“Are they enemies again?”
Logan warily watched the two approaching figures and asked Sean.
“I don’t think so. They don’t have any killing intent. ”
After hearing that, Logan retracted his claws.
He continued staring intently at the two newcomers, but with Sean here, he felt completely at ease.
“Why are so many people after us?”
Marie was confused.
“Not us. You. ”
Sean knew the plot and understood that Magneto had sent people to capture Marie because of her unique ability.
“Me?”
Marie looked at Sean innocently.
Why were these people suddenly coming after her?
She didn’t have time to ask further, because the two figures had already arrived in front of them.
The snow swirling around the pair seemed to be under one of their control.
With a wave of her hand, the snowstorm dispersed.
Only then did they reveal themselves to be a man and a woman.
Their appearances were rather unusual.
The tall, handsome man wore a pair of high-tech glasses, a faint red light flickering within the lenses.
Beside him was a beautiful Black woman with distinctive white hair.
Her eyes were completely white and eerie while she was using her power, but after retracting her ability, her eyes returned to normal.
“My name is Scott, and this is Ororo. ”
The two introduced themselves as soon as they arrived.”We’re here to help you.

“Hmph. Looks like you came all this way for nothing. ”
Logan spoke dismissively.
“Oh, no. ”
Scott’s expression became serious.
“A powerful mutant has set their sights on you. We don’t know their purpose yet. ”
“So what do you want to do?”
Logan had no interest in dealing with them, so Marie stepped forward and asked.
After hearing Sean say that their target was her, she was extremely worried about her safety.
“We want to take you back to our headquarters. ”
“It’s a home for mutants. ”
When Logan heard that, his eyes shifted toward Scott.
After a moment of silence, he decisively refused.
“I’m not going. ”
He was accustomed to traveling alone.
He didn’t want to become part of such a large group.
“You’re… Mr. Wolverine, aren’t you?”
Scott looked Logan up and down.
His characteristics matched the description the Professor had given him remarkably well.
He immediately asked politely,
“Do you know me?”
Logan took out a cigar, lit it, and placed it between his teeth.
“Yes. ”
“The Professor asked me to give you a message. ”
Scott didn’t become angry at Logan’s indifference.
“He said he can help you recover your memories.
“”Hmm?”
A crucial secret had been exposed.
Logan’s eyes turned cold as he stared at Scott.
“Professor X?”
Sean asked.
Scott nodded.
“Sean, Logan, should we go with them?”
Marie nervously looked between them.
Deep down, she wanted to go.
She wanted to find out why someone was trying to capture her.
But she didn’t want to leave Logan and Sean behind and go alone.
“If it’s that Professor, I think he’s trustworthy. ”
Sean looked toward Logan.
“You can work with him to solve both your problems and Marie’s. ”
Sean was asking for Logan’s opinion.
“All right. Lead the way. ”
After hearing Sean’s recommendation, Logan hesitated briefly before agreeing.

An old man stood straight in front of them.
His sharp gaze made it impossible to underestimate him simply because of his age.
Beside him, six metal spheres repeatedly collided with one another in a rhythmic pattern.
More terrifyingly, there was nothing supporting them.
They remained suspended in midair as they moved.
“What happened?”
The old man’s voice was filled with the authority of someone accustomed to being obeyed.
“I’m not sure. ”
“I noticed that Sabretooth hadn’t returned for a long time, so I went looking for him. ”
“I found him in a very remote corner of the forest, buried inside a huge crater. ”
“He looked horrible. ”
“Not a single bone in his body was intact. It took me a great deal of effort to put them back into place one by one. ”
“But his skull looks like it’s going to take a very long time to heal. ”
The strange man explained what he had seen.

With a wave of his hand, the metal chair suddenly moved backward.

The old man sat down, his gaze dark and sinister as he muttered the name.
The only person capable of interfering with his plans was his old rival.
But could Charles really have a subordinate capable of beating Sabretooth this badly?
Probably not.
“Forget it.
