A moment after Peter reacted, the middle-aged Peter Parker sensed the same thing and turned in the same direction.

To an ordinary person, a difference of mere milliseconds would have been completely imperceptible.

But to Spider-Men with Superhuman Senses, it stood out like a drop of ink on a blank sheet of paper.Full novel: Marvel Spider-Man: Web of the Multiverse — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Noticing this detail, the middle-aged Peter Parker felt a ripple of surprise.

‘Is his Spider-Sense sharper than mine?

Was that just a coincidence, or do Spider-Men from different Parallel Universes have different abilities?’

‘Looks like Parallel Universes are even more complicated than I thought!’

Aunt May also sensed that something was wrong.

She quickly picked up the baseball bat and stood fearlessly beside the two Peters.

What happened next, however, caught everyone completely off guard.

Everyone except Peter, of course.

Three figures of varying heights emerged from the shadows at the street corner.

Although the streetlights overhead were dim, they provided enough light to reveal them clearly.

At the front stood a tall man wearing a black trench coat and a wide-brimmed black hat.

Beneath the coat, he wore a complete Spider-Man suit, including gloves, boots, and a mask.

However, the suit had an unusually dark and oppressive style, with an entirely black-and-white color scheme.

He looked like someone who had stepped straight out of an old black-and-white television, which was precisely why he was known as Spider-Man Noir.

Compared with the two figures behind him, however, Spider-Man Noir looked perfectly normal.

One was a short-haired girl who appeared to be around fourteen.

She wore a sailor uniform, carried a backpack, and looked as though she had stepped straight out of an anime.

The girl herself showed no obvious Spider-Man traits, but the Spider-Robot following closely behind her was more than enough to confirm her identity as a Spider-Man.

As for the last one…

it was a pig wearing a Spider-Man suit.

All in all, these Spider-Men had remarkably different art styles.

Yet when so many Spider-Men with completely different styles stood together, it somehow did not feel strange.

Instead, it seemed perfectly natural.

Perhaps that was Spider-Man’s unique charm.

After a brief silence, the scene quickly descended into chaos.

With their Spider-Senses buzzing inside their heads, every Spider-Man present seemed to reach the same understanding and immediately revealed their talkative nature.

Spider-Man Noir introduced himself.

“My name is Peter Parker.

I’m Spider-Man…”

The short-haired anime girl put on a sparkling expression.

“My name is Peni Parker.

My father’s robot is called SP//dr.

I think that means Spider-Man…”

Spider-Ham munched on a hot dog bun he had produced from who knew where.

“Call me Peter Porker.

I may be a pig, but I really am Spider-Man.

No, wait, I guess I should be called Spider-Ham…”

“I was bitten by a Radioactive Spider!” all three declared at once.

After the brief confusion subsided, the middle-aged Peter Parker shrugged and summed up the situation.

“Well…

it looks like we’re all Spider-Men from different universes.”

“In that case, I think we all share the same goal.

We need to find a way home.”

Spider-Man Noir, Peni Parker, and Spider-Ham replied in unison, “Agreed.”

The middle-aged Peter Parker nodded, then voluntarily stepped aside.

“Ahem.

In that case, let’s share what we know.

Next, let’s hear from our little Peter.”

Peter rolled his eyes and gestured at their nearly identical heights.

“I’m not ‘little’ at all, okay?

You mean younger.”

The middle-aged Peter Parker spread his hands, wearing an expression that said young people simply did not understand humor.

Peter shook his head helplessly.

He was beginning to understand why certain Villains were driven insane by Spider-Man.

The title of one of Marvel’s Four Great Talkers was certainly well deserved.

“Back to business.

Here’s what we’ve confirmed so far…”

Peter repeated the information he had explained earlier.

For the newly arrived Spider-Men, it was undoubtedly a major revelation.

“In short, the Alchemax Corporation controlled by Kingpin is most likely the key to the chaos affecting the Parallel Universes.

If we go there, we’ll probably find a way home.”

“But…”

Peter’s gaze suddenly sharpened.

“The Peter Parker of this universe saved this city countless times.

I refuse to let him die with unfinished business.”

“So before we go home, I’m going to bring Kingpin to justice myself and make sure he can never threaten this city again.”

“Who wants to join me?”

After a brief silence, Peni Parker spoke quietly.

“I’m in.

If we go home without catching all those Villains, I’ll feel guilty for the rest of my life.”

A sad virtual expression appeared at the same time on the cockpit glass of the Spider-Robot behind her.

Spider-Ham raised his hand vigorously in agreement, afraid Peter might miss the gesture.

Spider-Man Noir said nothing, but the cold glint reflected in his glasses made his stance perfectly clear.

He was a ruthless character.

When dealing with Villains, he could sit at the same table as the Punisher.

While most Spider-Men preferred to talk their enemies into surrendering, Spider-Man Noir preferred guns.

…

Aunt May stood nearby, watching the five Spider-Men discuss their plans with growing enthusiasm.

Her eyes held both deep satisfaction and a lingering trace of sorrow.

She realized that these Spider-Men from different Parallel Universes had all come here for the same reason.

They had come to seek justice for her nephew.

Spider-Man could not be allowed to die for nothing.

The mastermind had to be exposed, and every criminal involved had to face justice.

Once she understood that, Aunt May decided to give the Spider-Men some assistance.

On the surface, the Aunt May of this Parallel Universe seemed perfectly ordinary, nothing more than a retired elderly woman living at home.

In truth, however, she had another secret identity.

She was Spider-Man’s assistant.

That’s right.

She played much the same role as Alfred does for Batman, in other words, she was basically “Butler-Man.”

“Everyone, please quiet down and follow me somewhere more suitable for your discussion.”

“It’s already quite late.

Making too much noise could attract unnecessary trouble.”

Aunt May clapped her hands, successfully silencing the commotion in the yard.

All five Spider-Men turned to look at her.

A mysterious smile appeared on Aunt May’s face.

She turned around and gestured for everyone to follow.
