….

The cafeteria had turned into chaos within seconds.

Students were running toward the exits, some screaming while others were dragging their friends along with them.

Chairs had been overturned, tables were scattered across the floor and dust continued to fall from the damaged ceiling as pieces of concrete rolled across the tiles.

Juggernaut barely seemed to notice any of it.

His attention remained fixed on Spider-Man.

Peter had just managed to pull himself away from the wall, shaking his head as he tried to clear his vision.

His spider-sense suddenly screamed.

Peter didn’t even have time to think.

He jumped.

Juggernaut’s enormous fist swept through the space where Peter’s head had been a fraction of a second earlier.

Peter twisted his body in midair, tucked his legs and flipped over the man’s arm before landing several feet away.

“Okay,”

Peter muttered beneath his mask, breathing heavily.

“Definitely putting ‘giant unstoppable guy’ on the list of things I don’t want to fight before lunch.”

Juggernaut turned around.

Peter’s shoulders dropped.

“Of course you’re coming again.”

Juggernaut charged straight at him.

Peter immediately fired a web toward the ceiling and pulled himself upward, narrowly avoiding another devastating swing.

The force behind the punch sent dust and broken pieces of concrete flying across the cafeteria.

Peter looked around.

Almost everyone had escaped.

Almost.

Several students had been caught in the destruction and were lying injured near the damaged tables.

Peter’s expression changed.

He had made a mistake bringing the fight here.

He should have shifted it somewhere else.

He had thought he could stop Juggernaut before things got this bad, but the man simply kept moving through everything in his path.

Walls weren’t obstacles to him.

They were things he went through.

“Come on, buddy,”

Peter muttered as he dodged another attack.

“Could we maybe take this somewhere that isn’t my school?”

Juggernaut answered with another charge.

Peter jumped aside.

The enormous figure crashed through another section of the cafeteria.

Raja had already moved away from the main fight when he heard someone calling for help.

He turned.

A section of broken ceiling had collapsed near one of the tables.

Someone was trapped beneath it.

Raja hurried over.

“Hey, don’t move.”

He crouched beside the debris and pushed aside several smaller pieces before finding a girl trapped underneath the larger section.

She had platinum, almost silver-white hair that had become covered with dust.

She looked stunned, more from what had happened than from the actual injuries.

Raja looked at the concrete slab.

“Alright.

This is going to hurt a little.”

He braced himself.

The slab was heavier than he expected.

His muscles strained as he slowly lifted it enough to pull her free.

The girl winced in pain.

Raja managed to drag her out and carefully lowered the debris back onto the floor.

“You okay?”

She looked up at him with wide eyes.

For a second, she seemed almost unable to answer.

“I’m…

fine.”

“Good.

Can you stand?”

She tried to get up but the moment she put weight on her leg, her face tightened.

“Never mind.”

He carefully lifted her into his arms.

The girl stared at him again, seemingly even more surprised now.

Raja glanced at her.

“What?”

She shook her head slightly.

“Nothing.”

He carried her away from the cafeteria while the sounds of Juggernaut and Spider-Man continued behind them.

As soon as Raja reached the hallway, he saw firefighters and police officers rushing into the school.

Emergency personnel were helping the injured students while teachers attempted to account for everyone.

Raja carried the girl toward one of the waiting stretchers.

“She was trapped under the debris.”

A paramedic immediately took over.

“Put her here.”

Raja carefully lowered her onto the stretcher.

The medical worker examined her leg and gently pressed around the injured area.

“Looks like a fracture.

We’ll get her to the hospital.”

The girl looked toward Raja before the paramedics started moving the stretcher away.

“Thank you.”

Raja gave her a small nod.

“You’re welcome.”

He watched them disappear down the corridor.

Then something suddenly occurred to him.

‘Wait.’

He looked toward the girl again.

There was something familiar about her.

But before he could think about it any further, another enormous crash came from the cafeteria.

Raja closed his eyes.

“Right.

Juggernaut.

Man…

He is tearing through the school.”

He quickly moved through the crowd until he reached the locker area.

