”

“Yes! The central distress terminal on your console where citizens across the region send emergency complaints and rescue requests!” Kaizo snapped.

Sha shrugged, looking unbothered.

“I mean… who would even message us? Nobody even knows we have a base here yet.”

Rihasa tapped the central holographic terminal.

Instantly, a bright red notification counter popped up and began flashing wildly.

“Uh… guys… there are 126 unread messages from Site 1, Pova City.”

Kaizo’s sarcastic expression turned dead serious in a second.

“126?! Read them immediately! What on earth is happening in Site 1?!”

Tez stepped forward and tapped the terminal to open the most recent distress transmission:

[DISTRESS SIGNAL – POVA CITY, SITE 1]

“Please, Legends! If anyone is reading this, help us! Pova City has turned into a living nightmare over the past week! Horrible monsters and rogue creatures have flooded the streets, killing innocent civilians for no reason! We are living in absolute hell! Please save us!”

“An organized army of creatures?” Kaizo muttered under his breath, his white eyes narrowing thoughtfully.

Rihasa took a step back, shaking his head frantically.

“Whoa, whoa! Hold on! We aren’t going anywhere! What if there are monsters as strong as Mika out there?!”

“Or worse… what if they are even stronger?!” Sha added, swallowing hard.

“We barely survived the last fight!”

Tez looked at his two companions, then turned to look at his own clenched fist.

“It doesn’t matter how strong they are. We took on this responsibility when we called ourselves heroes. Unfortunately, we have to clear this problem.”

Kaizo watched Tez closely through the feed.

“You sound reluctant. Why call it ‘unfortunately’?”

“When I first started this journey, I thought being a hero was all excitement, fighting, and glory,” Tez said quietly, looking down at his knuckles.

“But after seeing how close we came to dying—how close I came to losing my family—I realized the true fear of this path. To protect the people we care about from these monsters, we have no choice but to make ourselves stronger.”

A rare, subtle smile crossed Master Kaizo’s unmasked face.

“Hmm. For the first time since I met you, I actually like your point.”

“Tell us, Master,” Sha urged, leaning forward.

“How do we get stronger faster? What’s the secret?”

“Pure physical training alone will not force your Mythic Powers to evolve,” Kaizo explained, crossing his arms.

“You need real combat experience, raw guts, and the extreme pressure that triggers last-minute evolution—just like Tez experienced during his battle.”

“So… the stronger the enemy we face, the stronger we become?” Tez asked.

“Correct,” Kaizo nodded.

“Provided the gap between you and the enemy isn’t so absurdly vast that you get vaporized instantly. Now stop wasting time and move!”

Tez turned to Sha and Rihasa, his determination rekindled.

“Pack your gear. We’re heading to Site 1, Pova City.”
