The atmosphere in the car was very strange.

How should Gaia put it?

Well, the whole car was filled with Gwen’s scent.Full novel: Marvel: Spider-Man’s Psychotic Cousin — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

To use a metaphor, he and Gwen were like two magnets with opposite poles; the moment they met, they couldn’t wait to stick together.

And the attraction was the kind that only grew stronger over time.

This left Gaia with no choice but to marvel at the immense power of the spider totem.

No wonder Silk and Spider-Man in the comics couldn’t control themselves and would often end up passionately kissing right in the middle of a fight.

Who could possibly resist that?

Thinking this, Gaia couldn’t help but admire himself in his heart.

*As expected of me.

My self-control is truly extraordinary to be able to hold back even under these conditions.*

*Little brother Peter still needs a lot more practice.*

(Little Gaia put his hands on his hips and tilted his head up proudly.)

The attraction was mutual.

Sitting in the passenger seat, Gwen was in the same situation as Gaia.

All the way, Gwen blushed, stealing glances at Gaia from time to time.

When she saw Gaia suddenly laugh, though she didn’t understand why, she just felt that his laugh was very attractive.

*I really want to kiss him.*

Once this thought popped into her head, she couldn’t shake it off.

Gwen’s face flushed even redder.

*Gwen, you have to be reserved.

Have you forgotten how your parents usually teach you?

You must be reserved.*

…

Gaia parked the car in front of a somewhat old-looking apartment building and took the gifts out.

Little Gaia stood beside Gaia, looking up at the old apartment building.

“No way.

Is Captain Stacy really this incorruptible?”

Gwen got out of the car, stepped forward, and took half of the gifts from Gaia’s hands.

“Let’s go.

My mom will be very happy to meet you.”

Gaia nodded and followed Gwen.

They had finally arrived.

He wanted to see what on earth was in this apartment building that could trigger his spider-sense.

The two walked upstairs side by side and knocked on the door.

Inside the apartment, George Stacy had specially taken some time off to come home early today, eager to see the young man his daughter claimed was better than him.

Helen glanced at George, who sat on the sofa with his arms crossed and a stiff face, and said in dissatisfaction, “Don’t look so sullen.

You have to trust our daughter’s judgment.”

George snorted and didn’t answer.

Helen was about to say more when a knock sounded at the door.

“Coming!”

Giving George a look that warned him to behave, Helen smoothed her hair and clothes, then quickly stepped forward to open the door.

“Mrs.

Stacy, nice to meet you.

I’m very glad to make your acquaintance.”

Helen looked up at the tall, handsome, dark-haired young man before her, suddenly finding him very familiar.

After a long moment, Helen finally remembered where she had seen him before.

Wasn’t this Gaia Parker, who had been elected one of New York’s Top Ten Outstanding Youth for two consecutive years!

Famous for pulling himself out of extreme poverty with his own two hands, he was seen as an idol by many young people today.

Gwen even had his posters in her room.

Even she was a member of the Ares Club.

Eight years ago, he had even saved Gwen’s life.

She had thought they would never have a chance to repay him, but she hadn’t expected her girl, Gwen, to deliver herself right to him.

Oh my goodness, an innocent high school girl rekindling a connection with her savior, the rising business mogul.

Or perhaps: “As an innocent high school girl, I offer myself in marriage to repay my childhood savior!”

This script is too cool!

*As expected of my daughter.

The student has surpassed the master; this is way more advanced than what I pulled back in the day.*

*No wonder she said he’s better than her dad.

She wasn’t wrong at all.*

Helen cast a teasing glance at Gwen.

“Mr.

Parker, it’s a pleasure to meet you.

Please, come on in.”

Noticing her mother’s look, Gwen silently lowered her head with a blushing face, not daring to make a sound.

Gaia, however, didn’t mind and smiled as he walked in carrying the gifts.

Little Gaia jumped onto Gaia’s shoulder.

“Hey buddy, Gwen’s mom and Gwen look so much alike.”

Gaia rolled his eyes at Little Gaia as if looking at an idiot.

*What kind of nonsense is that?

Of course Gwen’s mother looks like her.*

Walking into the room, Gaia actively triggered his spider-sense, wanting to see if there was indeed anything unexpected.

