Williams’s POV
I dropped my phone and burst out laughing.
The irony was absolutely beautiful.
That bitch Miriam was being destroyed in real-time, and I didn’t even have to lift a finger.
All those videos from the livestream were disappearing from the internet except for the one Nadia had sent to me.
There were so many people who wanted to tear her down that I barely needed to do anything.
“Will, I can’t believe this is happening right now,” Nadia said, her eyes glued to her phone.
“It’s spread everywhere online. It’s only a matter of time before that bitch regrets her actions.”
I couldn’t control my laughter.
It came from deep in my belly, shaking my entire body.
“I mean, one minute she was announced as CEO, and now everyone is against her,” I managed to say between laughs.
“This is perfect. This is absolutely perfect.”
Nadia looked up from her phone, her expression thoughtful.
“I wonder who Miranda is. Can we perhaps meet her?”
I stopped laughing and got serious immediately.
“Meet her?”
“Yes,” Nadia said, dropping her phone beside her on the bed.
“If she’s so interested in destroying that bitch, we could contact her and find out what her plans are. I saw online that she’s allegedly Victor Ashford’s ex.”
I stood up from my seat and walked over to the bed where she was lying.
I sat down beside her.
“Really? An ex?” I asked, my mind already working through the possibilities.
“Yes, I think that’s the main reason she started that livestream,” Nadia said.
“She probably wants revenge on both of them.”
“Ohhhh,” I said slowly, the pieces falling into place in my head.
This was another golden opportunity.
If Miranda had information about Victor, if she knew his secrets, if she was willing to expose him, then I could use her.
I could work with her.
I could coordinate with her to bring both Victor and Miriam down at the same time.
“So where do we contact this lady?” I asked.
Nadia suddenly sat up and straddled my thigh, her movements deliberate and seductive.
“First, let’s deal with this hunger throbbing in my pussy,” she whispered.
I grinned and immediately reached under her blouse, unhooking her bra and tossing it aside.
I lifted her blouse and sucked in her breast, savoring the taste of her skin.
She closed her eyes and moaned softly, grinding her hips against my thigh.
“Oh Williams, right there. Suck me hard,” she begged.
I squeezed her other breast as my mouth worked on the one in front of me.
I was completely absorbed in the moment when my phone suddenly rang, interrupting everything.
“Ohhh,” Nadia moaned in protest.
I picked up my phone and checked the caller ID.
It was Lily.
Right.
We were supposed to meet today.
“We’ll continue this and discuss the Miranda situation later tonight. I need to get somewhere.”
“Where are you going?” she demanded, her voice petulant.
I smiled and kissed her again.
“I’ll tell you when I get back.”
She nodded reluctantly as she got off me.
I quickly got dressed and left the room without another word.
I answered the phone as I got into my car and pulled out onto the street.
“Hi baby, I’m on my way already,” I said.
“I have a surprise,” Lily said excitedly on the other end.
“I saw the livestream that went viral. I found someone we could use for our plan.”
“Woah, Nadia just mentioned the same thing,” I said, hitting the gas.
“Ignore that bitch,” Lily said dismissively.
“What connection does she have? I found Miranda’s direct page and sent her a message, but I got no reply.”
“Damn, you’re so quick. I love you, babe,” I said, screaming alone in the car with pure excitement.
“Get here fast,” Lily said urgently.
“I have three lawyers waiting here. I discussed the contract diversion with them. We’re building a case against Victor.”
“Alright baby, I’ll be right there in a few minutes,” I said.
I ended the call and hit the steering wheel happily.
This was perfect.
This was absolutely perfect.
“Just you wait, Victor,” I said to myself, driving through the city streets.
“I’m going to destroy you and your favorite bitch.”
Victor’s POV
I watched the livestream from my car, my hands folding so tightly that my knuckles turned white.
I’d already ordered every single video from that livestream to be deleted from every media platform.
Every video except the one Karen had sent to me.
I needed to see what Miranda was saying.
I needed to understand her strategy.
That whore.
She didn’t know when to quit.
“Drive straight to Miranda’s private residence,” I ordered coldly to my driver, keeping every nerve in my body under control.
I couldn’t afford to lose my composure.
Not now.
Not when Miriam was upstairs, probably scrolling through her phone, probably starting to doubt me.
Miranda doesn’t know what I’m capable of.
I could destroy her in seconds if I wanted to.
I could erase her from existence.
But I had principles.
I had boundaries.
And I wasn’t going to cross them just because she’d made a mistake in attacking my wife.
My phone rang, interrupting my thoughts.
It was D’law, one of my informers.
He worked inside Lily’s law firm as an insider, feeding me information about their activities.
“Hello, D’law,” I said, expecting news but not necessarily action from that corrupt lawyer just yet.
“Prosecutor Lily has called in other lawyers about the contract case regarding Williams.”
I closed my eyes and rubbed my forehead.
Of course.
Williams was making his move.
He was being so predictable.
So pathetic.
So obvious.
“Thank you for this information, D’law,” I said calmly.
“Yes, Mr. Victor. They’re planning to sue you for the contract diversion,” he said.
I chuckled, finding the whole situation amusing.
The rage building inside me lightened a bit as I thought about how easily I could dismantle their case.
“Let him bring it on,” I said coldly.
“I always win at the end.”
The call ended.
I thought about what Miriam had said at the office two weeks ago.
That bastard Williams had stripped her of everything.
He’d taken her parents’ inheritance, her money, her properties.
He’d foolishly believed that all the deals connected to her belonged to him.
But some of those deals were actually mine.
Some of those contracts had my name on them.
He was such a dumb fool.
The car slowed down as the electronic gate to Miranda’s residence opened.
The same gate she’d had for years.
The same gate that had been the entry point to her life of lies and manipulation.
The car entered her property- a residence built on her body and her lies.
I got down from the car, completely unimpressed by her false wealth and hollow luxury.
Her attendants bowed the moment they saw me step out.
“Get your boss out here,” I said coldly.
“And all of you can capture this moment and post it online. I know one of you is doing that already because that’s what she pays you to do.”
I’d hit the nail on the head.
I could see the effect of my words on their faces.
They scrambled, clearly panicked.
Slowly, the front door opened, and she stepped out.
Miranda.
She was dressed in an expensive designer dress, her hair perfectly styled, her makeup flawless.
She looked powerful and confident.
But I could see the calculation in her eyes.
The strategy.
The desperation hiding beneath the polish.
“See who we have here,” she screeched, her voice high-pitched and sharp.
“My man.”
