My eyes unfocused, and everything around me seemed blurry.
All I knew was Tigris working hard, sucking the saliva from my mouth, while Jor drank down my overflowing fluid.
Their hands explored every inch of my body.
The beastmen’s sharp nails scared me a little at first, but somehow they left no scars and caused no pain at all.
Instead, as the pleasure intensified, my own nails dug deeper, scratching hard lines across Tigris’s back.
“I am addicted, Lily. From now on, if I could only drink your nectar, I think I could survive for a hundred more years,” Jor murmured against my skin.
I couldn’t even moan or yell.
The scent in the air was thick and lewd, and I couldn’t stop my body’s natural reactions from taking over.
“Ahhh, I’m… it’s…it’s coming!” My body arched helplessly, losing all modesty, while Tigris shifted his attention back to my breasts.
Nursing aggressively, he sucked as though he were pulling my very soul from my body.
But every time his teeth grazed my skin, my body jolted, bringing me back to reality for a split second before I quivered in pleasure again.
Finally, all my limbs relaxed, and I simply stopped caring.
I wanted it just as badly as they did.
“Wait, it is my turn,” Tigris growled, trying to position his manhood, but the thousand year old serpent wasn’t about to lose his spot.
“No, you monopolized her all last night,” Jor countered, pushing forward to claim the space with his own thick, ridged length.
They split my legs wide, pressing their heavy weight against me.
The tips of both their members crowded the entrance, fighting to win the race to get inside, when a sudden voice rang out from the mouth of the cave.
“Lily! are you in there? I bring my family…”
Donna roar from the cave entrence, the actual cave entrance….
SLAP
SLAP
I yank on a clean t shirt and hot shorts in a rush, stepping outside unsteady on my feet.
Grinning like nothing’s amiss, I gesture her over.
“Welcome, Donna, come sit. I’ll have my mates start a fire right away.”
The she beast doesn’t shift an inch.
Instead she tilts her head and starts sniffing the air around me.
“Look at this riled up female. I pegged you for the bashful sort hiding indoors in daylight, hehehe.”
My cheeks burn hot as a fever.
I dodge her teasing and wander off to gather a handful of potatoes to save face.
Tigris and Jor trudge out next, hauling sacks of salt and piles of dry firewood.
Bright red blotches mark both their cheeks, their breaths still ragged from whatever happened earlier.
“Tigris, get the fire going. Jor, wash these potatoes and hand over one of your scales I’ll do the chopping myself.”
Jor shakes his head and backs off, hefting the potato sack alongside another male beastman.
“Nope, Lily. Spit out your exact orders, and I’ll handle every task perfectly.”
Before long, Mara’s whole clan rolls up.
Several young beast cubs and the same patrol guards from our last encounter linger nearby, watching every move closely.
“Jor, bring out all that cured fat we saved these past few days,” I say.
Mara leans forward curiously.
“Fat? What do you plan to do with all of this?”
“Fat makes the simplest oil with basic primitive methods. I had Tigris carve this giant stone wok a few days back, though I’m not certain it’s sturdy enough for cooking.”
I picked every slab of stone for the massive pot straight from the cave, double checking for cracks or hidden air pockets.
With no iron or proper crafting tools available, this rough stone wok is our only option.
I soaked it fully underwater to watch for escaping air bubbles, and once none surfaced, I deemed it usable.
Still, the last thing I want is for it to blow apart over open flame.
I hang back several paces from the fire.
These beastman boast strength a hundred times mine, after all.
Sorry Jor, you get stuck with the risky job.
I glance his way with an apologetic stare, he blinks back pure innocent confusion.
“Dump all the fat inside, nice and slow. Keep the fire from blazing too high!” I call from my spot sitting beside Donna and Mara.
Cubs bounce and dart around the cooking pit, earning gentle head smacks from their fathers to steer clear of the open flames.
“Wife, look! Liquid’s oozing out from the fat!” Jor calls calmly.
Tigris shoves in behind his shoulder, only to get his face pushed away.
“Let me see! I’ve got the stirring tool Lily asked for!”
“Wow, you finished the spatula? It’s beautifully crafted!” I beam.
“Leftover large tusks from your old flute making supplies became the raw material for the utensil, just like I’d requested.”
