In front of the Black Templars monastery, the seventeen Crusaders still stood in a neat formation.

Leo didn’t rush to send them away.

His eyes landed on the Battle Brother standing at the front.Full novel: Lord of All Empires: My Summons Came From Warhammer — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

The System panel expanded.

[Black Templars Battle Brother]

[Tier: 4]

[Combat Power: 300]

[Passive: Fearless]

[Immune to mental negative states such as fear, intimidation, and psychic shock!]

[Damage dealt to all hostile units increased by 30%!]

“Hmm?”

Leo’s eyes stopped on the panel.

The first skill was already ridiculous.

Complete immunity to crowd control!

And a 30% increase to all damage dealt!

But that was only the first one.

The panel continued downward.

[Passive: Demigod Body]

[The modified powerful physical body hardly feels fatigue.]

[Possesses agility, reaction speed, and visual observation capabilities far surpassing a Mortal!]

[When taking ranged attacks, damage is reduced by 40%!]

Leo’s eyelids twitched.

“Forty percent?”

He looked at it again.

He hadn’t read it wrong.

A 40% reduction against ranged damage!

What did that mean?

The most basic lethal weapons used by Regular soldiers:

Bows and arrows.

Firearms.

Magic missiles.

Even the ranged units that the vast majority of players had now.

Against the Black Templars, their damage would be reduced by a huge amount!

Then the third skill appeared.

[Passive: Melee Mastery]

[When fighting with melee weapons, weapon damage dealt is increased by 30%! High probability of suppressing enemy units.]

[Melee attacks come with armor-piercing effects!]

Leo fell silent.

Another 30% increase!

Ranged attacks couldn’t easily break through them.

And once enemies got close, they had to deal with a monster whose melee attacks could pierce armor!

And then there was the last skill.

[Passive: Battle Brother]

[When multiple Black Templars combat units fight together, the beliefs between them will form a combat resonance!]

[For every qualified Black Templars combat unit present, self attack power increases by 2%, and damage taken is reduced by 2%!]

[Maximum stacking: 40%!]

“…”

Leo stared at the panel.

“Holy shit!”

The words came straight out of his mouth.

No wonder they were so expensive!

“They’re fucking expensive for a good reason!”

Increased damage.

Armor penetration.

Crowd-control immunity.

Ranged damage reduction.

And up to 40% total damage reduction!

What kind of infantry was this?

“This fucking thing is a war machine!”

The damage reduction system in Galaxy wasn’t based on simple addition.

First, all-type damage reduction was calculated.

Then, additional reductions targeting specific types of damage were applied.

Once the Black Templars’ [Battle Brother] passive was fully stacked, the first layer would reduce incoming damage by 40%.

Then, when facing ranged attacks, another 40% reduction would be applied.

For example, if an attack originally dealt 100 points of ranged damage:

After the first 40% reduction, only 60 damage remained.

Then another 40% was removed.

The actual damage that reached the Black Templar would be only 36 points!

Leo’s eyes grew brighter and brighter.

Then his gaze moved lower.

Wait.

Why were there still debuffs?

[Modified Organ Missing debuff – Geneseed defect originating from the Imperial Fists, unable to secrete strongly corrosive saliva.]

[Modified Organ Missing debuff – Geneseed defect originating from the Imperial Fists, missing the Sus-an Membrane, unable to enter a state of suspended animation after severe injury.]

[Personality Flaw debuff – Psychological and behavioral tendencies caused by the geneseed traits of the Imperial Fists, extreme emphasis on will, discipline, and endurance of pain, with a probability of choosing to fight to the death and not retreat when the Commander orders a retreat.]

“Tsk, tsk, tsk. The stubborn stones of the Imperium really live up to their reputation.”

Fortunately, these debuffs weren’t particularly serious.

The important thing was that a Crusader Squad was only the beginning.

Twenty Black Templars could stack the damage-reduction passive all the way to its maximum!

“Good stuff…”

Leo licked his lips.

“Where are the players?”

“Where are all those players nearby?”

“I’ve got a huge treasure here.”

“You guys better take a good look!”

Leo was already looking forward to the expressions on the players’ faces when they first encountered the Black Templars.

Suppressing his excitement, Leo noticed Yarrick talking with the Battle Brother.

One was the legendary Political Commissar of the Armageddon Steel Legion.

The other was an elite veteran of the Black Templars.

The two stood side by side.

The difference in their size alone was obvious.

Yarrick noticed Leo looking at them and immediately turned around.

“Your Excellency,Lord Commander.”

“Political Commissar.”

Leo opened the map.

The southern region quickly expanded across his vision.

Three points of light appeared.

[Tier 3 Iron Mine]

[Tier 3 Gold Mine]

[Tier 3 Sulfur Mine]

This was the latest intelligence sent back by the Rangers.

Three Tier 3 neutral resource points!

And they were conveniently connected to one another.

Leo placed his finger on the map.

“I need you to lead the warriors of the Steel Legion and continue clearing out the xenos.”

Yarrick’s crimson prosthetic eye glowed faintly.

“My honor, Your Excellency.”

“Five hundred Regular infantry.”

“All Grenadiers.”

“All Political Commissars.”

“Plasma Squad.”

“Missile Launcher Squad.”

“All of them are assigned to you.”

One organization command after another appeared.

[Steel Legion Infantry: 500]

[Grenadier: 50]

[Political Commissar: 5]

[Plasma Gunman: 50]

[Missile Launcher Trooper: 30]

Total:

Six hundred and thirty-five combat units!

Plus Yarrick.

Six hundred and thirty-six!

Leo looked at the newly assembled troops.

“Starting today…”

“This regiment will be called—”

“The 1st Armageddon Regiment!”

Yarrick slowly straightened his body.

His Power Claw tightened.

“My honor.”

Yarrick turned around.

The hem of his military coat fluttered behind him.

Orders were quickly transmitted.

Inside the territory, Steel Legion units began assembling one after another.

Five hundred Regular infantry.

Fifty Grenadiers.

Fifty Plasma Gunmen.

Thirty Missile Launcher Troopers.

Five Political Commissars entered their respective queues.

The first expedition of the 1st Armageddon Regiment officially began!

Leo watched as the troops headed south.

Almost all of the heavy firepower of Armageddon under his command had been concentrated into this regiment.

With Yarrick leading them against three Tier 3 resource points…

There shouldn’t be any major problems.

Leo still had his own business to take care of.

He turned his head.

“Astartes!”

Heavy footsteps echoed.

The Battle Brother’s tall body was incredibly imposing.

The chains hanging from his black power armor gently clinked as he walked toward Leo.

He stopped in front of him and straightened his body.

“Your Excellency,Lord Commander.”

“Please state your orders.”

Leo raised his head.

The corners of his mouth slowly curled upward.

Behind him, the sixteen other Black Templars Crusaders stood in formation.

“Hold your weapons tight.”

“Come with me.”

“Let’s slay the xenos.”
