The massive chamber remained completely silent.

Only the faint humming of the Fortress echoed softly through the air while the holographic stars slowly drifted around Peter.

Meanwhile…

Peter himself stood motionless.

His fists clenched tightly.

His breathing uneven.

The holographic image of his mother looked toward him sadly before continuing the story.

“After ensuring no one had traced your location…”

The holograms shifted once more.

Peter saw his parents hurriedly preparing to leave.

His father looked exhausted.

His mother weakened.

Yet both of them still moved desperately.

“They understood they could no longer stay near you.”

The images showed Richard Parker deleting information one final time before grabbing several bags quickly.

“They knew the organizations chasing the serum would eventually reach them.”

Peter watched silently.

The hologram continued softly.

“So your parents created a final plan.”

A private airplane appeared within the hologram.

Small.

Hidden.

Prepared quickly.

“They booked a private flight and attempted to leave the country.”

The holographic image showed Richard holding young Peter one final time before leaving him safely behind.

Peter’s chest tightened painfully.

Because now he understood.

They weren’t abandoning him.

They were running away to protect him.

The holographic mother continued quietly.

“They intentionally drew every enemy toward themselves.”

The plane slowly lifted into the sky.

“So no one would continue searching for you.”

Peter stared at the hologram silently.

Then suddenly—

WARNING ALARMS echoed through the holographic simulation.

Peter immediately looked up.

Several dark aircraft appeared behind the plane.

The holographic mother’s expression darkened.

“They found them.”

The atmosphere in the chamber suddenly felt heavy.

The plane attempted evasive movement desperately across the stormy night sky.

But then—

BOOOOM!!

A massive explosion erupted across the hologram.

Peter’s eyes widened instantly.

The entire plane exploded violently in midair.

Fire consumed everything.

Debris scattered across the dark ocean below.

Peter froze completely.

The holographic mother softly finished:

“Your parents died that night.”

Silence.

Absolute silence filled the chamber afterward.

Peter didn’t move.

Didn’t speak.

His eyes remained locked onto the burning hologram.

The same accident he heard about his entire life…

Was never an accident at all.

They were murdered.

His parents were murdered.

Peter slowly lowered his head.

His fists trembled violently now.

Anger filled in his eyes.

The holographic image of his mother looked toward him sadly.

But then—

She spoke again.

“However…”

Peter slowly looked upward.

The hologram continued softly.

“We recovered them.”

Peter blinked slightly.

“…What?”

The burning hologram disappeared.

Instead…

The ocean appeared.

Dark waves crashing beneath the storm.

“The plane crashed into the Atlantic Ocean.”

Several hidden alien rescue vessels emerged beneath the water.

“We deployed recovery teams immediately.”

Peter stared silently while holographic figures pulled two motionless bodies from the wreckage.

Richard Parker.

Mary Parker.

His parents.

The holographic mother gently explained:

“Human authorities never located their bodies.”

The ocean continued raging within the hologram.

“Earth believed they were lost beneath the sea.”

Peter’s breathing slowly became unstable again.

“But we brought them here.”

Suddenly—

VRRRMMMM—

A nearby section of the chamber slowly opened.

Peter immediately turned toward the sound.

A massive metallic doorway separated slowly before him.

Soft light spilled outward from inside.

The holographic mother quietly spoke:

“Follow the path.”

Peter slowly stared at the opening.

Then silently began walking.

His footsteps echoed quietly through the chamber.

The closer he moved…

The more the atmosphere changed.

The cold metallic environment slowly disappeared.

Then finally—

Peter stepped into another section of the Fortress entirely.

And immediately froze.

Because before him…

Was a garden.

A real garden.

Inside the spaceship.

Soft green grass stretched peacefully beneath glowing artificial sunlight while beautiful alien flowers bloomed quietly around the area.

Tiny streams of water flowed gently nearby.

The atmosphere felt warm.

Peaceful.

Sacred.

Peter slowly looked around silently.

Then—

His eyes stopped.

At the center of the garden…

Two graves stood side by side beneath a glowing silver tree.

Peter’s breathing stopped completely.

His legs suddenly felt weak.

Slowly…

Almost fearfully…

Peter walked forward.

One step at a time.

Until finally…

He could read the names.

Richard Parker.

Mary Parker.

Peter’s vision instantly blurred.

No.

No no no—

His legs gave out beneath him completely.

Peter collapsed onto the grass.

The emotions he had been holding back for years shattered instantly.

He broke.

Completely.

Tears flooded down his face uncontrollably while painful sobs escaped from his throat.

All the pain.

All the confusion.

All the loneliness he carried since childhood—

It all exploded outward at once.

Peter crawled closer toward the graves desperately.

His hands trembled violently as he touched the stone.

“…Dad…”

His voice cracked instantly.

“…Mom…”

More tears fell endlessly.

Peter cried harder.

Louder.

Years of grief poured out uncontrollably.

His parents finally felt real again.

Not distant memories.

Not blurry faces.

Not old photographs.

They were here.

Their graves existed here.

