Gwen nodded in agreement.
Sean immediately dropped his polite and gentlemanly facade.
He hooked his strong right arm around Parker’s neck, nearly strangling the poor Spider-Man, and said fiercely, “And you call me fake? You put on an even bigger act than I do! Look what happened! I told you to learn from me and stay low-key. ”
Parker gave him a helpless roll of the eyes and didn’t want to talk anymore.
Gwen laughed and scolded,
“Sean, don’t make fun of Parker while praising yourself. ”
“I’m just telling him to learn from a good student. ”
“That definitely isn’t you. ”
“Aside from me, there really isn’t anyone else in this school. ”
“I agree with Gwen. I absolutely refuse to learn from you. ”
Parker shook his head.
The three stood in the hallway, joking around.
At the entrance, a middle-aged man with a friendly smile watched them.
Sean and Parker were both sharp enough to notice someone observing them.
They turned their heads and saw a man in a suit looking in their direction with a friendly expression.
When the man realized they had noticed him, he openly walked over and politely addressed the three of them.
“Hello. I’m Phil Coulson. Sorry to interrupt your conversation. I’m here to see Mr. Sean. Could I have a word with you privately?”
Coulson’s voice was gentle and calm, making it impossible to feel annoyed by his interruption.
Sean knew exactly who he was.
One of Nick Fury’s most capable agents in S.H.I.E.L.D., Coulson possessed exceptional organizational and operational abilities.Back in Sean’s world, internet users had called him a hero without superpowers.
Many superheroes were willing to be friends with him, because he had a strange ability to make people feel comfortable around him.
Sean had also heard that Coulson would eventually become the new director of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Though he had no idea whether that was actually true.
Why would S.H.I.E.L.D.
send Coulson to find me?
It should be about Tony’s disappearance.

Sean silently speculated.
He didn’t want anything to do with S.H.I.E.L.D., especially not that one-eyed director.
That guy was way too troublesome.
Sean was worried that one day he’d get annoyed and punch the one-eyed bastard, only to end up wanted by the authorities.
If that happened, he’d never have any peace.
Fortunately, S.H.I.E.L.D.
Sean was actually quite willing to talk with this friendly agent.
If anyone else had come, he wouldn’t even have bothered.
He would’ve simply turned around and left.
Sean nodded at Coulson, said goodbye to Parker and Gwen, and left the school with Coulson.
They headed to a nearby coffee shop.
Neither of them spoke along the way.
They each ordered a cup of coffee and found a quiet corner to sit down.
“Thank you. ”
The waiter brought their coffees to the table.
Coulson left a tip before sending him away.Only then did he formally introduce himself.
“Mr. Sean, I’m Agent Coulson, from the Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division. I’m here to ask you about the disappearance of Mr. Stark. ”
After Tony disappeared, S.H.I.E.L.D.
had expanded its search outward from the location where he had vanished.
But they still hadn’t found anything.
The people who had kidnapped Tony were extremely well hidden.
Even satellites had failed to detect them.
Their only option was to gather information from the people closest to Tony and try to uncover even the smallest clue.
Unfortunately, the results had been disappointing.
Tony’s most trusted assistant, Pepper Potts; his close friend, Colonel James Rhodes; and Stark Industries’ CEO, Obadiah Stane, had no idea who could have arranged Tony’s sudden kidnapping or how the kidnappers had known about his weapons demonstration.
Director Fury had no choice but to investigate the people Tony had recently been in contact with.
That was when they unexpectedly discovered a Asian man whom Tony publicly claimed was his nephew.
This Asian man seemed to have appeared out of nowhere.
S.H.I.E.L.D.
couldn’t find any information about him from before he left Tony’s house.
They couldn’t even find any evidence that Tony had a Asian friend who had been involved in a car accident.
At such a critical time, Fury wasn’t about to overlook so many suspicious details surrounding Sean.
He had agents investigate and monitor Sean’s every move.
Yet they hadn’t discovered anything unusual.
Fury compared the time when Sean had first appeared in public with the time S.H.I.E.L.D.
had detected the mysterious disturbance at Black’s Beach.
The two times were almost identical.
Fury immediately ordered Coulson to make contact with Sean, hoping to make progress while also determining whether Sean had anything to do with the incident at the beach.

“Sean didn’t bring up Tony’s disappearance.
“Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division, ” Coulson supplied.
“Oh. That’s quite a mouthful. ”
Sean continued messing around with him.
“A lot of people say that. We’ve been trying to solve that problem ourselves. ”
Coulson played along perfectly.
“Why not shorten it? Just call yourselves S.H.I.E.L.D. ”
“S.H.I.E.L.D.? That’s a pretty good name. I’ll report it to my superior. I think he’ll approve. ”
Coulson thought the name was excellent.
At the very least, they’d just solved one annoying problem.
“Then you’ll have to give me a Good Citizen Award. ”
“I’ll help you apply for one. ”
Sean spent quite a while talking nonsense with Coulson.
Coulson cooperated the entire time and never brought up Tony.
Seeing how cooperative Coulson was, Sean knew it was time to get to the point.
The initiative was already in his hands.
“I know Tony disappeared. But after I transferred to this school and moved here, I haven’t seen Tony even once. We normally just talk over the phone. ”
Once the conversation turned serious, Sean’s expression became solemn.
An invisible pressure began to rise from him.
Coulson immediately knew that this trip hadn’t been wasted.
Sean’s words clearly implied that although he hadn’t seen Tony recently, he knew something about Tony’s disappearance.
And he was willing to tell him.
Coulson switched into work mode, took out his notebook, and said seriously, “Mr.
Sean, please tell me what you think happened.
This is very important to us.
“”Before I tell you, I have one condition.
It won’t be difficult for you.
”
Sean wanted to personally go find Tony.
He wanted to make sure nothing unexpected happened.
“All right. As long as it doesn’t violate regulations. ”
Coulson agreed without hesitation.
“Tony was kidnapped. The kidnappers were acting under someone’s orders. As for the person behind it, I want Tony to deal with him himself. You don’t need to worry about that. ”
Sean calmly continued.
“Right now, Tony is being held in a cave, and he’s safe. I think he’s trying to escape on his ”
own.
Sean stated his condition.
“It’s simple. Take me there. ”
Coulson carefully considered his words for a moment before nodding.
“I agree to your request. However, I can’t guarantee your safety. I can only send two agents to protect you. ”
Sean shook his head.
“I don’t need your protection. If possible, let’s leave right now. Time is of the essence. ”
Coulson nodded.
He took out his phone and began organizing the mission.
Then he led Sean out of the coffee shop.
Throughout the entire process, he never asked Sean how he knew any of this.
