When Morris Chow looked at the first two talents of Daisy’s Inhuman heritage, he was genuinely shocked.
After all, these were two fixed talents that didn’t even require a choice.
Without guessing, the descriptions made it clear how powerful they were.
Furthermore, it seemed the steps to unlock her Inhuman abilities could be completely skipped—wasn’t this talent simply her Inhuman superpower?

The remaining four selectable talents were similar to those of ordinary humans in the game.
Morris gave Daisy a brief explanation.
The first one they discarded was Sword Specialization—Shamans couldn’t use swords anyway, so dropping it was a no-brainer.
Out of the remaining choices, they needed to pick two.
First was definitely The Human Spirit, which boosted the Spirit attribute by 5%.
This directly amplified the power of Daisy’s Inhuman talent.
For her second choice, Daisy selected Diplomacy.
Although she didn’t know what reputation was useful for yet…
being a diplomat sounded like a respectable and prestigious job in the real world.
As for Mace Specialization, Daisy admitted she preferred magic, and Enhancement Shaman specs didn’t offer much synergy with her talents anyway.
Afterward, Daisy added Morris as a friend and entered the game to start leveling.
Morris quickly got into the groove as well, spawning directly at the entrance of Shadowfang Keep.
At level 20, backed by four classes, soloing Shadowfang Keep to level up was remarkably efficient!
Fortunately, they were mostly about quest details.
Morris had played a Tauren Warrior back in the classic era, so he still remembered most of the starter quests.
After a few pointers, Daisy was able to complete them smoothly.
In addition, Daisy learned her skills much faster than Morris.
Naturally, she only needed to learn skills for the Shaman class, while Morris had to master four.
Luckily, having more skills was never a burden.
Morris could heal, deal damage, and handle a bit of everything—even when it came to pets, he had eight of them.
That was right; at level 10, he had already planned out his entire pet lineup.
A turtle for defense, a bear for off-tanking, two cheetahs for DPS, a bat, and a bird.
As for the remaining two pet slots, Morris saved them for the Warlock’s Voidwalker and Succubus.
He would figure out future pet setups later; for now, this loadout worked wonders.
With full investment in the Beast Mastery tree, three of Morris’s pets were as strong as a standard Warrior player, which was one of his main reliances for soloing dungeons.
With seven pets holding the frontline and a Succubus offering crowd control, Morris could clear a run of Shadowfang Keep in just about twenty minutes.
Soloing Shadowfang Keep above his level yielded over 20,000 experience points per run.
However, because Morris carried an experience bar eight times larger than a normal player’s, he needed to clear it six whole times just to gain a single level.
Thus, an hour and a half later, when Daisy reached level 6 and left the starter area, Morris—even with his leftover experience from before—had only just reached level 21.
This naturally earned him a round of teasing from Daisy.
Of course, Daisy didn’t know about his unique Golden Finger, so Morris simply ignored her ribbing.
Once they logged off, he would have his revenge.
Morris possessed immense patience for solitude, staying inside Shadowfang Keep for the entire night.
At 8:00 AM the following morning, he finally logged out of the game alongside Daisy at her request.
Over the course of the night, Morris hadn’t learned a single new skill, focusing purely on grinding dungeon runs for experience.
Aside from a quick trip back when his bags were full, he hadn’t stopped once during those twelve hours.
Even so, his level had only crept up from 20 to 24.
Indeed, an eightfold experience penalty posed quite a hurdle.
Daisy, on the other hand, had a normal experience curve.
Though she spent the latter half of the night slacking off, she had reached level 16, moving her map location from Thunder Bluff to The Crossroads.
She had also learned all available skills up to level 16. This chapter is updated first at g.com.
As for primary professions, following Morris’s recommendation, she learned Alchemy and Engineering—professions he hadn’t picked—so they could complement each other in the future.
Back in the hotel room, Daisy excitedly wrapped her arms around Morris.
Both of them were stripped bare, and the spark immediately ignited into a wild blaze on the bed.
Fortunately, the hotel bed was sturdy, and Morris had learned to control his physical strength, so they didn’t cause too much damage.
Though while taking a shower afterward, Daisy “accidentally” broke a glass cup.
After their exercise, the two went downstairs for a bite to eat before returning to the room.
Under Morris’s guidance, Daisy quickly adapted to her newly gained strength.
Daisy’s initial Strength, Agility, and Constitution hadn’t increased by too much—Strength at 21, Agility at 20, and Constitution at 20—making them relatively easy to manage.
Even after leveling up over ten times, those physical attributes had only risen by around thirty-five points.
However, her Intellect and Spirit attributes were strikingly high.
Her Intellect reached 86 points, gaining an extra point per level.
Her Spirit increased by three extra points per level, bringing her current Spirit attribute to a staggering 148 points!
And that was unequipped base stats.
Equipment from the game couldn’t be brought into reality, much to Morris’s helplessness.
By the afternoon, the restless girl was already clamoring for real-world equipment!
Morris thought about it and decided it was worth a try.
After searching around, the two found a tailor shop in Brooklyn and bought a batch of linen, wool cloth, and a small amount of silk.
When Morris used his Tailoring skill in the real world for the first time, he was surprised to find that real linen and wool could actually substitute for the game’s two basic fabrics.
The same applied to silk, though it was considerably more expensive!
Fortunately, they could only wear low-level gear at the moment, so a small amount of linen and wool was enough to craft a few starter pieces.
“Morris, we need to find a way to make money.
High-level materials in the future won’t come cheap!
Especially Jewelcrafting, Enchanting, and Engineering—even if those materials exist here, they’ll cost a fortune!”
Daisy spoke to Morris with a solemn expression after they returned to the hotel.
“True.
Let me think about it first,” Morris began considering the issue.
In the real world, living without money was impossible.
“If you have any good ideas, feel free to pitch them.”