“Use that spatula to continuously stir and flip the fat to stop it scorching. Take it slow, careless rushing could make the whole wok burst.”
An hour passes.
All solid fat shrinks and floats atop clear, translucent rendered oil.
“Hand over those pre sliced potato strips, I’ll fry them myself!” I hold out my hand confidently, turning down Jor’s repeated offers to take over frying duty.
Jor frowns worriedly.
“This is your first go at frying. I’ll demonstrate first, then you copy my steps. It’s far too risky otherwise.”
I drop thin potato batons into the simmering oil first, saving thicker wedge cuts for later.
Rich savory aromas drift upward as the oil bubbles steadily.
I snicker quietly to myself, traditional McDonald’s fries originally used rendered beef tallow after all, so these ought to taste close.
Once golden, I nod toward Tigris.
“Tigris, grab a tool and fish these fries out carefully, drain extra oil onto clean animal hide, then dust everything with salt.”
I clap my hands once all prep finishes.
“Ta da! Homemade potato fries!”
We gather in a tight circle around the food.
Each beastman grabs a fry to sample.
Mara chews slowly then lights up.
“This is incredible!”
Donna nods quickly while munching, “I want another serving right away!”
The surrounding cubs yap loudly, bouncing on their paws.
“More More! More!”
One of the beast husbands turns to me with a wide grin.
“You’ve made a fantastic meal, Lily.”
I scratch the back of my neck and huff out loud.
The guard from earlier steps forward, picks up a fry and takes a slow bite, eyes widening instantly.
He swallows then turns straight to Lily with genuine awe.
“This potato dish might keep our whole pack from starving through the harsh winter.”
Lily snorts and jokes lightly, “I was only messing around when I made these, didn’t think it’d be that vital.”
None of the surrounding beastman catch her playful tone, every single one taking her words dead serious.
The guard bows respectfully.
“May we bring a portion back for our clan chief? He must sample this miracle food at once.”
Lily shakes her head to halt their plan immediately.
“Hold off on passing the frying recipe around for now. Rendering fat and frying over open stone wok is risky and can cause burns or accidents. Only my mates who’ve learned step by step under my guidance are allowed to make fried potatoes for the time being.”
She softens her tone and carries on speaking clearly for everyone gathered to hear.
“But I’ll teach you safer preparation ways instead. You can toss raw potato chunks right into fire embers to roast them.”
“Or fill bamboo tubes with sliced potatoes and clean water, then boil them over flame for one or two hours, that’s far less dangerous.”
All beastman lean in, listening intently.
One young guard tilts his head and asks earnestly, “Can these potatoes be preserved and stored for a long time?”
“If you store them properly and ration sparingly, they’ll easily last months, all the way until spring comes,” Lily answers.
“You have preserved salted meat too, right? Sprinkling salt improves their taste greatly.”
Her expression grows stern as she adds a critical warning.
“One crucial rule to never forget, never eat sprouted potatoes. Even the tiniest faint green sprout means the root has gone toxic. Consuming spoiled sprouts can kill you.”
A hush falls across the crowd.
Every beastman’s eyes blow wide with pure shock and fright, several cubs whimper and shrink back against their parents’ legs after hearing the deadly risk.
The guard’s face drains pale with lingering fear after Lily’s warning.
“Toxic? Are you certain these things are safe to eat then? What if clueless beastman copy your cooking blindly and end up getting themselves killed?”
Low worried murmurs ripple out among the surrounding beastman.
Tigris steps forward and speaks in a measured, wise tone to calm the unrest.
“That’s exactly why I suggest you break the news carefully to the tribe. Start by teaching your chief first, then explain every detail slowly so no one misunderstands. We don’t have to lock this knowledge away entirely, just keep it within our own tribe as a secret. Plenty of these potatoes grow across the nearby mountains, and other clans won’t easily find or harvest them anyway.”
He puffs out his chest, a cocky, smug grin stretching across his features as he glances around.
“This is all my wife’s doing. Lily’s incredibly clever and talented.” His overly proud arrogant look comes off distinctly annoying to everyone nearby.
Donna quickly chimes in after a moment of silence.
“You’re right, these fries taste wonderful, warm and perfectly seasoned without excess salt. I’ll send my mate over to learn these potato methods from yours.”
Mara nods alongside her right away.
“Same for my husband as well.”
