*Bang Bang Bang*

Waking up to the sound of his motel door being pounded on, Nick pulled his gun and cautiously opened the door only to see Dean crouching down and beginning to lock and pick his door.

“Somethings come up, me and Sam have got to go quick.” Dean said quickly.

With a nod, Nick quickly went back into the motel room and brought the journal back to Dean and watched as the man quickly got into his Impala and sped off with Sam in the passenger seat.

Nick knew it would be impossible for them to follow their show’s original plot, but he wished the Winchester brothers the best.

Having already been woken up, Nick cleaned himself up and left the motel in his dented up car, decided to go through the to-do list he made after reading the journal.

Going to a jewelry shop, he bought a ring made of pure iron and a silver rosary.

The ring would allow Nick to always be able to affect ghosts somewhat while the rosary allowed him to create holy water and perform exorcism but the silver also had effect on a majority of supernatural creatures.

Taking the silver cross to a blacksmith, he had the bottom of the cross be turned into a blunt point that didn’t look out of place on the rosary but would help him greatly if he had to stab it into something.

While John never wanted to deal with ghosts or demons as they couldn’t be absorbed, he was a complete idiot not to prepare for them.

With himself more prepared for dealing with the supernatural, Nick felt much better and only had one more thing to do before he set out to recruit Bobby Singer.

Driving back to the Best Buy, Nick bought a laptop before stopping at a nearby Starbucks, ordering a coffee and sitting down at a table.

Using their free wifi, he made a stock portfolio and started browsing the NASDAQ.

In his past life, Nick was very interested in stocks, thinking that he could become rich without any effort.

Of course it ended with him losing hundreds of dollars before stopping but this life is different, he knew the future!

‘Stark industries stock is at an all-time high right now but that won’t last for long!

In the Iron Man movie, Tony Stark gets kidnapped and when he escapes he realizes the effects his weapons have on the world, refusing to sell any more military weapons.

The movie doesn’t touch on the subject, but surely if a weapon manufacturer stops manufacturing weapons, his company’s stock will hit rock bottom!

After buying as much stock as I can, Tony will become the world-renowned superhero “Iron Man” and the company’s stock will rise drastically, carrying me into wealth!’

This would be an opportunity Nick fully planned on capitalizing on, but he sadly had to wait for it so he started to browse for which company he should invest in right now.

“Holy shit!” The more Nick scrolled down on the NASDAQ, the more his body was covered in sweat.

Besides the normal companies that appeared in both worlds, Nick saw companies that only appeared in movies.

‘Umbrella corporation!

Cyberdyne Systems!

Weyland enterprise!

All of these companies originate from dangerous fictional stories!

Just how much shit is going on in this world!’

While these companies did raise his concern about the world he was living in, Nick already knew that the Marvel World casual had world ending threats every few months that eclipsed those threats and could only let out a sad sigh.

He had already come to terms and accepted living in a world where godlike beings could consume planets, he didn’t fear the addition of zombies or aliens.

It would be akin to having been swallowed whole by a whale but being the most afraid of the octopus that it had also swallowed.

Scrolling for a bit more, Nick didn’t remember anymore companies of importance so decided to invest in the three organizations, despite their dubious reputation.

‘The reason these organizations are so evil and dangerous is because they work the way they intended!

Umbrella corporation is still the number one company in Infectious Disease Research, Cyberdyne Systems was so great they created such a powerful AI that it nearly ended humanity and the Weyland enterprise will literally be the face of space travel and androids!’

While it did leave a sour taste in his mouth helping these companies, Nick knew that his investments would be safe for the time being and didn’t care.

Closing his laptop, Nick left the Starbucks and began his long drive to South Dakota, not realizing the conversation being held about him.

*Click clack click click clack…*

Sitting in front of an old type writer, a late twenties 5 ‘8 man was looking at the piece of paper in his hand in complete shock and annoyance.

Throwing the piece of paper into the trash, the man typed away furiously as the clicks and clacks of the machine rang out in his quiet room.

As the machine became silent, the man picked up the piece of paper with shaking hands as he couldnt comprehend the situation.

“This can’t be possible!!

Who is this Nicholas Valentine character and why is he messing up the story!

No matter how many times I try, he won’t be written out of reality…” Crumbling the paper, the man stood dumbfounded.

The ‘man’ hadn’t come across this problem in his entire existence, to be able to ignore his ability to rewrite reality was a direct threat to his existence and he couldn’t allow that!

“If this man can’t be written out of reality, then I’ll just write in another character that will guarantee to kill him!

Should I ask Yahweh to send an archangel and Smite this human?

No I can’t ask for another favor, I’ll just sending a group of leviathan to deal with him before he becomes strong enough to threaten my existence!”

Regaining his confidence, the ‘man’ cockily walked over to his type writer as he began thinking of the story to write, only to be stopped dead in his tracks.

*CLICK CLICK CLACK CLICK….*

The type writer that he used had begun to write on its own, sending a chill through the man’s spines.

Standing before the type writer, the ‘man’ couldn’t sense anything and it frightened him beyond belief!

After a full minute of the type writer clacking, the machine went still as the ‘man’ walked over and picked up the piece of paper.

[Dear Chuck, I have a bet going with my friend &1@$#3+_?)#2@ about the survival of Nicholas Valentine, so please don’t interfere with this mortal’s life.

As my Champion in this world, any attack against Nick will be considered an attack against me, resulting in your total and complete annihilation.

-P.S.

I love your books, keep up the good work.

Collapsing to the ground, the god felt like someone had smashed his brains in when he read the name written on the piece of paper.

He felt the immense power emanating from that language that was unknown even to him, he began to quiver at the power of this invisible unseen being who wrote it.

Chuck, one of the many gods in this world, slowly sat back down in his chair and carefully threw the piece of paper away to not read it again.

Taking out a fresh piece of paper, Chuck’s face became sour as he realized that his perfectly planned out stories wouldn’t come to be as this one man could operate outside of his control.

“…Well at least this will make the story a surprise even for me….” Chuck said to himself, trying to find anything to help remove the bitter taste of defeat and powerlessness from his mouth.

“Nicholas Valentine huh….

I’ll have to keep my eyes on him.”