As a result, the moment he turned his head, he saw George Stacy sitting on the sofa, glaring at him.

Gaia looked down at his own clothes.

Is there something wrong with my outfit?

“Captain Stacy, is there an issue with my attire?”

George didn’t answer directly.

Of course he recognized Gaia’s identity.

Truth be told, he actually quite admired Gaia.

He had pulled himself up from poverty, and the name “Fist of Khonshu” echoed through both the legal and criminal underworlds of New York.

He was a real man.

And he had saved Gwen’s life.

The only thing he found regrettable was that this young man seemed to have some mental issues.

But all of that had gone up in smoke over the past few days.

This bastard in front of him actually dared to let his fifteen-year-old daughter sleep over at his house!

Before this, Gwen wouldn’t even get within half of a meter of another male.

Having recently had some contact with the higher-ups and witnessing some of their dark secrets, George Stacy now felt that everything was part of Gaia’s plan.

Perhaps Gaia had committed some crime and was only faking a mental illness to escape the law.

“Not at all, Parker.”

“Whoa!

You’re the big brother on big sister’s headboard!”

A childish voice immediately followed.

Gaia turned around and saw a blonde boy of about seven or eight standing behind him, staring.

“Simon Stacy!

You should be doing your homework!”

Gwen, who was helping her mother Helen cook in the kitchen, heard her little brother Simon’s words thanks to her super-hearing.

Her face instantly flushed red like a cooked lobster.

Oh god, she had been so focused on Gaia coming to her house today that she completely forgot about the Gaia poster pasted in her room.

*No way, I can’t let Simon say another word.*

Thinking this, Gwen poked her head out of the kitchen and shouted at Simon.

Startled, Simon quickly ran over to Gaia, hiding by his side and sticking his tongue out at Gwen.

“You little brat!”

Seeing Simon stick his tongue out at her, Gwen was exasperated.

Gaia, who had watched the entire sibling interaction, let out a laugh.

Handing the game console he bought to Simon, and watching him run off happily clutching it, Gaia turned to Gwen and asked with a smile, “Gwen, why is your face so red?

Are you feeling unwell?”

Gwen was tongue-tied.

After stammering for a long moment, she blurted out, “The kitchen is too hot,” and retreated into the kitchen as if escaping.

Gaia nodded in realization.

So it was just the heat.

*Crack!*

George, who had witnessed the entire scene, clenched his fists so hard his knuckles popped.

*This naturally evil Parker brat dares to flirt with my daughter right in front of me.*

*If I weren’t here, who knows what he would do!*

Hearing the sound, Gaia looked at George Stacy.

Out of concern for his friend’s father, he spoke up:

“Captain Stacy, are your joints feeling uncomfortable?

Joint cracking is usually related to the release of gas in the joint capsule, tendon sliding, or friction between joint surfaces.

For middle-aged and elderly people, it might involve joint degeneration.

I suggest you go to the hospital for a checkup to avoid causing a more serious condition.”

*Naturally evil Parker brat!

He really is born wicked!*

*He’s actually still provoking me!*

…

At the dining table, Gwen originally wanted to sit next to Gaia, but George stopped her.

Left with no choice, Gwen could only keep recommending delicious dishes to Gaia.

“Gaia, try this.

I made it.”

“Oh, sure.”

“How is it?”

“It’s pretty good.

It’s not too sweet; I like it a lot.”

“Really?

I’m glad you like it.”

Throughout the meal, George was kept firmly in his chair by Helen and didn’t say a single word.

He could only watch helplessly as his daughter, with an expectant look, fed that black-haired punk.

And then, after receiving praise from that punk, she would blush and nod shyly.

Holy crap!

This was a complete nightmare!

It wasn’t that George hadn’t thought about flipping the table, but every time he prepared to flare up, he would receive a smiling glare from Helen.

*Damned woman, to think she was actually bought off by a mere 260,000-dollar necklace!*

*There’s no living like this!*

…

Taking a bite of the pineapple pizza Gwen had fed him, Gaia glanced at the happy Helen and Simon, the blushing, innocent Gwen, and George, whose face was filled with frustration and resentment.
