Li Wu felt wronged!

Why did others have a 100% critical hit talent, while his was so useless that it didn't even trigger when chopping rabbits?

If he had a 100% critical hit, he wouldn't need to party up. With good control, he could even take down a Giant Rabbit with just a single hit or even without getting hurt.Full novel: Mandatory Gaming Era: Forced to Become a Max-Level Boss — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

"You actually don't need to party up."

Li Wu looked at the innocent face of Spicy Rabbit and sighed. Then, amidst her confusion, he explained:

"When kiting, you can use Fireball twice, which is 100 points of damage.

Then switch weapons for an initial Power Strike of 68 damage, followed by a normal slash of 42 to finish it off.

During this time, you only need to endure one attack from the Giant Rabbit.

Moreover, I just observed that when the Giant Rabbit is hit by a Power Strike, there's a slight knockback effect. If you react quickly and jump to the side, then strike back, you might not even get hit. I can help you test it out."

Spicy Rabbit had never played games before, listening with a vague understanding, but she got one thing clear and asked anxiously, "Are you saying you don't want to team up with me?"

"It's not that I'm carrying you! With your 100% critical hit, you don't need to party up. I don't want to take advantage of a little girl."

"No, no. You're not taking advantage of me. I don't know how to play games, and this game feels so real. I got bitten to death once before, and it hurt so much. I'm scared..."

The little girl might really have a trauma, almost in tears, afraid that Li Wu wouldn't team up with her.

"Hey, don't cry! You really can solo the Giant Rabbit."

"I'm scared~ Waa~~ I'm afraid of rabbits, I'm afraid of starving~~"

The little girl wasn't faking it; she was genuinely scared to tears, making Li Wu quickly look around, afraid of being misunderstood.

"Stop! I'll team up with you!"

"Really?"

"Yeah."

"Thank you, Invincible Cute Tuan brother."

"Uh, just call me Tuan Bro, skip the Invincible Cute part."

"Thank you, Tuan Bro."

"Actually..." Li Wu hesitated for a moment, then decided to say:

"Actually, if you're scared, you don't need to rush to fight monsters. Just stay in the village for enough online time, and once the restriction period ends, you can contact your classmates or friends. By then, whether they carry you or give you better equipment, you can farm Giant Bunnies without getting hurt."

"I can't do that, Tuan Bro. I planned to do that before, but this game has a Fullness Value. I starved to death once, and that hunger felt so real, even worse than being bitten by a Giant Rabbit."

"Isn't there Novice Bread?"

"Not enough. This game is so annoying. Even if you die, you can't restore Fullness Value. It consumes 2 points per hour. I've been in the village for 8 hours, and I've already eaten three black breads. If a kind aunt hadn't given me two more, I'd be starving again."

Hearing Spicy Rabbit's explanation, Li Wu glanced at his own status in surprise, finding his Fullness Value had dropped from 10 to 7.

Calculating the time, he'd been online for exactly an hour and a half.

Thinking of the black bread costing 50 copper coins (five bucks), Li Wu quickly called Spicy Rabbit to start fighting monsters.

This isn't black bread! It's clearly a game time card, costing three bucks and thirty-three cents per hour.

How much is it for 12 hours a day?

The second Giant Rabbit was taken down by the two without any danger, but still didn't drop anything.

Li Wu got bitten twice, grimacing in pain.

With such high output from the little girl, Li Wu naturally wouldn't let her get bitten. Besides, as an adult man, he was embarrassed to let a little girl tank the monster.

If she cried from being bitten, should he comfort her or not? What a waste of time!

But looking at the 10,000 experience needed to reach level 1, Li Wu grimaced again.

The developers of Blue Star Online are heartless!

Even if soloing, a single Giant Rabbit only gives 40 experience, needing to kill 250 to level up.

With him and Spicy Rabbit in a party, they need to kill 500 Giant Bunnies to level up.

And this is just from level 0 to 1!

Is this a game made by humans?

Although the game's so-called True Pain isn't like in reality where a dog bite would hurt for days, it still hurts when you take damage.

Thinking about needing to be bitten by a Giant Rabbit 996 times to reach level 1, Li Wu's face turned green.

He must change tactics!

Li Wu crouched on the ground, eyes glowing green, staring at the distant Giant Rabbit, summarizing the attack methods and damage of both the Giant Rabbit and the two of them.

A minute later, Li Wu came up with a strategy, explained it to Spicy Rabbit, and began grinding monsters.

The two simultaneously cast Fireball from the farthest distance, then ran back together. After the cooldown, Li Wu turned to cast a second Fireball, while Spicy Rabbit continued running forward.

When Li Wu's second Fireball hit, the Giant Rabbit's health dropped to 100 points. Li Wu then switched weapons and unleashed a Power Strike, reducing the Giant Rabbit's health by another 34 points.

The knockback effect of the Power Strike, though slight, was enough to interrupt the Giant Rabbit's actions and attract its aggro.

Li Wu didn't continue attacking, quickly retreating while the Giant Rabbit was momentarily stunned. Meanwhile, Spicy Rabbit, who had run a bit further, finally cast her second Fireball.

The high damage shifted the Giant Rabbit's aggro to Spicy Rabbit, abandoning the nearby Li Wu.

As the Giant Rabbit chased Spicy Rabbit, Li Wu slashed its backside, taking the final 16 points of its health.

[Ding, killed a Giant Rabbit, gained 20 experience.]

A flawless kill!

The strategy worked, and Li Wu couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief, as he also feared the pain.

This was actually the second strategy. Before this, Li Wu had an even more efficient flawless strategy, but unfortunately, the little girl's timidness prevented its success.

Li Wu's ideal strategy was for both to kite using Fireball, then simultaneously use Power Strike after two Fireballs, allowing them to take down the Giant Rabbit without a scratch.

Unfortunately, the little girl was too scared. Facing the Giant Rabbit's teeth up close made her legs go weak, always a step too slow, causing Li Wu to get bitten.

The pain forced Li Wu to come up with another strategy.

What a damn game, just fighting the lowest-level monster burned so many brain cells. How would he not go bald fighting a boss?

With the flawless strategy, the two began steadily killing bunnies.

The Fullness Value hung over their heads like the sword of Damocles. Li Wu would never consider spending money, and the little girl Spicy Rabbit didn't have a bank card!

Finally, on killing the 9th Giant Rabbit, they got their first drops, and two items at that.
