“Good girl, save me—I will take responsibility for you.”

Late at night, in the suburban woods.

A tall, slender black shadow endured the bone-deep torment in his body and reached out to grab Ye Xixi, who had fled here while being chased by her aunt. In her panic, Ye Xixi tried to kick him away, but his grip was strong. Taking advantage of her raised leg, he flipped over and pinned the petite, pitiful girl beneath him.Full novel: Married in a Flash Right After Getting Pregnant, the Beastly President Uncle is So Pampering — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Ye Xixi couldn’t move. She blinked her bright, beautiful eyes in terror at the man holding her down. Under the broken moonlight above, the face of the handsome man, whose consciousness was hazy, was illuminated. His features were chiseled and exuded an air of cold nobility, with deep, intense exotic contours that rivaled those of mixed heritage. Long, dense eyelashes cast shadows like butterfly wings beneath his eyes, making him appear so exquisitely handsome and noble he hardly seemed real.

Yet, despite his unparalleled beauty, the man looked exceptionally pale under the moonlight.

Was he ill?

Ye Xixi’s mind went blank for a moment before she belatedly realized—wasn’t this man Lu Peishen? The number one Imperial President of the elite circles in the capital, Lu Peishen!

The crush she had secretly admired for years—what was he doing here?

Stunned and incredulous, Ye Xixi stared at him in a daze. In her distracted state, the handsome man, under the influence of a drug, forcefully took the girl beneath him in his blurred consciousness.

Because, if he didn’t find a woman to relieve him at that very moment, he would die a violent death.

A full hour passed… time seemed to stand still.

Ye Xixi felt as if her entire body had been run over by a steamroller, the pain unbearable. Finally, when the man stopped, the broken moon above vanished behind a thick layer of clouds.

Voices calling Lu Peishen’s name echoed nearby. Terrified of being caught and even more afraid that Lu Peishen would see the ugly scar on her face, Ye Xixi pushed him away despite the pain, hastily put on her dress, and fled the dense woods in agony.

Ye Xixi was actually very beautiful, but after her parents passed away and she moved in with her aunt, her aunt intentionally splashed a cup of scalding hot water on the right side of her face.

Since then, an ugly hypertrophic scar from the burn had marred her right cheek.

The scar protruded like a fleshy growth, starkly clinging to her face, frightening anyone who saw it.

That was why she couldn’t let Uncle Lu see her ugly self.

After Ye Xixi left, an unknown amount of time passed before the unconscious man finally awoke. Opening his eyes, his originally black pupils instantly revealed the sapphire blue of a werewolf under the moonlight, but the hue quickly faded away, hidden once more.

As he stood up, his assistant, Shao Bai, who had arrived late, hurriedly handed him a clean shirt. “President Lu, I’m sorry. We fell for their decoy tactic, leaving you alone here. Are you alright?”

“I’m fine, thanks to a girl.” During the time he was under the drug’s influence, his vision was too blurry to clearly see the face of the girl beneath him.

He only caught a faint, pleasant scent of pear blossoms, reminiscent of a familiar smell he had encountered before?

Lu Peishen deftly put on the shirt, straightened his trousers, and noticed a spot of blood on the grass. It was likely virgin blood, so… had that girl been a virgin?

The thought that he had taken a girl’s first time weighed heavily on him. His expression turned stern as he said in a deep voice, “Find her. I must take responsibility for her.”

Shao Bai replied respectfully, “Yes, President Lu.”

One month later, inside a bridge tunnel during a heavy rainstorm.

Ye Xixi, covered in dirt, clutched a pregnancy test report she had just obtained from the hospital and sat sorrowfully on a filthy blanket.

She had been hiding here for a month—her aunt had been relentlessly searching for her, intent on selling her to South Africa for diamond mining. The profits would fund her aunt and cousin’s lavish lifestyle, but Ye Xixi wasn’t foolish enough to be sent to such a wretched place. So, she continued to hide.

Initially, she had felt grateful for her aunt’s care after her parents’ death. But upon discovering that her aunt had seized her parents’ substantial death compensation—leaving her with nothing—her gratitude vanished. Over the years, she had endured meager meals, often just cold rice with water, and occasional vegetable leaves without any meat. Frequent scoldings and beatings followed. Though she once wished to repay her aunt’s kindness, the harsh reality of her life there extinguished any sense of obligation. She resolved to consider the compensation as settling their familial debt, vowing never to acknowledge her aunt again.

Now, however, her immediate concern was survival. With not a single coin in her pocket, Ye Xixi stared despondently at the torrential rain outside. What could she do? Hiding indefinitely wasn’t feasible, especially with a baby on the way. She couldn’t attend school, and childbirth would pose its own challenges. Eventually, her aunt would track her down. The thought of her aunt’s vicious demeanor sent a chill down her spine, and she hugged her arms tightly.

Suddenly, she couldn’t hold back and vomited violently beside her.

Ugh… it was unbearable. Why was her morning sickness so frequent? And she was starving—she hadn’t eaten anything the entire previous day. So famished that even the cockroaches scurrying on the ground seemed like potential roasted snacks. Whimpering, she clutched her growling stomach and burst into tears.