Peter pressed his forehead against the gravestone while his shoulders shook violently.

“I’m sorry…”

His voice barely came out.

“So sorry…”

He didn’t even know what he was apologizing for anymore.

For surviving.

For not knowing the truth.

For being too weak to save them.

The garden remained silent around him.

Only Peter’s broken sobs echoed softly through the peaceful area.

Minutes passed.

Then hours.

But Peter barely noticed.

He simply remained beside the graves crying endlessly.

Remembering.

Hurting.

Grieving.

Everything he buried deep inside himself since childhood finally resurfaced completely.

Eventually…

After what felt like forever…

Peter slowly calmed down.

His eyes remained red.

His breathing uneven.

But eventually…

He forced himself back onto his feet.

Slowly…

Peter stood before the graves silently.

The glowing silver tree above them moved softly with the artificial wind.

Peter stared at the gravestones for a long time.

Then finally…

He spoke quietly.

“…You guys really hid everything from me.”

His voice still trembled slightly.

“But now I understand.”

Peter slowly clenched his fists.

“You weren’t running away because you were scared.”

He looked downward.

“…You were protecting me.”

Silence filled the garden again.

Then Peter slowly smiled sadly.

A broken smile.

“…Dad…”

He looked toward Richard Parker’s grave.

“You seriously worked yourself to death for me, huh?”

Peter laughed weakly through lingering tears.

“I always wondered why you stayed in the lab so much.”

His voice became softer.

“…Now I know.”

Then Peter looked toward Mary Parker’s grave.

His mother’s grave.

“…And Mom…”

His eyes trembled slightly again.

“…you fought an entire universe.”

He slowly knelt again beside both graves.

“And even after all that…”

Peter gently placed one hand against the gravestone.

“…you still chose Earth.”

His voice nearly broke again.

“You chose Dad.”

A few more tears rolled down his face quietly.

“…You chose me.”

The glowing flowers around the graves moved softly in the artificial breeze.

Meanwhile Peter lowered his head silently.

Then finally whispered:

“…I don’t know what I’m supposed to become yet.”

His fists slowly tightened again.

“But I promise…”

Peter raised his head slowly toward the glowing sky above the garden.

“…I won’t waste everything you sacrificed for.”

Silence answered him.

But strangely…

For the first time in years…

Peter no longer felt completely alone.

Peter stood completely motionless inside the glowing chamber.

The words of the holographic AI continued echoing through his mind endlessly.

The virus still existed inside him.

The Codex was hidden within his body.

Thragg was searching for him.

And worst of all…

One day the V-Virus might still consume him completely.

For several long moments…

Peter simply stared downward silently.

His fists clenched tightly.

The overwhelming weight of everything almost crushed him mentally.

Then suddenly—

The holographic image of his mother spoke again.

“But you do not need to fear.”

Peter slowly looked upward.

The holographic woman smiled softly at him.

And strangely…

That small smile alone calmed him slightly.

Peter frowned weakly.

“…Why?”

The holographic displays around the chamber shifted once more.

This time, massive streams of glowing DNA structures appeared around Peter.

Complex.

Evolving.

Changing endlessly.

The holographic mother spoke carefully.

“Because your biology no longer resembles ordinary Viltrumites.”

Peter blinked slightly.

“…What?”

The glowing DNA structures rotated around him.

“The moment your body merged with the Codex…”

The holograms showed the Codex energy fusing with Peter’s cells.

“…and adapted alongside the V-Virus…”

Dark viral energy merged into the glowing DNA itself.

“…your genetic structure began evolving beyond anything naturally possible.”

Peter stared silently at the holographic images.

Then the holographic mother continued:

“The super-soldier serum created by your father accelerated that evolution further.”

Suddenly—

The DNA structure transformed again.

More stable.

More powerful.

More complex than before.

Peter slowly frowned.

“So what exactly does that mean?”

The holographic mother answered calmly.

“It means you are no longer simply human.”

The hologram shifted.

“Nor are you purely Viltrumite.”

The DNA evolved once more.

“You became something entirely new.”

Silence filled the chamber.

Peter quietly muttered:

“…That sounds terrifying.”

The holographic mother softly smiled.

“Perhaps.”

Then her expression became serious again.

“But it also means something extremely important.”

Peter listened carefully.

The holographic woman pointed toward the glowing DNA structure.

“Even if Thragg captures you…”

The holographic Codex hidden within Peter’s cells remained completely fused together.

“…he will never be able to extract the Codex from your body.”

Peter immediately blinked.

“…What?”

The holographic mother nodded calmly.

“The Codex has completely merged with your biological structure.”

Peter stared silently.

“It is no longer a separate object.”

The holographic display zoomed closer.

The Codex itself had become part of Peter’s existence.

Part of his blood.

His cells.

His DNA.

The holographic mother continued softly:

“Your body evolved far beyond what science originally intended.”

Peter slowly processed that.

Then quietly asked:

“So the Codex is basically…

“Correct.”

Peter rubbed his forehead weakly.

Of course it was.

At this point, nothing about his life surprised him anymore.

