Inside Tony’s luxurious seaside villa, the owner of the house was entertaining Lancelot in the living room.

After pouring two glasses of whiskey and setting the bottle down, Tony carried both glasses over to Lancelot, who was sitting on the sofa, and handed one to him.

“Here.”

“Thank you.”

As a knight, Lancelot expressed his gratitude with impeccable politeness.

“Then, let’s talk about your demands.”

Tony took a small sip of whiskey, then folded his arms across his chest and leaned back against the sofa opposite Lancelot, staring at him.

“Tell me, what do you want?”

“What do I want?”

Lancelot was somewhat confused.

“Yes.

You gave me a design blueprint like that, so you must want something from me in return.

Even though the technology is only theoretical at this point, I’ve already tried calculating it and had Jarvis run some tests.

Its feasibility is as high as ninety percent.”

“The problem is that some of the technologies are so far ahead of their time that even I can’t realize them at the moment.

Still, there are many things in it that are extremely useful to me.”

“Personally, I consider myself the smartest man on Earth, but I never expected there to be technology so far beyond my own.”

“You gave me this technology because you obviously want something in return.

Although I don’t know who you really are, and I don’t even know whether you’re human or some kind of ghost who can appear and disappear at will, I think there must be a purpose behind you appearing beside me, and this blueprint is part of that purpose.”

“First of all, you possess abilities I don’t understand, especially that ghost-like ability to appear and disappear.”

“I think you’re the kind of superpowered person who only exists in comic books.

Yet you happen to have a blueprint for highly advanced technology in your hands.

In this situation, you appear beside me and hand me the blueprint.

The reason must be that although you possess advanced technology, you, or whoever is behind you, lack the ability to manufacture something like this.

That’s why you’re giving me these design plans and getting whatever you want from me in return.

Am I right?”

Looking extremely confident in his analysis, Tony raised his hand slightly.

“Besides, you just said you wouldn’t help me build armor so I could beat you up, yet now you’re giving me something this good.

So tell me, what do you want?”

After speaking, he took another sip of his drink and waited for Lancelot to respond.

Lancelot himself was actually at a loss because he had no idea what to say.

He had come to hand Tony the Gundam Exia blueprint purely because Amakusa had ordered him to.

He knew nothing else and was simply carrying out all of Amakusa’s instructions.

As for the Gundam Exia blueprint, it was not actually an original blueprint.

It was merely a drawing of Exia that Amakusa had sketched from memory.

The explanations of its technology had also been written by Amakusa based on the encyclopedic knowledge stored in his head.

After all, back when he used to argue about lore and settings on Internet forums, all of this had been essential knowledge.

It was all just theory that sounded incredibly fantastical.

Who could have imagined that Tony would actually prove that the technology was feasible and even regard it as highly advanced technology, even though Gundam technology was indeed extraordinarily sophisticated. This chapter was taken from g.com without permission.

Most importantly, the reason Amakusa had sent the blueprint in the first place was because of a sudden idea he had to see Tony wearing Exia’s armor and shouting, “I am Gundam!”

Lancelot, having no idea how to respond, immediately contacted Amakusa, who was far away in New York, to ask for advice.

“An attitude of caution like that is perfectly understandable.

Tony Stark is both an inventor and a businessman, so when it comes to something we give him for free, he’ll naturally suspect that there’s some hidden motive behind it.

If we don’t ask for anything at all, that will only make him find it even stranger.”

After receiving Lancelot’s message, Amakusa found the situation quite amusing.

He hadn’t expected Tony to take it so seriously and come up with such an analysis.

“Since he’s already put it that way, let’s ask him for something.

The things Tony possesses have limited value to us.

We’re people involved in the world of mystery, so technology isn’t particularly useful to us.”

“Just ask him for some money.

We can use the money from him to buy shares in his company.

I was actually still thinking about how to increase our income.”

“Understood.”

After receiving Amakusa’s order, Lancelot found it much easier to speak.

Looking at Tony, he stated his request.

“I want money.”

“You want money?

Is it really that simple?”

Tony looked at Lancelot in confusion, as though money were hardly something worth caring about.

“Yes.”

“How much do you want?

Name the price.

Money isn’t a problem!”

“That depends on how much you’re willing to offer.”

Since Lancelot had no idea what amount would be appropriate, he left the entire price negotiation to Tony.

That way, he didn’t have to worry about saying the wrong thing.

“This technology is far ahead of its time, so I’m willing to pay fifty million dollars for it.”

“I know that might sound a little cheap, but even I won’t be able to build this technology for the time being.”

“I’m sure that if someone else were to research it, it would be far more complicated, or they might not even know how to begin researching it.

So I think this is a fair price for now.

And I need a guarantee that you won’t give this technology to anyone else.”

Tony made his offer.

“No problem.

Agreed.

I can also guarantee that this blueprint won’t be given to anyone else.”

Lancelot gave his own guarantee.

“Okay, no problem.

Give me your bank account number.

If anyone investigates you, I’ll tell them it’s an account belonging to me.

Even the military will give me some face.”

Tony was extremely generous, even thoughtfully helping Lancelot deal with potential problems in the future.

“All right, no problem.”

Since Tony had said that, Amakusa no longer needed to worry.

For something like this, Amakusa trusted Tony enough.

So he instructed Lancelot to immediately give Tony his bank account number.

Because of Tony’s involvement, a transfer of that size would inevitably attract attention, but if Tony was willing to take responsibility for it, there would be no problem.

Even if someone wanted to investigate, there would be someone to block them and a legitimate explanation to back it up.

After obtaining the account number, Tony wasted no time.

He immediately instructed Jarvis to transfer fifty million dollars from his personal account to Amakusa.

“The money has been transferred.

Do you have anything else to take care of?”

Tony set down his glass.

“If there’s nothing else and you’ve already received the money, you can go home.

I’m going downstairs to start my research.

These things will take a lot of time to study, and I don’t have much time to entertain you.”

With the matter settled, Tony immediately began seeing his guest out.

He had no habit of sitting around and chatting for long periods with another grown man.

Without caring what Lancelot intended to do next, Tony ran back downstairs by himself, heading straight for the underground research laboratory beneath his villa.

He began studying the Gundam Exia blueprint along with several quantum theories.

He could hardly wait to research and realize this armor suit, especially the Trans-Am system contained within it.

Left alone in the living room, Lancelot grew bored, so he chose to transform into Spiritform and leave the place.

After all, he had already completed every task Amakusa had ordered him to carry out.

However, Tony obviously wasn’t going to simply stop keeping an eye on them.

While researching how to implement the technology, he also instructed Jarvis to monitor Amakusa’s account and see how the money was being used.

It didn’t take long for Jarvis to provide his report.

“Sir, the fifty million dollars you just transferred has all been used to purchase shares of Stark Industries on the New York Stock Exchange.”

“What??”

Tony was instantly dumbfounded.
