“Lord of Annihilation plus a villain system,” Asat Pramad summarized his current situation, “This is basically pushing me all the way down the path of a mastermind behind the scenes.”
But upon closer reflection, it seemed he didn’t have much of a choice either.
Right now, he was walking around in this Universe wearing Asat Pramad’s face—no, wearing Asat Pramad’s dice.
As a Lord of Annihilation of the Antimatter Legion and an Emanator of the Destruction, these two identities alone were enough to make the vast majority of factions in the galaxy list him as a maximum threat target.
The IPC would offer a bounty on his head at any cost, the Xianzhou Alliance would dispatch its strongest Cloud Knights to hunt him down, and those justice-obsessed Trailblazers of the Astral Express would not show him any mercy either.
With this “face,” even if he wanted to be a good person, he couldn’t.
No one would believe that a Lord of Annihilation wanted to turn over a new leaf.
The more likely scenario was that the moment he appeared within the radar range of any civilized World, an entire fleet would open fire on him.
“Fine then,” Asat Pramad calmly accepted this reality, “Since I can’t be a good person, I might as well push being a bad person to the extreme.
At least in this position, I have enough capital to interpret the word ‘villain’ to the fullest.”
He re-examined the surrounding void, trying to determine his current location.
Just as Asat Pramad was preparing to further explore this body’s abilities, his perception suddenly captured a certain anomaly.
In the endless void, in a deep space region where even starlight seemed sparse, something existed there.
It was not a star, not a Planet, and not any kind of celestial body that the original owner had seen in his memories.
He turned around, adjusting the direction of his perception in a formless manner, and then saw that continent.
Asat Pramad was taken aback for a moment.
That was indeed a continent, uncarried by any Planet, without any crustal support, suspended starkly in the deep space of the Universe like a puzzle piece casually discarded on a table.
The area of the continent was shockingly large; Asat Pramad roughly estimated that it was at least equivalent to the surface area of a standard terrestrial Planet.
Its base was a craggy rock structure, with sharp peaks hanging upside down pointing into the void, like the wreckage left behind after a Planet was forcefully torn apart by some unimaginable force.
On the upper surface of the continent, however, it was a completely different scene.
Vast plains stretched out, covered with emerald green vegetation, and winding rivers carved out silver patterns across the Earth, ultimately converging at the edge of the continent to transform into magnificent waterfalls pouring down.
After leaving the edge of the continent, the Water currents of those waterfalls did not disperse into ice crystals; instead, under the effect of a certain force, they maintained a liquid state, forming silver ribbons hanging between the starlit sky, reflecting light from an unknown source, dazzling like flowing diamonds.
In the center of the continent, a golden palace stood majestically.
That was a complex of buildings blending classical and fantasy styles, with its main structure composed of a certain golden material—not the tacky yellow of gold, but a warm and restrained golden hue, like solidified sunlight.
Soaring towers pointed straight into the sky, their spires embedded with brilliantly colored gems, and soft light emanated from the arched windows.
The layout of the palace was symmetrical, with curved corridors extending from both sides, connecting several slightly smaller side halls; overall, it looked like a giant bird spreading its wings.
Most eye-catching was the bridge connecting the palace to the outside World.
That was a rainbow.
No, not a rainbow in a metaphorical sense, but a genuine bridge condensed from the light of seven colors.
It extended from the main entrance of the palace, spanned the entire continent, and then plunged into the void, its other end disappearing into a dazzling vortex of starlight.
The light of the Bifrost Bridge was particularly striking in the darkness, like a bond connecting two Worlds, with colors constantly flowing and shifting, beautiful to the point of feeling unreal.
Asat Pramad stared at that Bifrost Bridge, and a certain memory deep within his consciousness was touched.
“The Bifrost Bridge…?” He silently recited the name in his heart.
“The golden palace…
the continent suspended in the Universe…
the rainbow-shaped bridge…”
These elements combined pointed to a name he was extremely familiar with—scenes that had appeared in movies he watched on Earth, the name of Asgard in a certain superhero series.
“Asgard?”
This place name emerged from his consciousness, carrying an absurd sense of unreality.
Wasn’t the World he transmigrated into that of Honkai: Star Rail?
Lord of Annihilation Asat Pramad, Emanator of Destruction, Antimatter Legion—these were all settings from the Honkai: Star Rail Universe, having nothing to do with the Marvel Universe.
But now, a continent identical to Asgard in the movies was suspended right in front of him, and the light of the Bifrost Bridge shone directly into his perception.
“So this place is actually not the Honkai: Star Rail Universe.”
Asat Pramad quickly revised his judgment.
His mind was spinning rapidly; transmigration itself was the biggest variable, and since it had already happened, it was no surprise what kind of World he had transmigrated into.
More importantly, this discovery meant that his cognitive advantage would far exceed expectations.
“If Asgard really exists here, it means that existences like Odin, Thor, and Loki are real.”
Asat Pramad’s dice slowly rotated, those vague symbols looming and fading on the die faces.
“And although the clan of gods of Asgard claim to be gods, in reality, they are merely a more powerful alien civilization.”
“They have weaknesses, conflicts, and fissures that can be exploited.”
His gaze—or rather, his perception—locked onto that golden palace.
His body began to move, without the aid of any propulsion device, purely using his mind to manipulate the energy of the Path of Destruction to propel himself sliding through the void.
The power of the Lord of Annihilation flowed within his body, a feeling both unfamiliar and familiar, like a precision machine being injected with fuel, with every component awakening.
There was no resistance in the void, and his speed grew faster and faster, yet there were no sound or light-and-shadow effects.
This was an absolute, pure silence, like a Shadow weaving through the gaps of starlight.
He quickly approached the edge of the Asgard continent, and then crossed that invisible boundary.
After entering the atmosphere of Asgard, concepts such as gravity, sound, temperature, and airflow reappeared.
He felt the solid ground beneath his feet, felt a certain energy contained within the air, and felt the muffled roar of the distant waterfall falling into the abyss.
The gravity here was similar to Earth’s, but the air was permeated with an indescribable heaviness, as if some ancient and powerful force permeated every inch of soil in this land.
The facets on Asat Pramad’s multi-sided die flickered.
“Interesting.”
He concealed his figure.
It wasn’t invisibility, but a more thorough “disappearance”—he erased his own presence and perception from the surrounding space, making any method trying to detect him unable to capture his trace.
