In an instant, the torrential 70,000 experience points surged like a storm, filling Jiang Yun's experience bar to the brim.
However, regrettably, his level did not increase.
"[Since you have not completed the first transformation, your level is sealed and cannot be upgraded. Excess experience will accumulate in a hidden form.]"
The system notification sounded. Although there was a hint of disappointment, Jiang Yun was secretly relieved that at least these precious experience points were not lost and could be used to level up smoothly after the first transformation.
He estimated that these 70,000 experience points should be enough to raise him three or four levels, greatly enhancing his strength.
Jiang Yun quickly picked up the spoils on the ground one by one.
Five pieces of equipment came into view. Two were of Mundane Grade lower tier, and three were Basic equipment. Unfortunately, none of these were suitable for his magic-based class, so he had no choice but to store them in his inventory.
He then examined the other items.
There was a Basic Level 1 skill book, [Mount Hua Cleave], for physical classes; and another, [Low-Level Iron Armor Aura], also a skill exclusive to physical classes.
"(#‵′) Damn!"
Jiang Yun couldn't help but be speechless.
Even after triggering Lucky Stars Shine, which increased the drop rate tenfold, none of the items dropped by the BOSS were usable for him. He didn't know whether to consider this luck good or bad.
There were also three gem-like items: low-level Intelligence, Strength, and Constitution Gems, which could be embedded in equipment of the first transformation or higher to enhance attributes.
Clearly, these were also not something he could use at the moment.
Fortunately, the system awarded him an additional 20 attribute points, equivalent to a four-level attribute boost, which he quickly allocated.
10 points to Intelligence, 5 to Spirit, and 5 to Agility, instantly boosting his attack power to 520, increasing his mana cap to 230, and raising his movement speed to 5.2.
At this moment, he could push open the heavy bronze door and clear the level at a perfect grade, with a chance to challenge the final BOSS.
But recalling the difficulty of the ordinary BOSS just now, Jiang Yun couldn't help but feel a bit apprehensive.
If he rushed in recklessly, the odds of winning might not be great.
Moreover, of the thirty-some Maitreya Rock Dolls he had left, more than half were already low on health, with only a few still in full condition.
He decided to rest and let the Maitreya Rock Dolls fully recover, while also using his talent effects to see if he could summon more Maitreya Rock Dolls to assist.
Jiang Yun continuously consumed mana potions, casting the Summon Maitreya Rock Doll skill as soon as the cooldown was over, and kept refreshing his talent effects.
The first round of luck wasn't great. It wasn't until the time limit reached 5 minutes and 30 seconds that he managed to trigger Good Fortune, summoning only two more Maitreya Rock Dolls.
Finally, heaven rewarded his efforts, and he triggered Lucky Stars Shine again, increasing his Maitreya Rock Doll count to over 40, while the previously battled dolls had mostly recovered.
Jiang Yun checked his inventory and found only twenty-one bottles of Level 1 Mana Potion left, while the Level 1 Health Potion remained untouched, with two full stacks totaling 100 bottles.
But for his magic-based class, mana potions were far more important than health potions.
Taking a deep breath, Jiang Yun gathered his spirits, leading his 49 fully recovered Maitreya Rock Dolls, and resolutely pushed open the bronze door, stepping inside.
As soon as he entered, the system notified Jiang Yun that he had completed the level at a perfect grade, and even if he left now, the rewards would not be reduced.
But Jiang Yun had no time to care about that; his eyes were fixed on the mercury-like lake ahead.
There, a golden dragon coffin floated, surrounded by eight dragon-phoenix eternal lamps. Inside, surely lay the final BOSS—the Qin Emperor's Corpse!
Fortunately, there seemed to be no other minions guarding it, only this final BOSS resting here.
Jiang Yun wasted no time, controlling a Maitreya Rock Doll to charge forward, intending to trigger the final BOSS slumbering in the golden coffin.
When the Maitreya Rock Doll was ten meters away from the golden coffin in the mercury, a thunderous crack sounded, and a bolt of lightning struck down, hitting the Maitreya Rock Doll's head.
The Maitreya Rock Doll, with 4000 health points, had no time to react and was instantly killed, shattering into a pile of scorched stones.
"Who dares disturb my eternal slumber?"
A majestic and solemn voice slowly emanated from the golden coffin, echoing throughout the space.
Jiang Yun was stunned by the sudden change.
"(#‵′) Damn! Is this a joke? A Maitreya Rock Doll with 4000 health points got one-shot by a single skill? This is too ridiculous!"
With a crisp "crack," the golden coffin suddenly loosened, the lid flew open, and a figure clad in a black dragon robe, wearing a dragon crown, with skin as white as snow and an immensely powerful aura, slowly sat up from the coffin.
Though Jiang Yun was intimidated by the Qin Emperor's Corpse's formidable aura, he quickly used Level 1 Ghost Eye Insight to examine it.

"Kneel and submit to my judgment!"
The Qin Emperor's Corpse, exuding overwhelming presence, looked down at Jiang Yun and all the Maitreya Rock Dolls as if they were ants.
It moved swiftly, floating out of the golden coffin, hovering half a meter above the ground, like a deity descending.
Having learned the weaknesses of this elite BOSS through Ghost Eye Insight, Jiang Yun's initial fear turned into delight.
A BOSS without resistances, no matter how powerful its output, was not to be feared as long as it was susceptible to control skills.
"Ants, bow before my feet!"
The BOSS shouted a domineering line, pointing towards Jiang Yun and the others, instantly gathering a violent wind energy.
With a thunderous "boom," a terrifying tornado formed, like a giant python, sweeping away rows of Maitreya Rock Dolls.
Eighteen Maitreya Rock Dolls were caught, swallowed by the tornado, and upon landing, were completely obliterated, reduced to rubble.
"Damn! Such swift and fierce attacks!"
The sudden loss of over a dozen Maitreya Rock Dolls shocked Jiang Yun.
It wasn't that he was slow to act, but rather that his casting range wasn't as long as the BOSS's.
With the BOSS's higher level and skill level, its casting range was naturally much farther than Jiang Yun's.
Jiang Yun had already acted decisively, controlling the remaining Maitreya Rock Dolls to scatter like skirmishers, then surge forward like a tidal wave, charging at the BOSS.
Meanwhile, Jiang Yun himself did not charge forward like the Maitreya Rock Dolls but instead retreated backward.
After all, the BOSS's attack power was terrifyingly extreme, and even a basic attack was not something he could withstand.
