And Hells Kitchen located in Manhattan was just such a place, hiding beneath the sunlight where all sorts of people mixed together.

This place was a gathering place for countless gangs and criminals; even the government and Police were unwilling or unable to govern this lawless zone.

Day belongs to justice, night belongs to sin—this sentence was the best description of Hells Kitchen!

But in recent days, some bizarre things had happened in Hells Kitchen, terrifying these lawless people.

“Hey, Jack.”

A black man said to the black man next to him: “Have you heard? Recently, it seems there is an assassin who specifically targets gang members!”

“Of course, Bob.”

Jack shrank his neck, looked around his surroundings, then lowered his voice and whispered: “My uncle saw with his own eyes the corpses of over a hundred people from the Heavenly Dragon Gang!”

“Hiss—”

Bob drew a sharp breath, couldn’t help wrapping his coat tighter around himself, shrunk his neck, and asked: “True or false? Don’t lie to me, did your uncle really see it?”

“Of course!”

Jack immediately patted his chest and guaranteed: “My uncle is from the Penguin Gang, and several of them saw it at the time. After my uncle came back, he was so scared that he had nightmares for several nights!”

Bob’s eyes lit up, and he instantly became interested, asking: “Tell me about it, what on earth did your uncle see?”

“This—”

Jack hesitated for a moment: “My uncle won’t let me tell anyone. If he finds out, he’ll definitely break my legs!”

“Hey, bro.”

Bob was a bit unhappy, forcefully put his arm around Jack, and said: “I won’t tell others. Just rest assured and tell me, how about I treat you to a drink tonight?”

“Alright then!”

Jack, whose mind was full of bars and Young Miss, instantly threw his uncle’s warning to the back of his mind and whispered into Bob’s ear: “My uncle said that the one who carried out the Carnage on the Heavenly Dragon Gang wasn’t a human, but a monster!”

“Monster?”

Hearing this, Bob was slightly stunned, and then his expression became somewhat ugly: “I treat you as a brother, do you treat me as a fool? Where would there be any monsters in this World? Isn’t your uncle hallucinating from doing drugs?”

“No, I’m not lying to you, there really is a monster!” Jack defended anxiously.

“Impossible!”

Bob let out a cold snort, then forcefully pushed Jack away: “You just wanted to trick me into buying you a drink, so you deliberately made up a monster. Jack, I’m so disappointed in you!”

“It’s true, Bob!”

Seeing that someone didn’t believe him, Jack immediately raised three fingers and swore with a serious expression: “I can swear on God’s ass, my uncle really saw a monster!”

Bob still didn’t believe it, saying dismissively: “Jack, you are no longer a child, stop believing those ridiculous bedtime stories, and by the way, have your uncle smoke a bit less.”

“Fuck you!”

Jack cursed angrily: “My uncle didn’t do drugs, there really is a monster!”

“Is that so?”

Bob crossed his arms over his chest and said impatiently: “I simply don’t believe it. It’s impossible for there to be monsters in this World!”

“If there really are, then let it come find me! Do you see my fist? I’ll beat it until it kneels down and calls me daddy!”

“Hmm?”

Bob got high on his own hype for a long time, only to find that Jack wasn’t speaking, but looking at him with a terrified expression.

“Jack, what’s wrong with you?”

Bob was somewhat puzzled, thinking to himself that Jack shouldn’t be this cowardly.

“Bob… you… behind you…”

At this moment, Jack’s face was full of terror, his pupils dilated, and his whole body trembled like a sieve, as if he had seen something terrifying.

“Behind me?”

A trace of doubt lingered on Bob’s face as he slowly turned his head.

His expression then gradually froze, replaced by fear.

Coming into Bob’s view was a terrifying mask as pale as ashes and shaped like a Beast, followed immediately by a pair of gloomy and hollow eyes, as pitch-black as if they were enough to devour the Soul!

Its body size was as tall as five or six floors, its chest had a circular hollow the size of a fist, and its two arms were exceptionally thick and huge, looking extremely like a mutated giant ape!

Puff~

Bob could even feel the airflow sprayed from beneath the mask by that monster, as well as a rich, pungent stench of blood!

It really was a monster!

Jack hadn’t lied, his uncle had really seen a monster!

Bob’s pupils suddenly constricted, his two legs trembled wildly, and he was almost unable to stand steady!

“What the fuck—”

Bob only had time to curse once before he saw that terrifying monster open its blood-stained maw wide at him!

Splash!

Fresh blood splattered everywhere, flesh and blood becoming a mangled mess!

The White-mask monster’s gums squirmed and chewed, staging a scene of swallowing a living person whole right on the spot!

Poor Bob…

The flag he had just set was instantly met with retribution.

This shows that it’s best to be honest when living life and not casually set flags.

“Bob!”

Jack’s heart and mind trembled violently, and he was so scared that he almost collapsed limply onto the ground, his entire face filled with terror.

After swallowing Bob whole, the White-mask monster didn’t seem satisfied yet, turning its greedy, scarlet gaze toward Jack, who was so scared he had pissed himself.

“Help—ahhh—”

Under the threat of Death, Jack finally mustered up his courage, scrambling and crawling as he sprinted wildly away, screaming for help while running.

“Roar—”

The White-mask monster let out a giant roar and raised its hand to swing a slap!

Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh—

Five huge fingers swept through the air, abruptly whipping up a violent gale that surged toward Jack like a giant wave!

“Ahhh!”

Jack’s small body was like a leaf in the gale, instantly blown flying before slamming heavily into the wall!

Bang!

Jack spat out a mouthful of blood, feeling dizzy and disoriented, as if his internal organs were about to be smashed to pieces, unable to muster even a shred of strength throughout his body.

Thud!

Thud!

Thud!

Set against the backdrop of night and moonlight, the massive-bodied masked monster appeared exceptionally terrifying and horrifying, walking step by step toward Jack!

“Sa—save me—”

“Is there anyone to save me!”

Jack’s face was twisted in pain, falling into extreme despair as he called for help with a face full of terror, yet not a single person responded to him.

Seeing the monster getting closer and closer, opening its blood-stained maw, just as Jack was about to be swallowed alive and torn apart, a person suddenly appeared before his eyes!

The next second.

Jack couldn’t even clearly see what had happened before the extremely shrill screams of that monster reached his ears!

Rip!

A deep blade mark spread from top to bottom, splitting that monster down the middle.

Accompanied by a rain of blood filling the sky, it surged into the heavens like a fountain!

Jack looked at that person with lingering fear.

Under the dark night, that person was wearing a black kimono, with a long white sash tied around their waist, wider trouser legs on the lower half, and a pair of geta sandals stepping under their feet.

That person had an Asian face, with a head of light silver short hair that reflected the moonlight slightly, appearing somewhat sacred.

The blue eyes were extremely profound, as if they contained a sea of stars.

The high bridge of the nose and thin lips gave brows that slanted like swords into the temples.

“Who are you?”

Jack’s eyeballs stared round, his mouth wide open; that White-mask monster had actually been slain with a single blade by this man!

So strong!

He hadn’t even clearly seen the process of this person making a move!

“You can call me Shinigami.”

Set against the moonlight, Lord, dressed in a black kimono, wore a gentle smile at the corners of his lips, resembling a sacred Angel.
