Harlem was a paradise for criminals.
Countless crimes took place every single day, and even worse than the crime itself was racial discrimination.
Because of the large number of Latino immigrants and illegal immigrants, most of the people living in Harlem were Black.
And because of the district’s chaotic state, outsiders discriminated against everyone who lived there.
Because most of the people here were Black, they believed that the outside world discriminated against Black people, and in turn, they discriminated against other races.
Verbal abuse and beatings were commonplace.
If you were an outsider, weren’t Black, and were alone or with only one or two other people, you were almost guaranteed to be robbed.
Even if you had no money, they would rip off your clothes and humiliate you.
But at this moment, when faced with this group of people emerging from the alley, no one dared to approach them and follow the usual routine.
Because there were simply too many of them.
There were roughly three hundred people in total, filling the entire street and blocking the road.
They were also dressed alike, and the sheer force of their presence was intimidating.
More importantly, every single one of the hundreds of people was carrying a Thompson submachine gun.
Faced with such a group, the locals could barely run away fast enough.
How could they possibly dare to cause trouble?
Only an idiot would do that!
Bullying the weak while fearing the strong and looking for isolated targets to rob was the way these street punks survived.
They hid inside the shops along both sides of the street, poking their heads out to observe the situation while whispering among themselves.
“Where did these guys come from?”
“Their presence is completely different from the local gangs like the Vipers, Savage Gang, and Gunfire Negotiators.
They look more like the Mafia from Manhattan!”
“Who knows?
But there’s definitely going to be a good show!”
“Yeah, yeah.
For all these years, outside gangs have wanted to swallow up the forces here, but no one has ever succeeded.
Not even the U.S.
military!”
“They’re here!
They’re here!
The Savage Gang is coming!”
From the other side of the street, an equally large group appeared.
Most of them were Black men.
They wore short-sleeved T-shirts, exposing muscular arms and upper bodies covered in various tattoos.
Most of the weapons they carried were rifles such as M16s and AK-47s.
Some particularly muscular men even had belts of ammunition wrapped around their bodies while carrying heavy machine guns.
They looked extremely fierce.
“Take them out!”
When the two sides were about two hundred meters apart, the leader of the Savage Gang—a man with a muscular bare torso—waved his hand.
His men immediately scattered, some hiding inside the alleys along the street while others rushed directly into buildings.
Then, without the slightest hesitation, they unleashed a torrent of firepower.
Harlem was already saturated with criminal organizations.
There was no room for another force to come in and take a share of the pie.
Whether the newcomers wanted peaceful negotiations or negotiations through gunfire, the final outcome could only be one thing.
One side would have to die.
When two enemies meet on a narrow road, the braver one wins.
Many people understood this principle.
The two sides were approaching each other along a straight street.
Whoever fired first would have the advantage.
The Savage Gang leader didn’t hesitate and ordered his men to attack without the slightest concern for fair play.
For a moment, gunfire erupted.
The entire sky above Harlem seemed to echo with the sound of bullets.
And the enemy…
That group of people who had appeared from nowhere and looked like some kind of Mafia organization also began collapsing into pools of blood.
“Fire!
Fire!
Fire!”
The Savage Gang leader held a heavy machine gun and swept it across the enemy while shouting excitedly and directing his men.
His gang members became increasingly enthusiastic as they fought, eventually pulling out an RPG rocket launcher.
Five minutes.
The Savage Gang continued firing for a full five minutes.
The ground was littered with spent shell casings, while the street had long since been enveloped in gun smoke.
Through the haze, vague outlines of bodies could be seen lying motionless in pools of blood.
“That’s it?”
The Savage Gang leader stepped out from behind the wall and burst into arrogant laughter.
“With this level of strength, you actually dared to come to Harlem?
Who gave you the courage?”
The street fell silent.
Only the Savage Gang leader’s laughter echoed through the air.
Suddenly, a voice came from behind him.
“Yeah.
With this level of strength, how have you managed to occupy this place for so long?”
The voice was calm and unhurried, almost devoid of emotion.
The arrogant laughter abruptly stopped.
The Savage Gang leader froze.
Then he suddenly turned around and opened fire.
“AAAHHH!!!”
“Boss, it’s us!”
“Why?!”
Hearing the familiar voices of his men, the Savage Gang leader quickly stopped firing and stared ahead.
There were no enemies behind him!
There were only his own brothers, lying in pools of blood, writhing and screaming in agony.
“What the hell is going on?!”
The Savage Gang leader’s eyes widened, and a hint of panic appeared on his face.
“It’s an illusion.”
The calm voice came from behind him again.
The Savage Gang leader repeated the same move, abruptly turning around and firing wildly.
This time, there were no allies behind him.
There was no way the same thing could happen again.
“Pfft!”
The moment he turned around, someone descended from above.
A steel trident pierced straight through his shoulder, using the force of the impact to pin him firmly to the ground.
“Don’t move!”
“Don’t move!”
“Don’t move!”
Men dressed in suits suddenly appeared behind every member of the Savage Gang, their Thompsons pressed against vital points.
What was going on?
Every member of the Savage Gang stood there dumbfounded, completely at a loss.
It wasn’t until one of the suited men smashed a gang member to the ground with the butt of his gun that the others finally reacted.
They hurriedly dropped their weapons, put their hands over their heads, and crouched down.
“What the hell is going on?!”
“Who are you people?!”
After failing to struggle free, the Savage Gang leader gritted his teeth and glared at the man standing before him.
The man had blue pineapple-shaped hair tied into a ponytail that reached all the way to his hips.
He was tall and imposing, yet his physique was perfectly proportioned.
He wore black, skin-tight leather pants and a white dress shirt, with a black trench coat reaching down to his calves.
His tie hung loosely around his neck.
His delicate face seemed to carry a permanently sinister smile.
But what attracted the most attention were his blood-red eyes, each bearing the character “Six.”
The mysterious and sinister gaze made anyone who looked into them feel a chill run down their spine.
“Small fry should have the awareness of small fry.
Just obediently play your role as an extra and die.
Why ask so many questions?”
He smiled.
“You’re acting as if you’re some kind of important character.”
“You…”
The Savage Gang leader was furious, but he couldn’t say anything more.
The man was smiling at him.
Those mysterious blood-red eyes gave him the terrifying sensation of being watched by Hell itself.
“Mukuro!”
A steady voice came from behind.
The man called Mukuro glanced backward.
Three meters behind him stood a mixed-race young man with golden hair and orange eyes, yet yellow-toned skin.
Behind the young man stood a group of people whose clothing and appearance could only be described as strange, yet all of them radiated an intimidating presence.
Mukuro’s smile didn’t change.
He casually asked, “…What is it?”
“Let me handle this.”
The young man’s voice was calm, but there was an unquestionable authority in it.
“Then I’ll leave it to you!”
Mukuro withdrew his trident and smiled as he stepped aside.
When the Savage Gang leader looked at the young man, he immediately sensed the unmistakable aura of a leader.
Everyone seemed to revolve around him.
“I am Tsunayoshi Sawada, the Tenth Boss of the Vongola Family.”
The young man calmly introduced himself to the Savage Gang leader before continuing.
“From this moment onward, Harlem belongs to the Vongola Family.”
“You can choose to submit, or you can choose to refuse.”
“Regardless of your choice, the Vongola Family will respect your decision.”
“But whether we bring destruction or prosperity to you is also our choice.”
“I hope you can respect that as well.”