But then the holographic mother continued speaking.

“And your evolution did not stop there.”

The holographic DNA structures suddenly expanded rapidly.

Countless changes appeared throughout the simulation.

“Your hybrid genetics…”

Human DNA.

Viltrumite DNA.

The V-Virus.

The Codex.

The serum.

Everything fused together.

“…created a biological existence unlike anything recorded in universal history.”

Peter stared blankly.

“…Seriously?”

The holographic mother nodded.

“Even the greatest scientific minds in existence would fail to fully understand your biology.”

Peter blinked several times.

“What?”

The holographic woman continued calmly.

“Your blood has evolved beyond conventional analysis.”

The holographic scans repeatedly failed to process Peter’s cellular structure.

“No known civilization could properly replicate or reverse-engineer your condition.”

Peter stared silently at the hologram.

Then slowly pointed toward himself.

“So you’re telling me…”

He laughed weakly in disbelief.

“…I basically became an unexplainable science experiment?”

The holographic mother surprisingly smiled faintly.

“In simplistic terms…”

Peter waited.

“…yes.”

Peter groaned softly.

“My life officially stopped being normal years ago.”

The holographic woman ignored the comment gently.

Then continued:

“However, the changes within your body granted you far greater benefits as well.”

The holograms around Peter shifted again.

This time…

Images of Peter himself appeared using his powers.

Flying.

Heat vision.

Super strength.

X-ray vision.

The holographic mother softly explained:

“The V-Virus did not simply mutate you.”

Golden sunlight suddenly appeared throughout the holograms.

“It transformed you.”

Peter watched carefully.

His body absorbed sunlight directly through his cells.

The holographic mother continued:

“Unlike ordinary Viltrumites…”

Peter’s body radiated golden solar energy.

“…your body developed additional evolutionary abilities.”

Peter slowly frowned.

“Additional abilities?”

The hologram zoomed toward Peter’s cells absorbing sunlight rapidly.

“Solar absorption.”

Injuries across the holographic body healed rapidly.

“Accelerated regeneration.”

Peter’s senses expanded across entire cities.

“Enhanced sensory evolution.”

The holographic Peter unleashed freezing breath.

“Cryogenic breath.”

Peter blinked slightly.

“…Freeze breath seriously became permanent too?”

“Correct.”

The holographic mother calmly continued listing abilities.

“Heat vision.”

“Invulnerability.”

“Rapid adaptation.”

“Self-sustaining biological evolution.”

Peter slowly looked more and more shocked with every sentence.

Because according to this…

His powers weren’t random.

They were the result of his body evolving constantly.

Then the holographic mother looked directly at him again.

“Based on Earth’s fictional concepts…”

Several comic images resembling Superman briefly appeared within the hologram.

“…your abilities most closely resemble the being humans call Superman.”

Peter immediately froze slightly.

“…You’re kidding.”

The holographic mother calmly shook her head.

“No.”

Peter stared blankly.

Because honestly?

Now that she mentioned it…

The similarities were terrifyingly obvious.

Flight.

Strength.

Heat vision.

Super senses.

Invulnerability.

Even the sunlight connection.

Peter quietly muttered:

“…No wonder Aunt May kept joking about Superman.”

The holographic mother continued:

“However…”

The holographic Superman image slowly faded.

“…there are major differences.”

Peter immediately focused again.

The holographic mother explained carefully:

“Superman’s strength functions like a solar battery.”

Golden sunlight flowed through the holographic Kryptonian.

“As long as he remains under yellow solar radiation…”

The hologram showed Superman weakening without sunlight.

“…his power remains sustained.”

Peter slowly nodded.

That matched the comics.

But then—

The holographic mother pointed toward Peter’s evolving DNA again.

“You are different.”

The holographic Peter absorbed sunlight permanently.

The energy fused directly into his body.

“Your body permanently assimilates absorbed energy.”

Peter frowned slightly.

“…Meaning?”

The holographic mother looked directly into his eyes.

“Your strength does not decrease.”

Silence.

Peter blinked once.

Twice.

The holographic woman continued softly.

“The solar energy you absorb permanently strengthens your biology.”

The holographic Peter grew stronger continuously over time.

“Your evolution is cumulative.”

Peter slowly stared at the simulation.

Then quietly asked:

“…So every day I get stronger?”

“Correct.”

The holographic mother nodded calmly.

“As time passes…”

The holographic Peter radiated increasingly overwhelming energy.

“…your powers will continue evolving permanently.”

Peter slowly looked down toward his own hands.

And for the first time…

He truly understood why controlling his powers always became harder over the years.

Because his strength never stopped growing.

Not even once.

The holographic mother softly finished:

“You are not borrowing power from the sun.”

Golden energy spread across Peter’s holographic body completely.

“…you are becoming power itself.”

Silence filled the chamber afterward.

Peter remained standing there quietly.

Looking at his own trembling hands.

Meanwhile inside his mind…

One terrifying realization slowly formed.

If his powers continued growing forever…

Then one day…

What exactly would he become?

Will he be able to stand on his own like his parents wants from him.