Nobody was there.

Perfect.

Raja slipped inside and closed the door behind him.

He took a breath.

“Alright, let’s do this.”

Hellfire immediately erupted across his body.

The flames spread over his arms, chest and face, consuming his human appearance as his flesh disappeared beneath supernatural fire.

His clothes transformed with him, and within moments the teenager who had entered the locker area was gone.

A flaming skull stared back from the mirror.

Ghost Rider had returned.

He was about to leave when the system suddenly interrupted him.

[SYSTEM NOTIFICATION]

[Important Character Contact Detected.]

[Target Identified: Felicia Hardy]

[Alias: Black Cat]

[XP Awarded: +1,000]

Ghost Rider froze as his flaming head slowly tilted.

“Felicia Hardy?”

The system added the reward to his existing balance.

[Current System Level: 4]

[Current XP: 3,035 / 100,000]

Ghost Rider stared at the notification for several seconds.

Then he looked toward the hallway where the injured girl had been taken.

He suddenly remembered the platinum-white hair.

The stunned expression.

The fact that she had been trapped beneath the debris.

He slowly raised one flaming hand toward his face.

“Did I just accidentally save one of Spider-Man’s future headaches?”

For a moment, there was silence.

Then Zarathos’ voice echoed inside his mind.

“You saved an innocent.”

Ghost Rider shrugged his shoulders.

“Yeah, yeah.

He looked toward the damaged cafeteria.

Another crash shook the building.

Ghost Rider’s flames burned brighter.

“Still…”

He cracked his neck.

“I really need to deal with that oversized asshole before he brings the entire school down.”

He stepped toward the exit.

The moment he entered the corridor, the flames reflected against the walls.

Students and emergency personnel who happened to look in his direction froze.

A flaming skull stood at the end of the hallway.

Ghost Rider slowly walked toward the cafeteria.

“Alright, Juggernaut.”

His chain slid into his hand.

“Let’s see how unstoppable you really are.”

Ghost Rider stepped out of the locker room, and the reaction was immediate.

The firefighters who had been carrying equipment through the corridor stopped in their tracks.

A couple of paramedics turned around, and several students who were still being escorted outside simply stared at the flaming figure standing among them.

Nobody seemed to understand how he had gotten inside the school.

One firefighter lowered his radio.

“Is that…”

“Ghost Rider,”

Someone whispered in shock and awe.

Ghost Rider didn’t bother answering.

He simply walked past them.

The flames around his body reflected against the walls as he followed the noise of the ongoing fight.

Every step left a brief trail of fire beneath his boots before the flames disappeared.

The sounds of destruction eventually led him toward the chemistry wing.

Ghost Rider stopped at the entrance.

The situation had already gotten worse.

The fight between Spider-Man and Juggernaut had moved from the cafeteria into the chemistry laboratory.

Several workbenches had been overturned, glass containers had been smashed across the floor, and various chemicals had spilled and mixed together.

Thick smoke filled the room, while small fires burned across several sections of the laboratory.

Peter was moving around the room as quickly as he could, trying to keep Juggernaut away from anything that could make the situation even worse.

“Why couldn’t we just fight outside?”

Spider-Man complained while dodging another charge.

“Why does every giant supervillain I meet hate open spaces?”

Juggernaut charged again.

Peter jumped over him.

Juggernaut smashed straight through another laboratory table.

“Right.

He doesn’t answer questions.”

Ghost Rider stepped into the laboratory.

The temperature immediately seemed to change.

Peter’s spider-sense went crazy.

He turned.

His eyes widened behind the mask.

“Oh, come on.”

Ghost Rider raised one hand.

A wall of hellfire suddenly erupted between Spider-Man and Juggernaut.

The flames shot from the floor to the ceiling, separating the two.

Juggernaut stopped by the interference.

Spider-Man stopped too.

For a moment, even the chemical fire seemed less important.

Peter stared at Ghost Rider.

Inside his head, two tiny versions of Spider-Man appeared.

One had little angel wings.

The other had horns and a tiny devil tail.

The angel immediately pointed toward Ghost Rider.

