After saying this, Leon Veyron tossed the phone back to Coulson.

If you’re going to bargain, don’t bother coming back.”

“Come back first.

We’ll talk later.”

Before Coulson could react, Fury’s voice came through the phone.

Then came the familiar beep beep of the call ending.

Coulson pursed his lips, shrugged, and looked at Leon.

“Then I’ll see you next time!”

“Yeah.

See you next time.”

Both Coulson and Leon knew that Fury would never give up on obtaining the Sun-Blade.

The only question was what method he would use.

[Ding!

You have obtained 100 Wish Points!]

Just after Coulson left, a mechanical notification sounded inside Leon’s mind.

This was his system—his cheat ability after transmigrating.

That’s right.

Leon wasn’t originally from the Marvel Universe.

He had come from another Earth.

One day, he had simply woken up and inexplicably found himself in the Marvel world.

Fortunately, he had awakened the “Dimensional Puppet System,” which allowed him to draw powerful puppets and items from countless worlds.

The puppets were self-explanatory.

As for items, they included skills, equipment, materials, bloodlines, abilities, and various other things.

Both puppet and item draws required “Wish Points.”

And Wish Points were obtained by collecting various emotions from intelligent beings toward things produced by the system.

Surprise, fear, shock, excitement, disgust…

Any kind of emotional reaction would do!

Clearly, this was a system that loved causing trouble.

After learning how Wish Points were generated, and considering how many powerful beings existed in the Marvel Universe, Leon decided to follow the principle that staying alive was the most important thing.

He would hide behind the scenes and let his puppets cause trouble to gather Wish Points.

Fortunately, his beginner’s gift package had given him the puppets of Muzan Kibutsuji and the Twelve Kizuki.

After receiving confirmation from the system and personally conducting several tests, Leon had determined that absolutely no one could discover the connection between himself and the puppets.

And so the recent merciless cannibalism incidents had begun.

Of course, Leon wasn’t completely insane.

He had given the puppets strict orders.

They were only allowed to target people who deserved to die.

And there were more than enough such people in Hell’s Kitchen.

…

“Open the Status Panel.”

Leon silently issued the command.

A simple window appeared before his eyes.

[Host: Leon Veyron]

[Skills: Swordsmanship Mastery, Sun Breathing]

[Items: Sun-Blade]

[Puppets: Muzan Kibutsuji, Twelve Kizuki]

[Wish Points: 1006]

[Rank: D-Class, Six Stars]

Items referred to things obtained through the system’s draws.

As for ranks…

The system divided individuals according to their strength.

From strongest to weakest, there were nine ranks:

SSS, SS, S, A, B, C, D, E, and F.

Each rank was further divided into ten stars.

Through his previous draws, Leon had obtained Sun Breathing and the corresponding swordsmanship, bringing his strength to D-Class, Six Stars.

He was probably around the same level as the Winter Soldier or Falcon.

Leon had never actually met either of them.

He was only estimating their strength based on the movies he had watched in his previous life and Iron Man’s demonstrated abilities, so he wasn’t entirely certain.

“My Wish Points have broken through a thousand again.

Sure enough, causing trouble is the fastest way to earn them.”

Looking at the number on his panel, Leon couldn’t help sighing emotionally.

He had been in this world for an entire year.

But before this, he had been extremely cautious.

He was worried that powerful beings like the Ancient One might notice him by observing the future or manipulating the timeline, so he had always kept a low profile and avoided making any major moves.

Naturally, his Wish Points accumulated very slowly.

It wasn’t until two months ago, after the system guaranteed—and a series of experiments confirmed—that it was genuinely impossible for anyone to discover the connection between him and his puppets that he finally felt safe enough to let Muzan and the Twelve Kizuki act freely.

In those two months, he had accumulated a little over ten thousand Wish Points.

That was more than ten times what he had obtained during his entire first year.

Sun Breathing and the Sun-Blade had both been obtained through draws using those ten thousand Wish Points.