Just as Ye Xixi was caught between vomiting and crying, hurried footsteps echoed from outside the bridge tunnel. Assuming it was her aunt, she tensed up and sprang to her feet, ready to flee. But as she stood, she saw not her aunt, but a handsome, dignified man holding a black umbrella, stepping slowly out of the shadows.

The man, Lu Peishen, held the umbrella steadily as he approached, his gaze gentle and pitying as it fell upon the grimy girl huddled under the bridge. Was this really the once-glorious and elegant heiress of the prestigious Ye family, Ye Xixi? His eyes darkened with unspoken sorrow. How had she fallen to such a state?

“Ye Xixi,” Lu Peishen called out, his brow furrowed with concern, his strikingly handsome face filled with compassion. Ignoring the filthy puddles around the tunnel, he strode through the murky water in his expensive leather shoes, closing the distance between them quickly.

Reaching the pitiful, disheveled girl, he lowered his black umbrella and asked in a deep voice, “Why are you living here?” He remembered she was supposed to be staying with her aunt, who often boasted on social media about her charitable act of raising her niece. How could she end up sleeping under a bridge? Her dress was tattered, her face and arms smeared with grime—Lu Peishen guessed she had been here for some time.

“Ye Xixi,” he repeated softly when she didn’t respond.

As soon as the words were spoken, Ye Xixi, who was already feeling wronged, instantly burst into tears. In that moment, all the grievances and pain buried in her heart came pouring out.

Forgetting the ugly scar on her face, she knelt down and hugged his leg, sobbing, “Wuwu, Uncle Lu, I’m hungry, I’m so hungry.”

Seeing this, Lu Peishen immediately crouched down and glanced at her face. He noticed a dark, grimy scar on the right side of her dirty cheek?

He frowned slightly, puzzled. He remembered that when he had seen her before, there had been no scar on her face.

But now was not the time to dwell on that. The young girl looked utterly famished.

He quickly supported her slender, frail body.

Gently but firmly gripping her, as if afraid she might run away, his intense gaze remained fixed on her. She was so thin—had she been eating at all?

“Don’t cry, I’ll take you to get something to eat. How did you end up here?”

Ye Xixi was overwhelmed with misery, tears streaming down her face uncontrollably. Why did she have to run into the man she secretly admired in such a wretched state? Ye Xixi thought morning sickness was already miserable enough, but having Lu Peishen witness her pitiful condition made it even worse.

“My aunt was going to sell me off, so I ran away.”

“I have no other home… so I’ve been hiding here all this time.”

So that was it. Lu Peishen understood and let out a soft sigh. “Then, would you be willing to come back with me?”

Go home with him?

Ye Xixi blinked her teary, wide eyes and stared at the handsome man before her. Why would he want to take her home?

Just as Ye Xixi was frozen in shock, she gagged—

She was hit by another wave of morning sickness.

Fortunately, since she hadn’t eaten, there was nothing to vomit. But at that moment, Lu Peishen noticed the prenatal checkup slip in her hand.

He took it and glanced at it. There was a small gestational sac visible, and his eyes darkened instantly. “Ye Xixi, is this… my child?”

Ye Xixi didn’t dare answer, biting her lip and blinking her teary eyes as she looked at him with a pitiful expression.

“It’s mine, right?” Lu Peishen checked the date and said, “Last month in the dense forest—that girl was you.”

Ye Xixi still didn’t dare admit it. Lu Peishen had no choice but to soften his expression and smile gently. “Don’t be afraid. I told you I would take responsibility.”

“Ye Xixi, come home with me and marry me, okay?”

Ye Xixi was stunned. Go home with Lu Peishen? And marry him? Why?

“Why?” Ye Xixi asked foolishly. “And I… I have no money… and I’m ugly.”

Lu Peishen reached out and, without any disgust for her grimy state, gently stroked her messy, fluffy long hair. “Do you want our baby to become a homeless child?”

“Besides, my grandmother has been urging me to get married.”

That was one reason, but the truth was, he was relieved that the girl from that night was her.

Ye Xixi was… the young girl he had liked.

He had been thinking about her for a long time.

Moreover, members of the Wolf Clan were bound to one partner for life. Once an adult Wolf Clan member had relations with a girl, his body would absorb her pheromones. From then on, he could not touch any other female, or he would die a violent death.

This made the loyalty of the Wolf Clan even more steadfast.

So, Ye Xixi was destined to be his lifelong Wolf Clan wife.

Ye Xixi didn’t know that Lu Peishen liked her. She only thought he wanted to marry her to appease his grandmother and because she was pregnant.

But it didn’t matter. Right now, she just wanted a home to live in, a chance to continue her studies, and to escape her vampire-like aunt.

If the baby could have a father… and Lu Peishen didn’t mind her, then she would get married!

“Then… then I agree.” Ye Xixi blinked her moist, dewy eyes, her fingers tightly clutching the expensive velvet trim of Lu Peishen’s suit.

From now on, Uncle Lu would be her great benefactor.

She would remember this kindness for the rest of her life. From now on, she would do anything Uncle Lu asked.

She was willing to move heaven and earth for Uncle Lu, even if it meant crashing through walls with a bang, bang, bang!!!
