Just as the two of them were enjoying the sweet atmosphere between them, a sudden “BOOM!” rang out.

The window beside them suddenly exploded, and a violent gust of wind rushed into the café.

A huge figure crashed onto the bar not far from them.Full novel: Marvel: Starting With Paw-Paw Fruit — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

The server behind the counter didn’t even have time to dodge before being slammed into the wall.

The moment the window shattered, Ethan’s heart tightened.

I let my guard down.

My Observation Haki clearly sensed that someone was fighting over there, but I was so absorbed in being with my girlfriend that I failed to react.

Damn it.

Ethan immediately lunged forward and knocked Hannah to the ground.

He covered her with his body while quickly removing his gloves.

The moment his gloves came off, his Observation Haki sensed another living being flying toward them.

Ethan immediately hugged Hannah tightly and slapped himself.

In an instant, the two disappeared.

Two kilometers away from the café, Ethan appeared on another street with Hannah in his arms.

Hannah had barely realized that Ethan had knocked her down before they suddenly appeared somewhere else.

She let out a startled cry and tightly hugged him.

Seeing that they were safe, Ethan quickly stopped a taxi nearby.

“Go home first.

I’ll follow you shortly.

Wait for me at your front door.”

When Hannah heard that he was leaving, she immediately realized that he intended to return to the café.

She grabbed his arm nervously.

“Don’t go back.

Let’s leave together, okay?

I’m scared.

Stay with me.”

Ethan hugged her and gently kissed her.

“Be good.

The casualties over there are pretty serious, and I know what that monster is.”

“I’ll take care of it and come right back.

I’ll definitely reach your house before you do, so don’t worry.”

Hannah knew that Ethan had already made up his mind.

She could only look at him affectionately.

“You have to wait for me at my house.”

“I want to see you as soon as possible.

You…

you know I can’t do this without you.”

After saying that, Hannah got into the taxi.

The driver immediately stepped on the accelerator and drove away.

Hannah’s words made Ethan realize just how fragile she was and how deeply she depended on him.

For her sake, he decided that he had to be even more careful.

After all, if his guess was correct, that monster was probably the Hulk.

Ethan wasn’t afraid of the Hulk.

The Paw-Paw Fruit was practically tailor-made for dealing with opponents who relied primarily on overwhelming physical strength without possessing other special abilities.

However, getting hit by the Hulk even once would be disastrous.

It was best not to dodge the Hulk’s attacks.

Instead, Ethan should use his Paw-Paw Fruit to directly repel them.

If he tried to dodge, he would also have to worry about the shockwaves and pressure generated by the Hulk’s punches.

Ethan remembered the movie.

When the Hulk fought the Abomination, Betty’s helicopter eventually caught fire, and the Hulk extinguished the flames by clapping his hands together and creating a powerful gust of wind.

But that wasn’t what concerned Ethan the most.

With Observation Haki, he should be able to easily predict the attacks of both the Hulk and the Abomination.

What worried him most was General Ross.

After watching the movie, Ethan knew how obsessed the general was with capturing the Hulk.

If Ethan interfered and sent both the Hulk and Abomination flying, Ross might identify him as another superpowered individual and turn his attention toward him.

Therefore, Ethan decided to find somewhere selling masks.

He would put on a mask, return home, change into his battle outfit, and then go back.

Once he had made up his mind, Ethan immediately started moving through the streets at high speed.

Before long, he found a shop selling Japanese masks.

He rushed inside, bought a Japanese demon mask, and left the store.

The moment he stepped outside, he activated his ability and quickly returned home.

He immediately began putting on his battle suit.

As he dressed, he couldn’t help thinking:

I hope everyone over there is still okay.

This is going to be my first real battle.

I have to finish it cleanly.

Hahaha, Hulk, are you ready to get slapped away?

Hmm…

I’ll just send both the Hulk and Abomination to the desert in the western United States and let them fight there.

Once he finished changing, Ethan slapped himself again.

His body instantly shot toward the battlefield.

By the time Ethan arrived, the Hulk and Abomination were already locked in combat.

General Ross’s aircraft had also crashed.

Ross stood nearby with his daughter, Betty.

The usually imposing general looked worried as he watched the two monsters fight.

Betty, with her delicate features and slender figure, was standing beside him.

When they noticed Ethan suddenly appear, everyone froze.

The first to react was the Abomination.

While the Hulk was still staring at the sudden newcomer, Abomination kicked him away.

Then he charged straight toward Ethan.

When he reached him, Abomination threw a massive punch.

“Look out!”

Seeing that Ethan was about to be hit, Betty instinctively shouted a warning.

The punch came down with enough force to make it seem as though it could shatter a mountain.

But Ethan had already sensed where it would land through his Observation Haki.

He quickly raised his right hand and placed it directly in front of his face.

Smack!

Under everyone’s disbelieving gazes, Abomination was sent flying backward as if he had been struck by his own punch.

He crashed through several walls before finally stopping.

After a moment, he slowly climbed back to his feet and glared at Ethan.

The Hulk was still watching Ethan.

Seeing that the Hulk had no intention of attacking yet, Abomination roared angrily and charged forward again.

People in the surrounding area gradually began running over to see what was happening.

Smack!

Abomination was sent flying once again.

He slowly got back up.

This time, however, he didn’t immediately attack.

Instead, he stared at Ethan as though trying to figure something out.

After thinking for a while, he unwillingly charged again.

But this time, the Hulk also moved.

The green giant charged toward Ethan alongside Abomination.

Ethan was somewhat confused.

He didn’t know that while the Hulk wasn’t particularly intelligent, he still possessed a certain level of reasoning.

After watching Ethan repeatedly send Abomination flying, Hulk had decided that Ethan was dangerous.

So, before dealing with Abomination, he decided to deal with Ethan first.

Under the stunned gazes of the growing crowd, the Hulk and Abomination repeatedly attacked Ethan.

Every time, Ethan simply sent them flying.

Then they would get back up and attack again.

Yet Ethan never launched a counterattack.

The reason was simple.

Although his offensive abilities were also extremely powerful, his Pressure Cannon was already devastating enough.

He could even compress massive amounts of air into an enormous bomb-like attack—the Ursus Shock.

But Ethan knew the Hulk and Abomination from the movies.

Those attacks probably wouldn’t do much against monsters like them.

Therefore, he had no intention of attacking them directly.

After a while, Ethan finally became impatient with the two seemingly tireless monsters.

He decided it was time to take action.

Excitement surged through him.

Finally.

Finally, the moment I’ve been waiting for.

Ever since I came to this world, I’ve been waiting for this.

My first proper battle.

And now…

my moment to show off has arrived!

The crowd around them continued to grow.

Ethan had appeared wearing a strange mask and hadn’t spoken a single word until now.

After sending the Hulk and Abomination flying once more, he slowly walked toward them.

When the two monsters got back to their feet, Ethan finally spoke.

“Where do you want to go?”

He had been waiting forever to say those words.

However, instead of answering him, the Hulk let out an enraged roar.

“HULK!”

The Hulk charged toward Ethan once again.

Ethan raised his hand.

Abomination, who had also been preparing to attack, stopped.

Abomination was far more intelligent than the Hulk.

Seeing that Ethan had suddenly changed from pure defense to making a move, he decided to wait and see what Ethan intended to do.

The Hulk rushed straight toward Ethan.

Just as he reached him and prepared to throw another devastating punch, Ethan’s raised hand suddenly moved.

BAM!

His palm struck the Hulk with tremendous force.

In the very next instant, the Hulk disappeared.

Only a violent whirlwind remained where the green giant had been standing.
