Horne never imagined that while everyone else transmigrated smoothly, he would be cursed with the worst luck imaginable—spawning right in front of the final boss.

The man before him wore a sharp white suit, a matching white fedora, and possessed an unsettling, sickly pale complexion that made him look remarkably like Michael Jackson.

Crimson demonic eyes glared at Horne with one part curiosity and nine parts sheer disdain, sizing up this human who had materialized out of thin air.Full novel: Legion of One: Transmigrating Every World at Once — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Standing around five-foot-nine, Horne had a solid, upright posture and clear signs of physical training.

With sharp, handsome features and piercing eyes, he looked every bit the rugged tough guy.

“Who are you?”

Muzan demanded in a venomous tone.

Horne was already sweating bullets, knowing full well who this monster was: the Demon King, Muzan Kibutsuji.

He was a petty, psychopathic bastard who lacked both humanity and charisma; a monster consumed entirely by the cowardly pursuit of immortality, yet pathologically narcissistic, spiteful, and vindictive.

He indulged in unleashing torment upon humanity, devouring flesh as the Demon King while corrupting innocent mortals into demons forced to cannibalize their own kind…

a thoroughly depraved, irredeemable scumbag.

And more crucially, Horne’s transmigrator cheat had not arrived yet.

(What the hell should I do…

Beg for mercy just to stay alive?

Bow down to this piece of shit?!

Even if I crawl on my knees, would a trash-bag like him spare my life?!

No!

He definitely won’t!

He won’t give a flying fuck about sparing me!)

Meanwhile, Muzan’s patience ran completely dry.

“I asked you a question.

Are you deaf?”

Horne’s expression hardened, his mind made up.

“Muzan!

Go eat shit and die!!”

Horne reared back and threw a wild punch straight at Muzan’s face—though there was zero chance of it actually landing.

Before his fist could even travel an inch, Muzan snapped his arm like a dry twig and clamped a vice-like grip around his throat.

“I intended to interrogate you about where you came from, but now you die.

And it will be agony.”

With his crushed windpipe, Horne stubbornly forced out three ragged syllables: “…Fuck…

your…

mother…”

Even at death’s door, he refused to beg, proving himself a hardcore bastard down to his bones.

At that instant, Muzan pumped his lethal blood directly into Horne’s body.

Muzan’s blood was extraordinarily corrosive; while capable of transforming humans into demons, excessive amounts would melt mortal flesh and kill instantly.

Muzan had deliberately flooded him with enough demon blood to kill him ten times over.

The moment the demon blood coursed through Horne’s veins, it violently corroded and shredded his cellular structure.

His body began rotting and dissolving at a visible rate, spreading from his limbs and skin through his torso and internal organs, torturing him with unimaginable agony.

Yet, through torment that would drive any sane person mad, Horne never let out a single whimper.

Robbed of the grotesque spectacle he had hoped to enjoy, Muzan found it boring, turning on his heel and walking away, leaving Horne to rot in the snowy forest.

In excruciating pain, would Horne’s life really end here in this foreign world, dying alone and helpless…?

Hell no!

Horne’s life was tough as fucking nails!

Just as his consciousness flickered on the edge of the abyss, his delayed golden finger finally kicked in.

Time slowed to an absolute standstill as a notification flashed across his mind.

[Simultaneous Transmigration System online.

Current World: Demon Slayer.

All at once, Horne’s consciousness and sensory perceptions split cleanly in two.

The surging multiplication of spiritual and vital energy pulled him back from the jaws of death.

The catastrophic breakdown of his body ground to a halt; bolstered by this foreign influx of vitality and willpower, his cells rapidly began adapting to the lethal demon blood.

The demon blood burned away as fuel, while Horne’s mortal vessel evolved in response.

Eventually reaching an equilibrium, Horne’s flesh successfully weathered the corruption of Muzan’s blood.

Then came the transformation, as the demonic essence remodeled his fragile human anatomy into that of an apex demon.

Horne’s body regenerated at breakneck speed, granting him the demonic resilience that could only be extinguished by direct sunlight or decapitation via a Nichirin Blade.

What would be fatal trauma to a mortal was reduced to a trivial scrape that mended in mere seconds.

Once the regeneration concluded, this vessel had completely transformed into a true demonic body.

Why specify “this vessel”?

Because the Simultaneous Transmigration System literally allowed Horne to exist in multiple universes at the same exact time.

One unified consciousness controlling multiple physical bodies scattered across distinct dimensions.

This meant Horne possessed backup bodies; even if one perished, his existence carried on in another.

Though this physical form had become a demon, his other body was completely untouched!

The combined spiritual potency generated by two linked vessels was more than enough to crush the predatory madness and mental degradation of turning into a demon.

Better yet, through the system, the raw attributes of his bodies stacked onto each other, while weaknesses never transferred between them.

But all of that had to wait, because this demon body was ravenously hungry, instinctively craving human flesh and blood.

While Horne’s boosted mental fortitude suppressed the urge for now, leaving it unchecked would prove disastrous down the line.

Furthermore, he had to secure shelter before dawn broke to shield himself from the sun and steer clear of the Demon Slayer Corps.

Even if he didn’t feed on humans, the demon slayers whose sole purpose was extermination would never pause to hear him plead his case.

Draped in tattered, blood-drenched clothes, Horne trudged alone through the unfamiliar snowy wilderness in search of a sanctuary.

Only then did Horne have the bandwidth to shift his focus toward the body stationed in the JoJo universe.

Unlike the pitch-black night in the world of demons, here it was broad daylight, right at high noon.

He stretched his limbs; this new body was an exact duplicate of his original self—not a demon shackled by the shadows, but a normal human vessel immune to the sun.

His mind executed seamless multithreading across both bodies, an uncanny sensation unlike anything he had ever known.

It was only possible because having two physical forms meant having two physical brains.

Essentially, the system had linked two brains in parallel.

Horne stepped out from a deserted alleyway, well aware that this was the JoJo universe.

However, he had no idea what specific city or era he had landed in.

Depending on the timeline, the adversaries he would face varied drastically.

Then he spotted it—in an abandoned construction site stood a towering high school delinquent, well over six-foot-five, packed with dense muscle and sporting a thick golden chain.

With invisible kinetic force, the youth was casually snapping the bones of a pack of malicious punks attempting to jump him.

Clearly, the hulking student with the golden chain was equally bewildered and disturbed by this inexplicable phenomenon.

Seeing this, Horne strolled directly toward him.

“Are you Jotaro Kujo?”

The delinquent turned his sharp gaze toward Horne.

“You here to pick a fight too?

But I suggest you back off, or you’ll end up broken like the rest of them.”

Jotaro Kujo had a righteous heart beneath his gruff exterior, but his blunt demeanor always made his warnings sound like arrogant provocation.

Horne understood his personality inside and out, stepping casually into his lethal striking range without hesitation.

“The gears of destiny are already turning.

Jotaro, this power of yours is called a [Stand].”

With that, Horne threw a punch straight at Jotaro, only for an invisible arm to smash his forearm into splintered fractures with a sickening crunch.

“Hey!

What the hell is wrong with you?!”

Jotaro was utterly bewildered by Horne’s suicidal stunt.

But right before his eyes, the man’s shattered limb began mending with monstrous, unnatural velocity.

“As you can see, you don’t need to hold back.

My regenerative power is ridiculous; a minor fracture heals in seconds.

Now, let’s have a proper brawl.”

Horne grinned broadly.