“He’s here to help!”

The devil folded his arms.

“Or he’s here to make everything worse.”

The angel pointed toward the burning laboratory.

“How could it possibly get worse?”

A huge explosion sounded somewhere behind them.

The devil slowly looked at him.

“…Don’t ask questions you don’t want answered.”

Peter blinked and shook the imaginary versions out of his head.

“Okay.

Definitely losing it.”

Ghost Rider ignored Spider-Man.

His attention was entirely on Juggernaut.

He walked forward slowly.

His footsteps echoed through the damaged laboratory, each step leaving a brief trail of hellfire behind him.

Inside his mind, Zarathos suddenly spoke.

“Be careful.”

Ghost Rider’s flames flickered.

“The being before you is not merely a mortal.”

Ghost Rider looked at Juggernaut.

“There is another presence within him.

An external mystical influence.

Ancient.

Powerful.”

“Who?”

Zarathos’ voice became more serious.

“Cyttorak.”

Ghost Rider’s gaze narrowed.

The name meant something even to Zarathos.

“The man you see is an avatar.

His power is connected to that entity.

If you destroy his body, Cyttorak may simply restore him.

The soul itself is what matters.”

Ghost Rider looked at Juggernaut.

“So I can’t just kill him.”

“You could destroy the soul.

But…”

Ghost Rider paused.

“And piss off Cyttorak.

For touching his avatar…”

“Precisely.”

Ghost Rider sighed as he rubbed his skull head.

“Wonderful.”

Cyttorak wasn’t some ordinary supernatural being.

He was obsessed with having an unstoppable avatar on Earth, and Juggernaut was currently serving that purpose.

Ghost Rider wasn’t interested in picking a fight with a mystical entity of that scale simply because Juggernaut had decided to remodel a high school with his fists.

“Stop him, Do not destroy him.”

Zarathos advised sensing his thought.

Ghost Rider nodded his head.

“That’s the plan.”

Juggernaut suddenly roared.

He didn’t care about the conversation.

He simply charged.

The floor cracked beneath his feet as his enormous body accelerated toward Ghost Rider.

Peter’s eyes widened looking at t.

“Move!”

Ghost Rider didn’t as he waited.

At the last possible moment, Ghost Rider shifted his body sideways.

Juggernaut’s enormous shoulder passed within inches of him.

Ghost Rider moved with him.

His fingers struck Juggernaut’s body.

One point….

Then another….

Then another….

His fingers moved rapidly across Juggernaut’s body, almost like someone typing on an invisible keyboard.

Juggernaut’s expression changed.

“What…”

Ghost Rider struck another point.

Then another.

The chi from the Tai Lung template flowed through his fingertips and entered Juggernaut’s body, bypassing the enormous layers of muscle that would have stopped ordinary attacks.

This wasn’t about overpowering Juggernaut.

It was about making his own body work against him.

The chi reached specific pressure points and began interfering with the signals controlling his movement.

Juggernaut’s foot stopped halfway through a step.

His arm remained raised.

His entire body suddenly locked in place.

He looked like someone had pressed pause on him.

Spider-Man stared at the fight which ended with in seconds.

Ghost Rider calmly stood beside him.

“You’re strong.” Get faster updates on g.com.

He tapped another point.

“But strength isn’t always the answer.”

Juggernaut tried to move.

Nothing happened.

His muscles strained beneath the mystical armor, but the more force he applied, the more his own body resisted.

Peter slowly lowered his hands.

“Did you just…

paralyze Juggernaut?”

Ghost Rider looked toward him.

“Temporarily.”

Peter glanced at the enormous man frozen in place.

“That’s…

actually really impressive.”

Ghost Rider looked back at Juggernaut.

“The problem with fighting someone who can’t be stopped…”

He raised one flaming finger.

“…is that nobody said anything about making him move in the first place.”

Juggernaut’s eyes widened.

For the first time since entering the school, the unstoppable force had encountered something it couldn’t simply punch through.

Juggernaut’s entire body began to tremble.

At first, it was barely noticeable.

