With Thanos suddenly vanishing from its path, Odin’s catastrophic energy beam hurtled straight forward.

And caught directly in the crosshairs was Thor.

“No!” Odin roared, immediately cutting off the energy output.Full novel: Marvel: I Am Thanos — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

But Thanos reappeared in a flash, channeling his Power of Destruction to violently shove the lingering energy blast forward.

In the next split second, Thor was engulfed by his own father’s divine wrath.

An agonizing, unimaginable pain ripped through his body.

It felt as though his skin was being incinerated and his internal organs torn to shreds.

“Gaaah!”

With a blood-curdling scream, he was blasted away by the immense force, tumbling helplessly into the deep cosmos.

Seeing his son fall, Odin’s divine power flared, ready to launch himself after Thor.

But Thanos instantly blinked into his path, his massive frame completely blocking the way.

“There.

Now no one will interrupt our fight.”

Odin’s lone eye widened, practically overflowing with absolute, venomous hatred.

This bastard had just nearly killed his son.

He could sense Thor’s life force fading rapidly; if the boy wasn’t treated immediately, the consequences would be unthinkable.

“Thanos!

Die!”

An even thicker, blindingly bright beam of energy erupted from Gungnir.

At the same time, a soft, radiant white aura ignited around Odin’s body—the absolute manifestation of the All-Father pushing his divine power to its utmost limits.

Seeing the incoming blast, Thanos rapidly spun the Tyrant Greatsword, creating an impenetrable shield to block the attack.

Locked in yet another brutal clash of energy, anxiety gnawed at Odin’s heart.

However, he finally let out a silent sigh of relief.

Out of the corner of his eye, he spotted Sif rocketing toward Thor.

But the momentary relief faded as Odin took in the broader battlefield.

The situation was grim.

Despite starting with a massive numerical advantage, the Asgardian fleet was being systematically wiped out, crippled by their drained reactors.

And while the Asgardian warriors fought with legendary bravery, they were rapidly losing ground against the relentless orbital bombardment and the brutal slaughter led by the Black Order generals.

‘This won’t do.

I have to end Thanos quickly and reinforce the vanguard.’

Making his decision, Odin cut the energy beam, gripped Gungnir tight, and charged straight at the Mad Titan.

CLANG!

An apocalyptic shockwave rang out.

Even though Thanos managed to block the physical strike, the sheer kinetic force behind Odin’s divine charge bulldozed him backward.

Feeling the overwhelming pressure crushing against his blade, Thanos pushed his Power of Destruction to the absolute max.

Yet, Odin truly lived up to his reputation as a veteran Skyfather.

In this pure clash of momentum, his raw, unyielding strength was simply too much for Thanos to immediately halt.

Driven back kilometer after kilometer, the two titans eventually broke away from the main battlefield, crashing all the way to the absolute edge of the star system.

They had entered the system’s outer asteroid belt—a dense cosmic minefield of floating rocks that served as a natural barrier against massive rogue meteorites.

Seconds later, Odin slammed Thanos directly into a jagged asteroid over a hundred kilometers in diameter.

The colossal impact instantly shattered the irregular space rock, splintering it into dozens of massive fragments that careened off into the void.

Using the explosive recoil of the shattered asteroid, Thanos finally dug his heels in and stabilized his footing.

“Is this all the Ruler of the Milky Way has to offer?

How disappointing!” Thanos sneered.

With a dismissive laugh, a blinding purple aura erupted from his massive frame as he activated his System skill: Ruler.

In a fraction of a second, his strength skyrocketed, immediately overpowering Odin’s relentless push.

Feeling the terrifying surge of force violently pushing back against his spear, Odin’s face drained of color.

He couldn’t believe this monster had actually been holding back.

Based on this surging output, Thanos was now undeniably stronger than him.

“Raaargh!”

Odin unleashed a furious battle cry, his divine energy flaring once more.

But this time, brilliant streaks of pure gold threaded through his radiant white aura.

Simultaneously, the phantom projection of a massive golden chalice materialized above his head.

‘The Draupnir Golden Cup!’

Thanos quickly dug through his pre-transmigration memories and matched a name to the artifact.

It was a divine relic boasting power on par with Gungnir, though strictly in a supportive capacity.

It possessed the incredible ability to rapidly heal wounds, instantly replenish energy, and temporarily grant a massive boost in combat strength.

But the All-Father wasn’t finished.

Bathing in the golden light of the cup, Odin’s battle armor transformed, glowing with a blinding, divine luminescence, while his helm shifted into the fearsome visage of an eagle.

The Eagle Helm and Golden Armor were genuine divine artifacts in their own right, even if their raw power and fame paled in comparison to Gungnir and the Draupnir Cup.

Fully decked out in his four great artifacts, Odin’s power surged, finally matching Thanos’s newly elevated strength.

With a violent shove, Odin threw Thanos back, simultaneously using the recoil to blast himself away to a safe distance.

Leveling Gungnir, the All-Father unleashed a relentless barrage of energy blasts.

Unlike his previous, sustained, apocalyptic beams, these attacks were rapid-fire, shooting out dense clusters of lethal energy like a cosmic gatling gun.

Seeing the incoming storm of light, Thanos simply brandished the Tyrant Greatsword with casual ease.

He effortlessly swatted the energy blasts aside, ricocheting them off into the surrounding asteroid field.

The redirected blasts wreaked absolute havoc on the space rocks.

One by one, the massive asteroids were clipped by Odin’s stray energy and instantly reduced to fine dust.

The Asgardians might call their energy “divine power,” but its sheer destructive capacity was terrifyingly real.

Moments later, Odin’s barrage showed no signs of stopping, but there wasn’t a single asteroid larger than ten kilometers left completely intact in their immediate vicinity.
