“I didn’t cry.” She wanted to cry, but she didn’t let herself.
Ye Fanxing rubbed her eyes.
“…”
Looking at Ye Fanxing, Fu Jingyu always felt that something had happened to her after she went out today, which made her appear like this when she returned.
Ye Fanxing looked at Fu Jingyu and asked, “Uncle, have you ever been betrayed?”
Ye Fanxing’s question instantly reminded Fu Jingyu of Su Linhuan.
His gaze instantly became cold and a bit scary.
Ye Fanxing didn’t dare to ask any further and changed the subject, “I’m going to drink some water.”
She stood up and walked to the kitchen, pouring herself a glass of water.
As she returned, she saw Fu Linglong coming in from outside, with Gu Yuzhe following behind.
Fu Linglong was protective of her brother, knowing that Fu Jingyu was living alone outside, she was concerned, so she wanted to come and check on him.
She had already called Fu Jingyu before coming.
“Xingxing.” Fu Linglong greeted Ye Fanxing with a smile when she saw her.
“Sister, good evening.” After greeting, Ye Fanxing’s gaze fell on Gu Yuzhe, not understanding why he came along.
Fu Linglong had something to say to Fu Jingyu, so the two of them went to the study.
Ye Fanxing sat down at the dining table and continued eating her cake, and Gu Yuzhe came over and sat down beside her.
The last time they met at the Fu Family’s place, the two did not have a chance to talk.
Ye Fanxing didn’t know what to say to him at this time.
They had already broken up!
She didn’t bother with him and just quietly ate her cake.
It was Gu Yuzhe who finally spoke, “Stay away from my uncle.”
In an almost commanding tone, Ye Fanxing looked up at Gu Yuzhe to find his expression very serious.
He meant it.
Ye Fanxing asked, “Why?”
He was just Fu Jingyu’s nephew, not Fu Jingyu’s parents.
Besides, the Fu Family didn’t say anything, who was he to have a say?
Gu Yuzhe replied, “You don’t even like my uncle, being with him is hurting him!”
“Who told you I don’t like him?” Ye Fanxing didn’t look at Gu Yuzhe.
Since she had already decided to marry Uncle, she would not do anything to hurt him.
Not even her heart could!
So, she no longer liked Gu Yuzhe, even if she did, she would pretend not to.
Her words made a glimmer of sadness flash through Gu Yuzhe’s eyes.
If she likes Uncle, it means, she doesn’t like him!
Zhao Jiaqi said, Ye Fanxing never liked him.
She was just with him because he was rich and the most popular boy in school….
Ye Fanxing had been with someone else behind his back.
So…
The person she was with is Uncle?
Although Gu Yuzhe had broken up with Ye Fanxing, he truly liked her.
He looked at Ye Fanxing, “My uncle is so much older than you, you guys are from different worlds, can you really like him?”
“I just like older guys, mature ones.
Is that not allowed?”
Ye Fanxing looked at Gu Yuzhe and really didn’t understand.
They had already broken up, what was the point of him saying all this.
“When did you guys get together?” This was the question Gu Yuzhe wanted to know the most, whether it was before or after they broke up.
“We’ve been together for a long time!
We were together even before the holidays.
When I was avoiding you every day, it was to be with him!”
In fact, she was just working part-time at that time, but since Gu Yuzhe had already believed Zhao Jiaqi’s words, Ye Fanxing didn’t want to explain anymore.
“Ye Fanxing!” Out of anger, Gu Yuzhe’s body started shaking, his voice amplified and he blasted out her name.
She betrayed him!
And she had the audacity to be so defiant about it.