His fingers twitched against his will, followed by a slight movement in his shoulders.

The chi that Ghost Rider had forced through his pressure points had locked his body in place, but Juggernaut wasn’t the kind of man who accepted being told that he couldn’t move.

The anger building inside him was becoming almost physical.

He could feel the power of Cyttorak raging within him, almost as though it too rejected the idea of being restrained.

Juggernaut had always been about one thing.

Moving forward.

Nothing stopped him.

Not walls, Not vehicles, Not armies, Not superheroes.

And certainly not some flaming freak standing in his way.

“Move…”

The word came out through clenched teeth.

His muscles tightened.

Ghost Rider watched him carefully.

Juggernaut’s body suddenly jerked.

Peter took a cautious step backward.

“Uh…

is that supposed to happen?”

Ghost Rider didn’t answer.

The strain on Juggernaut’s body continued to increase.

His armor creaked as the enormous muscles underneath it contracted with tremendous force.

The veins across his neck and arms bulged violently.

He tried moving his right arm which he couldn’t move.

He pushed harder which caused a small movement.

His eyes widened looking at it.

He could move even through it was barely.

But it was enough.

Juggernaut’s breathing became heavier as he poured more and more strength into breaking the restraint.

His entire body shook from the effort.

Then blood began running from his nose.

A thin red line appeared first.

Then another.

Blood started dripping onto the floor.

Peter’s expression changed.

“That’s not good.”

The pressure inside Juggernaut’s body was becoming extreme.

The restraint wasn’t simply holding his muscles in place anymore.

It was forcing his own body to fight against itself.

Small streaks of blood began appearing beneath the gaps in his armor.

The vessels were being pushed beyond what they could handle.

Yet Juggernaut kept forcing himself forward.

His foot moved first.

Then another few inches.

The floor beneath him cracked.

Ghost Rider’s eyes narrowed which one could say through the way hell fire moves to express his emotions.

Zarathos’ voice echoed in his mind.

“He is burning through his own body.”

“I noticed.”

Juggernaut raised his head.

His eyes had turned bloodshot, his face twisted with rage as he stared directly at Ghost Rider.

“You…”

His voice was rough and strained.

“You think…”

He forced his leg forward another step.

“…these little tricks…”

His muscles shook violently.

“…can hold me?”

Another step.

Blood continued dripping from his nose.

Juggernaut’s lips curled into a savage grin.

“You forgot who I am.”

He forced his body forward one final time.

“I’M JUGGERNAUT, BITCH!”

The shout echoed through the ruined laboratory.

And then his body gave out.

The enormous figure suddenly collapsed forward.

THUD!

The floor shook when Juggernaut hit it.

Silence followed.

“….”

“….”

“….”

Ghost Rider stared down at him.

Spider-Man stared down at him.

Neither spoke for several seconds.

Peter slowly looked toward Ghost Rider.

“Did he just knock himself unconscious?”

Ghost Rider glanced at him.

“Pretty much.”

Peter looked back at Juggernaut.

“That’s…

honestly one of the strangest things I’ve ever seen.”

Ghost Rider crouched beside Juggernaut and checked him.

His body was still breathing but barely.

Ghost Rider could sense the immense mystical energy surrounding his soul.

Cyttorak was still there.

Watching through him and waiting.

But there was no reason to push things further.

Ghost Rider stood again.

“He’ll live.”

Peter looked relieved.

Ghost Rider turned toward the damaged laboratory.

The fires were still burning.

Broken equipment was scattered everywhere.

Smoke was filling the room.

Peter looked around.

“Yeah…

we’re going to have a lot of explaining to do.”

Ghost Rider glanced at him.

“Your school?”

Peter nodded hearing him.

“Unfortunately.

Wait…

I mean sorry for the school students…”

Ghost Rider looked at the massive hole in the wall.

Peter sighed as he looked at Ghost Rider.

“Thanks, by the way.

For saving everyone.

I couldn’t handle the situation on my own.”

Ghost Rider tilted his flaming skull.

Ghost Rider looked around at the damaged school nodding his head.