And now, merely one day later, he had gained another thousand.

“Tony only became Iron Man last month.

The Marvel Universe isn’t that dangerous yet.”

Leon thought for a moment.

“My current strength is enough for the time being.

I’ll summon another puppet first.”

The system allowed one draw for every 100 Wish Points.

Leon immediately performed a ten-pull.

[Ding!

You obtained an F-Class Puppet Fragment!]

[Ding!

You obtained a C-Class Puppet Fragment!]

[Ding!

You obtained an E-Class Puppet Fragment!]

[Ding!

You obtained an A-Class Puppet Fragment!]

[Ding!

You obtained a C-Class Puppet: Otto Suwen!]

…

…

“A ten-pull actually gave me a C-Class puppet!”

Leon was somewhat surprised.

He had performed many draws before, but the winning rate was incredibly low.

Before he had started causing trouble, the Wish Points he had accumulated had only been enough to obtain one Swordsmanship Mastery.

After he began operating more openly, the ten thousand Wish Points earned with the help of Muzan and the Twelve Kizuki had been divided into two batches of fifty-pulls.

All fifty puppet draws had yielded nothing but fragments.

And among the fifty item draws, he had only obtained Sun Breathing and the Sun-Blade.

Yet this time, a mere ten-pull had directly given him a C-Class puppet.

He had to admit that his luck was incredible today.

“It’s a shame I don’t have any Wish Points left.

Otherwise, I’d keep drawing.”

Leon felt a little regretful.

But he quickly composed himself and turned his attention toward the puppet he had just obtained.

[Name: Otto Suwen]

[Occupation: Merchant, Administrator, Butler]

[Skill: Earth Magic]

[Special Ability: Divine Protection of Soul]

[Rank: C-Class, Six Stars]

“So it’s this ‘War God’!”

After seeing the puppet inside the system space, Leon’s eyes narrowed slightly.

This War God, Otto, came from Re -Starting Life in Another World-.

In terms of physical strength alone, he could easily knock out Subaru, whose grip strength was only around sixty kilograms, with a single move.

However, he was still far weaker than a superhuman.

He possessed some relatively weak Earth Magic that could only be used under certain conditions, while his Divine Protection allowed him to communicate with all living things.

However, because his ability was still immature, using it too frequently placed a considerable burden on his body.

This could result in nosebleeds, shock, brain death, and other severe side effects.

Judging purely from his numerical stats, he could barely be considered E-Class.

But Otto was intelligent, calm under pressure, and extremely organized.

Whenever something happened, he could objectively analyze the key issues and find an appropriate solution.

He often cleaned up the messes left behind by the protagonist’s group.

It was precisely this personality and intelligence that led to his numerous ridiculous achievements, eventually earning him the title—

“War God Otto.”

But despite obtaining such an outstanding puppet, Leon found himself troubled.

How exactly could he make use of Otto’s abilities to attract more people’s attention and thereby generate Wish Points?

The puppets possessed intelligence and retained the personalities and wisdom of their original counterparts.

However, they had no true sense of self.

Leon could activate their intelligent mode, allowing them to act freely, or he could descend his consciousness into a puppet and control it himself.

Therefore, he didn’t need to worry about the puppet’s feelings.

But Otto’s abilities weren’t suited for direct combat.

If he tried to play the role of a hero, it would be difficult for him to handle all kinds of unexpected situations.

His personality also wasn’t suited to playing a villain.

Unlike the Twelve Kizuki and Muzan, he couldn’t commit sensational crimes that would shock society and attract massive attention.

Could he…

Send him out to perform on the streets?

With Otto’s ability to communicate with all living things, a street performance would definitely be spectacular.

There would surely be plenty of spectators.

But…

“If I do that, everyone will think it’s just a beast-tamer’s performance.”

Even if people were amazed and applauded, their admiration wouldn’t be directed toward the system-produced puppet, Otto.

It would be directed toward the beast tamer, “Otto.”

And that meant…

He wouldn’t gain any Wish Points.
